Your supervisor was all over you this video, must be time for evaluation and a pay raise. Your dad is a really smart farmer and excellent on mechanical issues. Say hello to all the gang I really have enjoyed the corn harvest. Stay safe and give Thomas a big hug for me.💙❤️
Remember the open station combines? Looking at the dust cloud around the combine and remembering dust on clothes, face, hands, even penetrating your shirt! Thank goodness for comfortable cabs.
After years in the business of working on trucks, you can replace all the u joints and it will probably still make the noise. We replaced the drive shaft with a steel shaft and got rid of the noise, but first check the rear end to verify that it's not in the diff.
Daniel, Watch the earlier video when your dad was inspecting rear uni-joint...watch closely; that joint has about 1/8" of movement in it! Always enjoy your videos! btw, that joint was under pressure when you tried to move it (probably in "park") Put the truck on a rack where you won't have to sliver around like a snake...
On your pickup may want to check and make sure the leaf springs are not shifting, I had a alinement bolt that holds the springs from shifting break on a truck I used to have, took quite a while to figure it out.
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another awesome video and Daniel glad to see you'll back with another video it's been a minute and also I see the pressure washer is fixed thumbs 👍
Daniel check that u joint again this time jack up the truck get the back wheels off the ground and put the transmission in neutral. That takes all the pressure off the driveshaft and then you can get a true idea if it's bad or not. Just a little advice from a diesel mechanic of 38 years. Hope this helps
I always heard it called Marker corn. You can mark a row and be able to see it for a specific reason. Variety change, fertilizer change or chemical change etc.
Daniel Take you a small triangle file and file in between the splines on both ends of the shaft and I just about guarantee you and will slide on and off easily
Good morning Granny, Dan, Daniel and all of Triple R Farms hope yall have a blessed day great video as always thanks Daniel for your work and sharing with us
Daniel...check out Ivers farms...Dennis designed/built a small blower for the header top...switch under steering wheel to activate...hooks right up to air, although he uses an extra tank for reserve pressure...stalk used all the corn/cob building nutrients to build stalk...could item the genetically altered seed?...
I watched Millennial Farmer yesterday on TH-cam and he put these plastic or nylon plates by May West on the bottom of the snouts. He said it keeps the snout from damage by not letting it ride too low. Also, there were some new tips they put on the snouts. Interesting stuff. Wonder if that might help you? No, I don't work for May West ( I guess Farm Products?).
Good morning Granny, hope all has been well with you. See you are still hot down your way I think fall is close up here in Michigan. Around 75 highs and 55 or so at night. And im ready Hopefully one of these days you will start to cool down. It's been a nasty summer for you folks. Take care and have a great weekend Granny.
As usual great video and the drone work always top notch. You sure had some great corn this year. Hopefully the beans and cotton are just as good. Going to miss your dad when he gives it up some day. He's always on the spot keeping track of everything. Dam smart man your dad is. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO LUCY ????? Have a good weekend all.
Reverse your feeder just a little bit before u go to pull pto shaft off. This should make a huge difference for u. U shouldn't need that prybar anymore.
As an old fellow, I got a kick out off the opening scene. All these buttons that you have to push nowadays to get a vehicle going! You are lucky that you weren't doing the planting in the field that is missing the rows of corn. You would have heard about it from your Dad.
Beautiful drone footage Daniel I really enjoyed it. Have you thought of mounting one of your cameras down where the lines are leaking while combining to see if you can identify where the leak is coming from.
That u joint in your truck might need grease those little beetle bearing pins can get dry and make all kinds of noise! I had that happen on a chevy truck!
I'm wondering if with pressure on the diff and transmission, knowing even if the UJ was bad you climbed under there with torque on it and tried to wiggle it just for shits and giggles? Surely you know it would have the weight of the drivetrain on it, you would need to jack it up. Good on you for taking the piss out of the commenters tho. Put some 85-140 oil in the diff for a couple of days and that will show up if it's the backlash in your diff. Just a suggestion Daniel. You do what you do best as your life seems perfect the way it is.
