Z Flip 4: 12 Pixel 6a: 8 iPhone 13: 15 I am an iPhone user, so I can kinda tell which one is iPhone, and some of the pictures shocked me on how the phones did.
For me, the z flip narrowly beat the iphone but the 6a was better in most situations. And tbh, portrait mode on phones is not that good yet so I really had a harder time picking between phones. But yeah, all in all, the 6a is the most versatile but if you value better, faster low light images and portrait on a smartphone, nothing beats an iphone. Just wondering, why are you comparing 2 expensive phones (Z Flip 4, iPhone 13) and one medium range phone (Google pixel 6a)? It's cool to see all this comparison, but I would prefer to see the Pixel 6 (or the pro) that is much in the same price range. Because there is like 500$ of difference between these phones.

18:00 you can adjust the exposure time for Z Flip4 as well in night mode, yellow timer icon will pop up on the bottom right (only in dark environment) and you can select either Auto or Max
Most people won't know that. Samsung should update the camera software to have the longest reasonable default exposure time. Sensible defaults are a strength of iPhones.

My eyes are so accustomed to iPhone pics… I got most of the pictures right for iphones (bad and good pics). But lemme just say!!! Flip and pixel not bad!!
My results, z flip (11), iPhone (15), pixel (7). I’m really impressed with the z flip but disappointed in two things, I’m really disappointed that vadim didn’t take selfies using the cover screen feature because I know some of the selfies would look brighter (and better), also really disappointed about the flips night mode, horrible for a literal galaxy phone. coming from a z flip 3 user
Samsung processing is full of life and good at selfies portraits Pixel is good at zoom and architecture photography iphone 13 processing ( aka smart hdr 4 ) can catch in some scenarios but definitely not the best in photography anymore.
Great video as always, really loving these comparisons.. Few things to notice in flip. The flip can be placed with the flap open (self tripod) Exposer time can be increased 30 seconds atleast (the max I reached) There is this button on bottom right side in night mode, you have to select 'max' Wanted go check that compared to iPhones 30 sec and pixels 6 min.. I found pixel better for skin tone, day light and astrophotography.
the flip is more expensive!!! do the others fold??
flip is not for photography, z flip is for convenience, a compact smartphone, not everyone needs photos, I can close the flip and put it in my pocket where I don’t feel it at all and it’s very cool, but for photos and videos I have Lumix, where the quality of the photo is much better than on the iPhone 13 pro max, the camera is the camera and the smartphone is the smartphone, etc. my opinion, good luck to everyone
6 more days and we will be back to 20 videos on new apple products and 20 videos on new product comparisons.
the judment might be unbiased but the at shooting part i feel like it depends so much on the person, like some of the night shots on pixel just doesnt seem right. Other than that i guess if they could fix portrait mode on pixel its pretty much a perfekt budget camera with only 350 euros.
I got
Iphone 13 = 16
Z Flip 4 = 12
Pixel 6A = 6
I don't count the last photo because of big exposure time difference.
great video ....
wait why the 6a? its like much cheaper??
Be interesting if you redo the test again but with the iPhone 14 and the flip
My eyes are so accustomed to iPhone pics… I got most of the pictures right for iphones (bad and good pics).
But lemme just say!!! Flip and pixel not bad!!
My results, z flip (11), iPhone (15), pixel (7). I’m really impressed with the z flip but disappointed in two things, I’m really disappointed that vadim didn’t take selfies using the cover screen feature because I know some of the selfies would look brighter (and better), also really disappointed about the flips night mode, horrible for a literal galaxy phone. coming from a z flip 3 user
i have doubts ..cause i use iPhone 13 ..once i compare night shots from pixel2 and iphone 13 .. actually pixel got more detail and light
My scores-
iPhone 13-17
Z Flip 4-11
Pixel 6a- 7
17:21 still left and right shots didn't capture the blue light while the center one does.
You guys are definitely bias. I have both the iPhone 13 pro, regular 13 and the zflip 4. The zflip camera is definitely on par with the iphone
Very smart way to generate comments ..
the girl in the center keeps staring straight into the camera into my soul.
Samsung processing is full of life and good at selfies portraits
Pixel is good at zoom and architecture photography
iphone 13 processing ( aka smart hdr 4 ) can catch in some scenarios but definitely not the best in photography anymore.
iPhone - 799$ - 16
Pixel 6a - 449$ - 10
Z-Flip - 1000$ - 9
(New Prices)
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!
Did Samsung remove night mode from the Flip 4 camera because I have a s21+ and can get brighter pics and videos at night
Can you please do comparison with OnePlus 9RT? plzz...plzz...
With the fact that the phone can fold into the half, the battery life and camera quality is not that bad on flip4.
Shouldn't you be comparing them with a pixel 6/6 pro?
Naaahhh… they are jus Isheep and part of Apple’s PR team.
Great video as always, really loving these comparisons..
Few things to notice in flip.
The flip can be placed with the flap open (self tripod)
Exposer time can be increased 30 seconds atleast (the max I reached)
There is this button on bottom right side in night mode, you have to select 'max'
Wanted go check that compared to iPhones 30 sec and pixels 6 min..
Keep up with the great work 👌
iPhone: 14
Z Flip: 13
Pixel: 8
