Good cell culture practices dictate that animal cells be grown without contamination by advantageous agents. Hopefully good technique, and not the use of antibiotics contribute to successful culture but sometimes things can go wrong. I want to culture primary goat oviductal epithelial cells but i always got bacterial contamination. Is the oviduct tract home of natural microbes?
