I agree with Dennis, it doesn't matter what color or brand machine you get they all break down, even if they are brand new, I know a guy that bought a new logging loader, John Deere, 220 hrs the motor blew, they all break down, thanks for sharing Reece, god bless 🇺🇲💪✊👌🤙
You guys are the Best, love how you respect each other, it takes everyone working together and your family, and employees are the and example for the world to use 😊.
Hey..i like to make a comment on your drone footage...excellent job plus the music that you use in it is sooo relaxing..it blends very well with the scenery...please do more of it
Reese you're doing real good with the videos your dad made a very good point all Equipment Works well Until It Breaks it doesn't matter what brand it is it's going to break sooner or later and there's always glitches with brand new equipment
I grew up in Lawrenceville IL. My family still lives there. Great to see farmers are still doing well in the area. Growing up I always wanted to be a farmer. I move to So. Cali. In 1978 when it was a beautiful place. I live in AZ. now, the cold keeps me away. I love to visit this time of year for the fall festival and the harvest of the corn. Good luck and thanks for the video. I'm homesick now. 🥲
As we truly appreciate you and entire family for all your videos. Farming alone is a very tiring job on its own and the. Throwing in the mix for a TH-cam channel is even more work. Just wanted you to know from myself and I know everyone that has subscribed to ur channel feels the same that we truly appreciate everything you all do making the channel better and more informative about all the different parts of farming. Thank you
Thanks for sharing another excellent video👍 Dennis, keep that big red machine rollin thru the corn acres!! Reese, I really appreciate the Harvest Update at the end of your videos… not only is that a unique bonus, but it gives us, the loyal subscribers, a way to know just how much longer corn and soybean harvest is gonna last. The other huge benefit to this channel is that your videos are current and up-to-date. Many of the other farming channels are a month (or more) behind the current week. Keep up the great work!!
Love the videos. Really show off the great family and people that you have working for you. Also really like all the irrigation and trials you do. Thanks for the videos. Hope you all have a safe and productive harvest.
Awesome video again! I want to say Thank You for putting out these videos and representing American agriculture in all its glory. You do a great job showing all the technology and science that is available today.
Thanks for the video. The camera in front of the combine cab at the header was an awesome shot & the grain cart auger one was cool too. Y'all got some nice equipment there.
The tech for farming is amazing(when it all works). Fields look great! So refreshing, so many of our farmers have been in a drought out this year. Poor Welkers in Montana are on their 3rd year of severe drought/hail damage. Food security is national security, the country does well when our farmers do well!
@@nealulrich917 Montana farms like Welkers & FastAg don’t have irrigation. Welker’s can’t drill, there’s methane & other gases under their fields. Like Reese said, you could see the stand difference in what was watered & not just in one field.
@@chrissyfrancis8952 will do, it’ll be awhile before we get back into irrigated corn. We can mostly just get enough water on the Indiana side of the river
I say this alot but absolutely love ❤️ Harvest time. It looks so peaceful out in the country. Living in a suburb of Indianapolis constantly worrying about the high crime rate takes a toll on one's mental health. I miss coming down to the Fall Festival, 2016 was the last year we came down. Reese Another great video. P.S kind of curious who passed away, used to know alot of people around that area. It's ok if you can't say on TH-cam . See ya Wednesday.
Nice view of the grain cart unloading into the truck. Like always, another great harvest video! I am exciting to see the upcoming video of all the trucks parked in that newly insulated shed (maybe on Instragram as an early peek) 🙂
Ivers boys, while I’m not a fan of red iron; Dennis is spot on with what he said. New equipment no matter what make it is always has gremlins. Case in point, bought two new Deere CS770 12 row strippers. On the first day we had a hydraulic drive motor on a row unit go bad. Then the other one had two hydraulic hoses that weren’t crimped right come apart. These machines are more expensive then a class 9 combine. It is what it is.
Your videos are great. That’s true about the different colors. They all have their flaws. Your Dealer makes your machine look great. No Dealer No good service.
A lot of good stuff here. I love seeing "Lawrence County, Illinois" in the title. It was neat how you had the shadow of the drone in the opening sequence. As much as the drone footage, I love how you find odd places to use the magnet on the camera. Cool shots of corn going into a truck from the grain cart as an example. Too bad you can't speed Dennis' combine up like that without the camera. Harvest would be done in three days!
Iam impressed that you guys do 6000acres with 1 combine and pretty much 1 operator and the same for the grain cart didn’t want to leave you out Reese you guys do one heck of a job thanks for sharing
Good video Seem like the corn is drying down nicely seem like the yield is staying up .Sound like the XYWAY didn't really make that much different in yield.Hope you have a good week next week.
Reese, I am truly a sane person, but I can smell the corn field dust just watching. Harvested with my Grandpa and Uncles for many years back in the day. Sounds crazy but I can.
I really like the cornhead view and the auger spout view Its amazing to me that you can sorta tell how wet the corn is based on how it flows, or maybe I am just crazy
Great to see you guys getting the crop in. Central Indiana is just getting started with some beans but haven't seen much if any corn coming out yet. Praying for a good year for you and all the farmers. Keep doing what you do. And thank you.
If the truck came from out west it might need a different radiator. We had a truck that kept getting plugged out turns out lots of trucks out west run a radiator with different fins but they don’t work well in more humid climates.
And guys. Unfortunately you need to take the air to air off. Move the ac condensor just put out the way and wash out the rad. Its a 2 hour job. But well worth it. 2 times a year. Then your pete will run perfect. It's not just the dust. It's a part of it. The bugs the straw and everything else that gets sucked in. I know you all know this already. But I own a smack of pete trucks. So it's just peterbilt experience lol. Love the channel. Hope to 1 day to Harvest corn. It's the only standing crop I've never cut with a harvester. Funny fact. I haul grain for a living. Worked with farmers my whole life.
In WABASH county Indiana a neighbor started tomato harvest the end august seed corn harvest last week and a neighbor cut a field of beans that was sprayed. They are probably a week to ten days from much harvesting being done
SW Tippecanoe county Indiana there are a few early beans harvested and one neighbor has started on corn. It will be a week or so before our tenants start beans, and corn later yet.
buy what u want no matter what color u have there csn b a problem just the way it goes those r the comments i would pay no attion to i love watching ur videos im northern il they havent started yet but wont b much longer they well b
In my area. Colour doesn't matter. Service is what everyone buys for. If red had better service there would be more red combines in the area. John deere is the only one in our area that had any service
Kind of a bummer when new machines have issues...at least they're under warranty. Better to have some problems show up when you're easing into harvest rather than when things are running full bore.
All combines can have problems. John Deere ones have problems with all their sensors on their equipment from what I hear. People have to remember equipment break , period.
Your farming contraption is the same as what you throw away you just gotta change the end of it out by unscrewing it and put in the other end from the other one you threw awy. Both the water and air radiator cleaners are the same thing from shoup manufacturers just have differentfittins.

