When you are looking for a new job or promotion, aside from your resume, there is nothing more crucial than having a portfolio that accurately shows what you are capable of and what you have already accomplished.
However, often times you are faced with roadblocks. One of the more thorny barriers to creating a comprehensive portfolio is those non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) you were required to sign for many clients.
However, when it comes to presenting your portfolio or work samples, with a little planning and creativity, you can create a great portfolio that showcases your achievements while overcoming NDA limitations.

"I'm sorry, but I can't provide work samples because of NDAs or privacy clauses." Well, if you've ever repeated these words during an interview, you're not alone, but guaranteed 100% of decision-makers everywhere agree, it's time to retire that answer.
And instead, try a few creative solutions for demonstrating your key accomplishments. When visually arranging your portfolio or work samples. Start by asking, "What do my clients really want to know about me or my brand?"
Number one on that list is they want to see proof that you've solved similar challenges at organizations just like theirs. So for each project, it's important to state the high-level project issues, actions implemented to address those challenges, the quantifiable results generated from those actions, and of course, don't forget to mention any tools and methodologies used.
Another competitive strategy is to remember to highlight things like industry, company size, and whether or not the organization is global or domestic. After you've decided how to arrange your content, now it's time to ask yourself, what's the most engaging way to showcase my work?
Keeping in mind the behaviors and attention span of adult learners. Here, you should consider using best-in-class design, animation, or video tools to tell the story behind each project.
