A lot of people like memory pads. They always think of how it puts your thumb where it needs to be for recoil. And how it tells where to put your finger for keeping it off the trigger. Here's another added benefit. Point sighting. Pointing with your finger is one of the most natural, intuitive, instinctive actions that we can do. Point your finger at something. You're usually on target, or very close to it. Now, when you're drawing, or coming out of the holster, where is your finger supposed to be? Pointing in line with the barrel. Point aiming. Practice, it's a valuable skill folks. 👍
I have both of these. The Sig is nice, but when the weather gets hot (southern AZ) and my Glock 32 is too large to easily conceal under just a T shirt, I grab the Hellcat Pro. To me, the trigger feels similar to my Glocks. It has been 100% reliable with every type of ammo that I have run through it including Underwood +P ultimate defender. And the U notch rear sight is very easy and fast for my eyes to find & shoot accurately (at the range). And hand size groups under very quick times are easy. SA has a winner with the Pro.
Not related to the video, but i just got an FN REFLEX and its awesome. Its great as you said and I wouldnt have gotten it if it werent for your videos on it. Its a great shooter and is perfect for my pocket and deep concealment carry. Thank you for the videos! Id love to see more of the reflex just cuz. Keep up the awesome work!
Bought mine and unless you grab the slide hard asf and slam it back hard and let go the rounds always got jammed and nosedive. Like the slide was too light. I’m sure shooting it a bit could have fixed it but wasn’t worth it to me. The grip was just waaaaayyyy to small like Glock 43 small or smaller…
I'm in Commifornia, deciding between P365 vs Hellcat Pro.. My usual carry is P320 m18, Glock19 & PX4 with Hornady Self defense rounds. Holsters are Rounded concealment, T.Rex & We the People.
I'll grant you the the brand preferences, no problem there, also you clearly have way more experience than many people on your channel, Including me (I'm a relatively new shooter, only about 3.5 years) I do get the point you're making on this video but I guess I don't get the idea of comparing one gun, (heavily modified) to another, it seems unproductive I guess. Now mind you, I'm not against molding a gun, just doing it in a comparison of two guns is not really a comparison. Now if you compared the modded one to a stock model of the same brand, that would be great (more beneficial) to viewers, I think. One last thing, I was shooting today with a buddy at his farm, I took both of my Sigs, a X-Ten and a P938, both had about 250 - 300 rounds threw them, all FMJ. Flat nose threw the X-Ten, round nose threw the P938., so today I used hollow points for the first time in each gun, Federal 115 JHP in the P938 and Fiocchi Defense Dynamics 180 jhp threw the X-Ten. Zero issues with either pistol. The interesting part was loading the first round in each chamber, I used the slide release in both guns and they both nose dived on that round only so I ejected, reloaded and "slingshoted" each and they chambered perfectly! After that they both ran perfectly. Neither pistol was cleaned after the last range trip about 2 weeks ago, I just made sure the both had lube. Sorry for the long comment but I get a bit long winded after a adult beverage I guess. Anyway when you showed the "double feed ramp" on the Hellcat I had to comment! Great video, thanks for sharing! 👍👍
The Hellcat Pro is the only gun I consider to be EXCELLENT that needs no modifications. I have the Sig 365 Macro Tacops and Glock 43x which both for me needed modifications. The Hellcat grip and sights are the best ever.
Carrying a FN 509 MRD compact with a RMR and Speer gold dot ammo currently but am looking at picking up a HC Pro here shortly. Seems to be a nice carry option.
Good comparison. I’m a recent convert to the P365. I like the modularity concept but think I’m going to acquire an XL or Macro also just because…. Then when I got a couple of FCUs I’ll play with the modularity. I have a couple of holsters; a Safariland ALS paddle for ranges that prefer sting side OWB for training and a JM Custom Kydex for everything else.
I carrying a 43x with Overwatch precision FALX trigger, Holosun 407k, Zaffiri Precision barrel, tyrant cnc magwell & plus 4 mag extension. I love it, shoots flat for me and super reliable.
@@SirDadbod I agree those earlier metal Sigs were good but still not on the value side. An Arex Rex0 costs half the price and offers the same or better precision in build quality.