Your drone footage Reese is spot on. All of you, stay safe.
Dennis, I agree. Every type of vehicle or machinery has a “Break in” period when problems are revealed.
You guys are the Best, love how you respect each other, it takes everyone working together and your family, and employees are the and example for the world to use 😊.
Thank you for putting this out early. Was able to listen to part of it before Sunday school/church.
Another great week. So happy to see things going well and good yields!

I could watch a live feed all day of Dennis picking corn. Mesmerizing.....Great job boys.
Why not go help someone else and drive yourself?
Thank yall

Thanks for the Great Video's.
Super harvest video! The insulated truck shop will be great. To get up on a Sunday morning and watch corn harvest on a big tv from Sask. Canada!
Another great video!
Poor Jay - always taking a beating! Haha
He does gets beaten a lot but he is such a good natured guy!
Great video lots of action shots and drone shots good stuff 👍
Great video. Have a safe harvest. God bless.

Great job with your videos, can almost smell the corn
Hard smell to beat
Looks like everything is going great now with your combine keep up the great videos
Awesome Awesome Awesome video. Love them. Keep up the great work. Both with farming and the videos
Great drone footage. Emmy worthy for sure. A red rhinestone Case IH tuxedo will look great on the red carpet.
Now you’re talking 😎
Sure do enjoy the videos Ivers, glad to see 2 a week now.
great video reese

Looking good on a rainy Sunday morning..

Thank you for your videos. I enjoy seeing your country vs south plains of Texas.
Glad you like them!
Andy Dole/Trippy farmer has a monitoring/tracking system in his grain cart. Like you guys he loves it, very useful thing to have.
I met him at the farm profess show, great guy

We're finishing up work on the combine and should be shelling corn Tuesday morning. This will be my first harvest with the new farm job.
Happy harvest to you, enjoy

I've yet to find a tractor dealership that doesn't have a parts and service department
Well said!😂
Somes better than others
I would really like to see the blower setup on the feeder house of you combine! And was it purchased or made by you guys?
We made it
17,000 acres of corn is going to be one hell of a crop. Better get going boys 😂😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Reese, what’s a good day as far as corn acres go for one combine on your farm?
In big fields we can get 200 but that doesn’t happen often
Are you taking the corn so wet simply because you have so many acres to cover?
That’s a lot of it
I’ve got a question?? How come y’all only use 1 combine for corn ?
We need more trucks, another auger wagon and a faster leg to make it worth it.
We’ll have two running in soybeans starting today
How many total acres do you have between owning and renting.
11k
