Commander Thorn and his battalion deserve a special place in the heroes of the clone wars, he singlehandedly covered Padme's escape when the homeworld of the Banking clan was invaded by the separatists
He also singlehandedly killed an -alleged war criminal in self defense and hunted down a rogue Jedi!- killed a crap ton of battle droids! -Fox- thorn is the best clone no one should say any different Edit: I misread the comment. These guys were trained from birth to go and fight in the harshest conditions, scariest Separatist Droids, and possibly die in blaze of glory. I actually empathies with them rather than hate them. They were heavily manipulated by palpatine arguably more than other clones. They are truly a tragic case of the clone wars and I feel sorry for every single trooper who was in that unit.

Woah, woah, woah, despise the Courascaunt guard? I love those guys, their armor is sick all their Commander,s, Thor, Fox and Hound are all awesome, badass and all have sick armor. These guys are also my favorite because of their major role in the battle of Courascaunt.
I like how most of the hate Coruscant Guard gets from fans is because of Fox who killed Fives for aiming a gun at him and his team. There is also the misunderstanding he had with Ashoka being the one who killed his men and killed a prisoner. Most of the things Fox is hated for are because of the hard calls he had to make to protect others and follow orders.
True that, plus with commanders like Neyo or Bacara who couldn't give less of a damn of who died under their command really shows some of Fox's good points. The dude actually got mad when he saw what he thought was Ahsoka killing his men. Plus the Fives incident in which he was *explicitly* ordered by Palatine to kill what he believed was a mentally deranged rogue clone. Fox even gave Fives a few warnings to drop his gun when charging at him, giving him the chance to surrender. And if he hadn't he felt like his men were at risk of being shot.

Assigning clones to prison guard duty has always struck me as a gross misallocation of limited manpower. Did the Republic suddenly not have trained personnel at any level?
Commander Thorn and his unit deserve recognition as an exception to these horrible Shock Troopers list, since they bravely fought to the death to save Padme and refused to attempt to flee staying and fighting down to the last man who happened to be Thorn himself, what a heroic and cruel way for him and his brave battalion to die, but at least they died with honor, unlike Fox

the main issue isn't the soldiers they're just following orders and if they disobeyed, you were shot. No the issue stems from the fact that A their upper command is corrupt and B they were kepted in a high stress area for too long and should of been rotated out with other regiments more frequently.

the main issue isn't the soldiers they're just following orders and if they disobeyed, you were shot. No the issue stems from the fact that A their upper command is corrupt and B they were kepted in a high stress area for too long and should of been rotated out with other regiments more frequently.
