Considering that much of Star Wars is supposed to have been told by R2 keeping all that Data in his Drives, it's implied this episode is something he remembers vividly for that very reason.

Republic: and that offended me
Reasons why I worship them:
1)Unlike many droids (including the more recognized C-3PO) these droids had their own ideas: They fooled a tactical droid and a security squadron with believable lies (an ordinary droid would have just malfuncioned) or given a stupid reason.
Also they faked betraying R2 in order to decieve the separatists. (and their reward was just a bump in the leg from R2)
2)They were as honorable as a droid can be: When they were insulted by C-3PO (for no real reason) they just acknowledged it and continued following orders. They also sacrificed themselves with no second thoughts even though their "general" didn't seem to care. "All for one and one for a..."
3)They are actually useful in combat: the leader (OOM-10) shot a battle droid in record time (for a B1) and one of them was shot by a turret and survived. Not to mention that they knew when to shoot and when not to (when the commando droids appeared they just focused in protecting R2). Also in the scene where they die there are many destroyed commando droids in the floor.
(defeating a commando droid is enough to worship someone)
4)They were treated as scrap the whole time and were never acknowledged. (as Geestly said before )
. The clones doubted their usefulness the whole time (Echo: We are trusting THOSE droids to get us there)

.They were insulted by C-3PO for no real reason
. R2 just called them "His troops" and didn't seem to care about their deaths (he literally just told them to stay behind)
. Anakin was also responsable for their deaths (he almost diretcly ordered R2 to get them killed)

Totally agreed they weren't typical B1s either that didn't resort to stupidity like they normally do when shit hits the fan or at risk of being discovered. Also I don't want to sound sexist to fem bots. But was it that the only tactical droid be easily fooled happened to be the only female tactical droid that i am aware. I am also pretty sure the actress plays Asoka Tano to which much like Anakin she became very skilled and crafty in even bringing shame to some of the more experienced tactical droids lol.
Also I found the tactical droid she played was rather bland even for tactical droid standards.
I also didn't think for a tactical droid she had a lot of same egos as other tactical droids. But she didn't seem as observant as other tactical droids and when she did clue in it was kinda too little too late.
But again nothing against the voice actress either I think shes did wonderful acting job. I just think maybe the writers were like lets just make a rather inept and bland tactical droid.
But they Didn't tell her before hand that the tactical droid she was to voice was to even make the tactical droid in the tank on ryloth look like a genius before the Twiliks slaves revolted and ripped him to shreds.
And giving another reason for other tactical droid to say basically say fuck this shit I am out before his eventual abandonment of Wat Tambor lol.
Also I think that Admiral Trenchs Tactical droid Kent was like the only one I felt bad for. Since he was one of the few tactical droids that actual focused and new the risks without getting to technical or let his ego get the better of him. While at the same time being berated by trench for not doing what he wanted but he couldn't actual bring the shields back to full power because they still were on recharge and trench wouldn't listen to his concerns and at least try to take evasive action. I get the missiles he fired at the stealth ship were fast but even the most experienced admiral would try to have a plan b for shit like that or least try and take the hits on less vital areas of the ship such as the hull armour itself instead of the bridge maybe.
I am also not trying to denounce the achievement of the battle droids for fooling a tactical droid to. I am just think had it been a different droid they might have not fooled them so easily. As I seen other Tactical Droids give the all clear on simple producers such as being permitted to land in CIS bases at least do further security checks ones the shuttle has landed just to make sure they weren't republic spies or any kind of security threat. I am sure even General Grevious would have to be cleared through security check points and I am sure he wouldn't be to happy about it. And the tactical droid would have to reassure to the General that is for his safety and other CIS i ranking leaders making sure the republic didn't have spies stowing away on his personal shuttle or have tracking device planted on it lol.

I personally believe that R2-D2 remembered them the most and, if given a reasonable opportunity, would’ve left some sort of memorial at the spot where they were . . .
Considering these episodes are all within R2's memory banks, as George Lucas basically said that Much of Star Wars' story is Due to R2 being there for the events and never having his memory wiped (Episode one starts off from Naboo, the place where R2 was built, for a Reason), this may have been a bigger memorial than you'd think.
I mean, R2 may have actually portrayed himself as a Betrayer of his own Troops, out of Guilt that he left them to be Destroyed.

