I’ve had my Hellcat Pro for about five months. 1,100 rounds and no malfunctions so far. My only complaint is the springs in the 15 round mags are super stiff.
Great review man! Have to back Springfield though, the Illinois legislature proposed a law that a lobbying firm for Springfield backed. Springfield immediately fired the offending lobbying firm.
I bought a Hellcat Pro back when they had one of their gear up promotions. I’m a self proclaimed Smith & Wesson guy, but I’ve always had good experiences with Springfield Armory handguns. My only complaint about the Pro is that I wish the trigger was a little better. I’m one of the guys who has no problem putting a trigger kit from Apex, Powder River, Overwatch or MCARBO in a gun to make me like or more. I just put the Overwatch kit in the Pro over the weekend, it’s an improvement. I need to get to the range and see what I really think!
It's my main carry pistol. I still carry my Shield Plus, MC9 and OG Hellcat but mostly it's the MC9. Have an apex trigger, Holosun 407k, TLR7sub and Werkz holster. It shoots great. I shoot it it the best or my EDCs. Of my pistols close to its size I shoot only my PDP compact better. It's a great gun in my opinion.
No ftf issues with the MC9? I’ve been looking at that or main summer carry. Have seen quite a few negatives about ftf, return to battery, and light strikes.
I got the hellcat pro with the 2023 gear up last month and I love it. I added the Holosun 407K with green dot since I have a stigmatism. Added a True Precision extended threaded barrell with the Strike Industries Micro quad compensator. It handles like a dream.
I held the Hellcat Pro in a gun store yesterday nearby my work. It felt lovely. The trigger though makes me have second thought. If it’s just like the Springfield XD trigger when I shoot it (once I rent the Hellcat Pro), I guess it shouldn’t be bad. I just do not want to make too much effort trying to squeeze the trigger to the point I lose aim. I am very accurate with the XD btw but I do not like the trigger. I also held the S&W M2.0 yesterday and it felt as good ergonomically but trigger felt a lot lighter.
He said Recommend going the range and trying it out Man i bought it just cause of great it feels compared to other ones reviews are of the chart i pulled the trigger on the purchase because man its so dam beautiful i know its a sig copy car but man it looks a lil nicer to me
I kid you not, because of the name itself for marketing in a sea of competition that only does a letter followed by a random number. The Hellcat even without a Dodge connection only needed to be decent in order to sell itself. Even the average person would just buy in face value for cool name association.
That’s a good point, the 365’s have so many variants I have no idea what means what. The hellcat is simple. They did pretty well on the echelon naming too compared to the SA-35

100% agree, the mag springs are stiff
Maglula
Thousands of rounds through my Hellcat version 1. Never a failure. Using open sights. No optics. My fav EDC.
Out of the micros so far it was my favorite I think, but I am looking to grab an ltt px4 compact
