This was a great video, you shouldn't have worried about posting this video Mel, at the end of the day this is your job and people need to remember that, you help us make good purchase decisions and help save us money, i would love to have a job like yours but i watch these channels to help me with my makeup, see reviews if am thinking of purchasing something and just because i love makeup and you always put a smile on my face, so if anyone has a problem they need to get over themselves but me personally i wouldn't no what i would have done without all my TH-cam family, i love you Mel 😍

I hate the fact that beauty youtubers need to make disclaimers that they have a lot of makeup. Not only is it none of our business what a person spends their money on, but reviewing makeup will create a collection. I've been waiting for this!!! Love you Mel! 😍

Right! Anyone familiar with these TH-camrs should expect extreme collections. Which is why we average people love them.
Yes, and were the ones asking to see products reviewed, we cant ask youtubers to buy products to review from us and expect them not to accumulate alot of stuff.
I completely agree! And the so called “big” beauty gurus- when I say big I mean with over a million followers - are gifted SO MUCH FREE MAKEUP and it sometimes makes me angry because to me, I feel like they don’t really appreciate it, they basically expect it! Then they just collect more and let it sit there! 😠 and when you see them declutter their makeup collection, they are never used, or used once, or have doubles and triples of each and didn’t even know! Then when you look at how much they actually have and for free, it’s literally thousands of dollars and they just throw it away or gift the unused stuff to their families. But I literally watched a declutter of a well known “big guru” (She has a little over 4million subs that lost a couple million due to a certain other Guru PERSON) and when I saw how much makeup she had I was like OMGGGGOOODNESS!!! it had to be at least $50,000 worth of makeup!!! And you know she bought only Nothing! Jk jk (kinda) but bought probably like $2-3 grand. That job is much easier for them where as you still get PR from certain companies but you can definitely tell that you are always grateful. I consider myself one of those people that can tell if they are nice or full of crap 💩 , I digress. Anyhow, the amount of makeup she had was something I don’t think I could acquire or accumulate for maybe 5 years and that’s if I used all of my left over money monthly for nails &pedicures, 3 month haircuts would go to growing my hair out and trimming it myself lol, no more shopping for clothes at the mall. I’d be at Walmart and Target. Shoot I’d go to Goodwill instead. You’d be surprised what you find there! Things with tags still on there! You catch my drift lol. But it’s a hard job I’ll give them that. Once you “F” up in this community it’s like a conspiracy and like it’s a full on homicide investigation. People are harsh. I can never see that happening with you tho. Even when you get 5 million subscribers, I know you’d never give up your dignity for free PR, and you’d never talk crap about anyone and can’t ever picture you in some dumb stupid scandal. 🙄 you’ve come out with a wonderful makeup palette that I’m going to have to purchase another one of maybe 2 more just to be sure that I don’t run out of it and one I keep for collecting purposes lol but no scandalous talk or anything. Why can’t these other gurus have a successful launch the first time? The first time you do one, it was GREAT! No issues here except that I don’t have enough. Anyhoo, Gnite Mrs. Beautiful Puffin. I’m SOOOOO happy I just happen to come across your channel one day and that was when you had a little over 30,000 subscribers! And I watch your videos every day (if you uploaded- once in a blue moon there won’t be a video, but no big deal. ) first lol and ahhhhh every time you review something my husband is like oh no 🤦🏻♂️, what now lol what are you going to buy??? Hehehehe and I’ve purchased a lot of stuff you have in your collection lol. I just need to get some brushes from BK Beauty (hope I spelled it correct) Rephr , Sonia G and Wayne Goss and not to mention the makeup I need to get. Love your channel!!!🥰🥰🥰 keep doing what you’re doing! You have a wonderful aura/disposition (sounds weird- but I want to say personality but I don’t know you personally, so I’m not sure what the word is to describe your great vibe?) All I know is that I can see me being friends with you because you seem like you have a great personality lol if that makes sense. Anyhoo bye bye beauty!!!

My heart breaks all over whenever her videos pops back up but I'm happy for it. We need to keep her spirit alive and help keep her videos going.
The ones where she replied to my comments (like this one) sting, too, because she was such a sweet person. I'm rewatching so much, not only because her videos are still an amazing resource, but also I miss how just honestly lovely she was.

I think this was my favorite video of Mel's. I loved her makeup collection, ( I bought quite a few things based on what she had in her collection and her opinion on it) and I loved hearing her happy voice. She was one of the first TH-camrs I started watching when I got back into makeup. I'm going to miss seeing her on TH-cam 😢💔♥️

She was my go-to, the sole person I trusted for an honest review. Wow, I am just now realizing how much she *truly* impacted my love for makeup. OMG to be honest I am afraid of my makeup collection I just bought my last 2 Motherships from Pat McGrath during her 25% off. I need more storage space and I do not think I can ever use all the makeup I have currently but I love every item I have 💗💗💗other than that I have several foundations and a ton of skincare so I am not doing too mad

The disclaimers you tubers feel they have to give us crazy to me. Why do people still talk crap about someone’s makeup collection? That’s their business. I’m not a TH-camr and my makeup collection is quite extensive. People be like why do you have so much. My response: that’s MY business.

I think it may be more that the title is influencer, people want to emulate them and she's just saying she's not flexing or being an influence but being honest and giving us a glimpse at her world, that's just how I interpreted it though

This was so enjoyable to listen to while cleaning & watching for my favorite categories. I love the fingerprints on the makeup, "bc you use it". I feel like that too bc I know I don't use everything I have everyday. But it's there when I want to use it. 🕷🦋🦂