Daniel, I thought y'all ' had two combines at one time. Is this combine the one that was rebuilt back in the winter with new replacement parts which had been worn out. Also wasn't the rotor replaced with new parts?
It looks like the header is cutting the stalks off and you're running the whole stalks and the ears through the combine. Instead of the header stripping the ear off the stalk!!
Daniel, Oddly enough I have a newspaper clipping from the 40’s in Clay County Alabama where my Great Great Uncle brought in a stalk to the local paper that had 25 ears in a cluster on it😂 Good day Granny, Roll Tide!
Goodmorning Daniel ..on the drive shaft being difficult...clean dirt and debris around the ball bearings..you made have to take apart to get the ball bearings moving freely...be safe

I would remove the driveshaft from differential and work thru its full range of motion. you might find there is either slop in the u joint or binding
Good morning 🙏. Good job with the 🌽. You'll are Hard working with the 🌽. Say Hi to grandma. Good bless everyone Amen 😊
Engage the head reverser for couple seconds before you try to unhook. It will slip right off
On your pickup may want to check and make sure the leaf springs are not shifting, I had a alinement bolt that holds the springs from shifting break on a truck I used to have, took quite a while to figure it out.
Morning Granny 🎉! Great video! Always enjoy seeing and hearing Dad's wisdom.
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another awesome video and Daniel glad to see you'll back with another video it's been a minute and also I see the pressure washer is fixed thumbs 👍
Need to check it in neutral Where a won't no pressure , On the Drive line
Congrats on great corn harvest 2023!!
Daniel check that u joint again this time jack up the truck get the back wheels off the ground and put the transmission in neutral. Your super corn is what we called a Rouge a volunteer plant from the year before. Love your videos!
I always heard it called Marker corn. You can mark a row and be able to see it for a specific reason. Variety change, fertilizer change or chemical change etc.
Daniel
Take you a small triangle file and file in between the splines on both ends of the shaft and I just about guarantee you and will slide on and off easily
Hi Daniel, when you had your truck jacked up earlier and your dad was moving the drive shaft, I could definitely see some play in the u-joint.👍👍👍🙏
Good morning Granny, Dan, Daniel and all of Triple R Farms hope yall have a blessed day great video as always thanks Daniel for your work and sharing with us
May West has some sliders that screw on bottom of snout that keeps snouts from digging into ?????? Yellow snout tips too!
Daniel, you need a battery powered leaf blower to clean off your combine and head. Easy to keep it in service trailer or your pickup.
Love watching your drone footage!!
Very good video Daniel. Good to see y'all's almost done with your corn. Yeah the stalk of super corn was disappointing 😊 Good morning Granny 🌻

Hopefully one of these days you will start to cool down.
It's been a nasty summer for you folks. Take care and have a great weekend Granny.
Thank you. I am doing well.
On your header PTO shaft - start the reverser - it will loosen the joint and allow its removal faster. (Humor me - it works!)
Good to see the Red and Green working nicely together 😂
Good morning thank you for your hard work 👍🏻😉🙋♂️
Enjoyed the video Daniel. Me Dan is the man. God bless you all
As usual great video and the drone work always top notch.

Your dad is smart he’s spot on about that leak! My dad use to do me like that!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great job Daniel and Co. knock those acres out👍🏻keep em comin 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Love the drone shots
Great video. You have to jack up the truck to check the u-joint.
Daniel, have you seen where a farmer installed air to blow off feeder house? It's on a 9250 but should work. Ivers farms on you tube.
Great video !!! Thank you!!
Reverse the feeder house pops right off
Beautiful drone footage Daniel I really enjoyed it. Have you thought of mounting one of your cameras down where the lines are leaking while combining to see if you can identify where the leak is coming from.
Jack up the rear and take it out of park! Telling ya, I saw the slack in it.
Try some graphite on the splines, it won’t collect dirt like other products
Set the brake put it in neutral see if there's any play then, transmission is holding the shaft still in park
Great video thanks for sharing
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!