These are 2 fantastic firearms. They match up well when comparing same style guns. I like this comparison but I don’t like when people try to compare these with the Glock 43x because I personally believe that both of these guns are much better than the Glock.

I just picked up a 365xl yesterday. So far I’m not liking the trigger on it compared to my Hellcat pro, it’s not as crisp. And it feels narrower as well. But both are great guns to have
Great Build! Do your build with a Sig P365 x macro tacops version (size) with either the Icarus Precision or Mischef Machine Grip Modules??? The Sig Legion Series grip modules should become available soon, I hope! That would be cool too! I can't wait to see how you decide to go with your Sig P365 build! What is the time frame when you plan to start? As always, Love your videos and content...
Aren't you just TOTALLY, rebuilding the 365 from the bottom up I mean you going to buy a 365 for 600 bucks then turn around and spend 1000 dollars,on it ?? Really dude and if the hellcat was as good as you say it is then there would be no need for any other guns.
My Hellcat black Nitride finish did not hold up AT ALL to holster wear: in your video Ucacted like it was very durable, but I disagree. I love the Hellcat itself though. I have an XDs 3.3 9mm that’s a bi-tone and I carried it about 5yrs until I got the Hellcat when it was first released and the stainless finish on their held up AMAZING!!!!! It still looks brand new and has been carried actually more than my Hellcat, by about 1 yr.
@@spnfirearms just bought my hellcat pro, my first gun! I pick it up soon and already have a list of like 10 upgrades😂 I’m taking peoples advice to shoot it first and see what I need, but I was thinking of only functional upgrades first like apex trigger, lakeline llc recoil spring and striker, talon grips etc. what would you say it the most important upgrades or things you noticed the hellcat needs help with? All I hear is people complaining about recoil so is that something I really need to tackle with upgrades?
SC Elite is my daily. Right now, my only. It's a thick guy compared to the newer 1.5 stack pistols, but it feels really good in the hand. Not as thick as some of the older full sized guns. About the same as a VP9 or even closer to a P99. Which was considered to be quite compact, in it's day. Points well, shoots amazing groups (match grade barrel combined with gungasmic trigger) and with 124 grain ammo, it's a pretty soft shooter. Takes all the magazines of his bigger brothers, wide variety of holsters, and the price is really, really good. Just be careful of the Bronze ones. I've seen two of those, with the cerakote flaking off. Not saying they're ALL bad, but bad batches happen in any and every industry. I have zero regrets with my SC elite, and trust it implicitly.
If your round nose dives, you need a new magazine. I feel like that would make it so people wouldn’t know when they need to replace their mag spring or whole mag. Maybe I’m not understanding why they’d do that? Anyone that works for SCCY, y’all need to take notes in the double feed ramps.
Love my og hellcat just a lil snappy imo. Accurate as can be tho and nothing a little training can’t fix. Been considering the hellcat pro but have also just been wanting to build out a Glock 19. Not sure if I’d love shooting the pro if I don’t exactly love shooting the og
I went from sig to hell at and personally I’m regretting it since hellcat your stuck with the plastic frame and sig u have more freedom with changing the slide and frame. Really wish there was a metal version frame for hellcat
I've shot them all and majority side-by-side. It's all subjective. I love the Hellcat design, but it shoots like crap for me. That goes for both. If I had to choose, I'm going with the Sig p365XL. Again, shoot them for yourself and make your own decisions.
Croatia can’t even protect itself. I’ll elaborate. Serbia. Rocks Croatia so badly the UN and nato had to get involved because Croatia can’t defend itself. Good lord…
Your 365xl is optics ready?? So..... what??? Haha!! It's the older style where you lose the rear site but it is optics ready. Plate comes off with screws from the inside of the slide on the old ones. Hard to take your review seriously when you miss such a big feature. Also, FYI, all p365 x models are optics ready.
Good video however you keep referring to the thumb on your support hand is used to fight recoil. NO! Just no. That’s NOT what your support hand thumb is used for. It’s stability and rotational support if your have to rotate your wrist with your shooting hand.
