I know this video is a couple years old, but I thought I would comment this for anyone looking at this video in 2023 like I am. There is a factory plug in for the spoiler light on the wiring harness of every model corolla (verified on my 2010 CE). There is a white clip that you can see the bottom of through the second layer of the trunk lid by the far right side cut out for wiring. if you twist that clip out, it reveals the factory plug. there is no need to cut into/splice other break light lines to power the spoiler!
great video though! this was very helpful for me to get mine installed!

@@BrandonStellmach i honestly only noticed it because my roommate who was with me said to check. I assumed it wouldnt sense there were multiple diffrent wiring harnesses for the 10th gens, so no reason for the CE to have it, but low and behold! Very glad I found this out before I put mine on. Didnt see anything about this online anywhere

im so sorry I didnt see your comment until now. if you still need it I can go take a picture for you! Its just behind the liner in the trunk lid and is held out of view by a clip on the right hand side. if you feel around for it in the openings there you should be able to find it!@@fredito3259

It’s pretty straight forward, the only hard part that I didn’t show on camera was trying to take apart all the trim in the back to get to the light. Once you find the 3rd brake light wires, you will just put the wires together with the wire taps and you should be all good to go.

My problem was finding a Corolla S in a manual was very hard. So I settled with a base model with a manual. And added all the S trim features!

I’m sorry but you can’t make corollas look aggressive in anyway

      Gives it personality. Good enough.