Those three musketeers droids what are definitely my favorite B1 droids in the entire clone wars and I honor the service is redeemable protagonist as well as the Droid Heroes of the Republic!
R2-D2’s battle droids aka one of the most underrated Star Wars characters they were coming to think about it the highlight of the citadel arc next to Tarkin appearing. Also another of the million reasons why R2-D2 is better than BB-8, R2-D2 had his own battle droids.

Those droids were truly amazing. At the end they recited the 3 musketeers "all for one and one for all" line as well. These droids are truly worth celebrating.
Aw dude, I've always been a fan of the droid's look - their goofy nature was just an extra. Those episodes were just like pure bliss to me. I specially loved the droid 'leader's' face paint. Just as customizable as the clone's armor paintjobs.

Did you know that one of the 3 droids was destroyed in the battle to retake the shuttle but there are again 3 droids to sacrifice themselves at the end....
This episode arc had many inconsistencies like that. The number of armoured and un-armoured clones also fluctuated.
I didn’t notice the droid being destroyed but did however notice the clones

The unarmored clones are clone POWs who had their armor taken away, probably so they could be easier to shoot.

I remembered then and even wondered when they didn’t do this sooner, I’m sure they could of even made them smarter and given them more upgrades since they might of been specialize units, instead of mass-produced like the CIS.

I made a Garry’s Mod server and had these Droids and R2D2 in it and they were a hit 😂 I love their story and couldn’t resist.
When they died I was like why is it when B1s are badasses its when they are captured and used by the republic lol. Like I can truly understand why General Grevious needed to let off steam by decapitated some of his B1 one Battle Droids.
If I were the CIS I would have looked into designing a B2 Commander class Battle Droid. And I would make its personality tough as nails. Being like alright listen up you B1 maggots I don't care if your programming is dumber than a mynok when i am done with you B1s your gonna functioning like well oiled machine lol. If I here any back sass out of you I will personal beat your bucket of bolt ass in front of General Grevious for his personal entertainment. Any questions ! B1s no sir all shout. Alright then thats what I expected.
Each of you will be assigned to a B2 Drill Sargent/ Instructor and if any one you act of line I have personally given them my permission to your sorry asses life hell. Dismissed !
Then B1 one commander droid is like wow they never listen to my orders or listen to me period. B2 Commander Droid that's because they don't respect your authority they just see you as one them with just a yellow paint strip. Okay they don't fear consequences because you don't lead by example your to passive lack confidence and grit. When one does or says something stupid you got give them a smack across the old processor you gotta show them why your in charge. You also gotta be able to promote any of your droid soldiers when they fight with gallantry for the CIS. They will respect your more and can be extension of your command if you allow them to punish unruly B1 grunts accordingly then they are enforcing your command by having your back. Also setting up a seniority system of sort with in those B1 nco ranks means one them can be left in charge when your not present during training.
B1 battle droid commander I never thought of it like that its no wonder why Super Battle Droids seem react accordingly in situations. B2 commander also your default programming seems to be limited leadership processing I recommend you have your programming upgraded it is available to all B1 command droids you just need to get recommendation from your nearest tactical droid to see your qualify . But the only catch is you have meet with an auxiliary tactical droid to help with the application process because its kinda a lot to process. It can be boring or dull or it can useful and informative.
B1 commander: I never thought of that good to know.

B1: grunt Sir Yes sir! Only one problem I am reservist B1 where we get minimal training and its at random and inconsistent schedules.

given that, imagine what could have happened if R2 managed to make himself a larger squad of droids, and with some B2s. that would have been glorious
Something I think is best to say about these three battle droids, I believe they were pilots, they have the same blue paint job, the one with the full blue face-paint must've been a pilot commander or something, could explain why the security battle droids in red were easily convinced to hand the prisoners over to the pilots. Higher rank and all that
I just love how they have blue markings which I think is amazing because blue Battle droids weren’t shown again in the clone wars until episode 3

We, Will, Remember Those Battle Droids
I always remembered them because they were so helpful but the writers killed them immediately. Did any of them get a single kill in that cliff fight? They deserved a valiant last stand scene. At least 3 minutes of footage.