Recheck the u joint in neutral,it won't show bad in a bind
That u joint in your truck might need grease those little beetle bearing pins can get dry and make all kinds of noise! I had that happen on a chevy truck!
“Super corn” puts all it’s energy into the corn plant & not the cob. Looked like the corn wasn’t pollinated. If not, that explains it
Thought I was behind you on US-80 heading towards Montgomery
Great video good to see y'all
Combines are amazing machines. A lot of fun to watch in operation.
But I cant wait for the cotton picker.
Anti-sieve may work on the coupler, it's worth a try any way.
Looking good for the morning
Take pressure off the drive shaft before you check it. Good morning Granny
Good Morning Danial and Granny.
Good stuff boys....
I think the problem with your truck is your carrier bearing. I just replaced mine and it’s a real booger.
THANKS!
Great camera work
Another great video , I was just wondering if you found the leak ? Was it up high like your dad said .
Hello from Texas
hey great video, I was wondering if you still have two combines?!
What was your bushel average in Tyler and The Valley? Dry land vs. Irrigated?
I'm wondering if with pressure on the diff and transmission, knowing even if the UJ was bad you climbed under there with torque on it and tried to wiggle it just for shits and giggles? Surely you know it would have the weight of the drivetrain on it, you would need to jack it up. Good on you for taking the piss out of the commenters tho. 🚜🌽🇷🇸👍👍from SERBIA🇷🇸
Get a Tundra, man! Stay safe.
Good job guys
What did corn average. It looked good. Enjoy your videos.
you have to put your truck in neutral to move the driveshaft in park you cant move it
Case IH chain and lube not dust or dirt
How are the pine trees coming planted last spring?
Is all your corn acreage for seed corn or is some for commodity grain also?
Bump your header reverser and the driveshaft will come off easily.
Spray some graphite on your combines drive shaft
Very nice worke 👍hello from israel
Need more videos!
try silicone spray or never sieze on the splines
That looks like a heavy corn head! 12row 36in rows is a big one I had 30in rows except for cotton they were 36in.
They’re heavier than people think for sure
Howdy triple R farm
Great videos where is your dad's combine is it for beans
Good morning Granny. Have a great day
Thank you.
You need to remove the drive shaft and see if all joints are free GARY in ford Virginia
Put it in park and rock it back and forth to see if the u-joint is toast.
Driveshaft might be bended
Daniel ,did you have the truck in park?Unless the video was glitchy, I SAW IT slop.
Daniel, I thought y'all ' had two combines at one time. Is this combine the one that was rebuilt back in the winter with new replacement parts which had been worn out. Also wasn't the rotor replaced with new parts?
Needed to jack truck off ground to check
Time to bale that 24 rows and get that seed out of the field. I bet someone close would do the baling for the hay if ya'll don't want it
Unjoint can be froze up and cause same problem GARY IN FORD VIRGINIA
It looks like the header is cutting the stalks off and you're running the whole stalks and the ears through the combine. Instead of the header stripping the ear off the stalk!!
Super stock no fruit .
But I think the problem is that combine is red instead of green
We’ve had both and both seem to have their own issues for sure. We had red for probably 6-8 years then went back green🤷🏻♂️
Daniel,
Oddly enough I have a newspaper clipping from the 40’s in Clay County Alabama where my Great Great Uncle brought in a stalk to the local paper that had 25 ears in a cluster on it😂
Good day Granny, Roll Tide!
Hello. WAR EAGLE 🦅
Goodmorning Daniel
..on the drive shaft being difficult...clean dirt and debris around the ball bearings..you made have to take apart to get the ball bearings moving freely...be safe
Apparently TH-cam mechanics are about as good as TH-cam lawyers.
too tall to get pollen on silk. so much for super corn.
Get yourself some mae wes snout savers.
I think you might invest in a new broom
If you hadn’t broke your broom, you would still have a broom instead of just a broom head.
You didn’t mention anything about yields. Hope it was as good or better than others.
Daniel check your midshift bearing.
