I feel it now. I'm a project manager and it took me 7 months I have yet to get a job in this recession.
The first it's been this difficult to find a job in my field i've been ghosted , given false hopes from recruiters. I've accepted that I won't be able to get back in my field currently, now i'm searching for any labor job that will give me a chance.
This is very depressing and has taken a toll on my mental health , and my pride.
all i can do is laugh because it's ludicrous

As a job seeker for last 2 months and not being able to convert the applications into call this video is helpful and stopping me for feeling bad for myself. It's not that I don't have relevant experience or the certifications that are required for the market, its the market itself being too tight.

I’m really suffering right now. Applied to hundreds of jobs with no response. It’s hard to find even a minimum wage in my city while I’m attending uni. Family is acting like I’m lazy and don’t want a job when I’ve been trying so hard. 😢

I am in a strange scenario. My COO told me I was getting a promotion, announced it, and right before my review HR stepped in and put me on a PIP because of “my personality”. They screened me with 5 peers and only one had anything negative to say in that regard. I’m kind of embarrassed and frustrated….. would love to hear what your thought are.

It’s not just people quiet quitting, it’s also them realizing that even with better pay, the jobs themselves are not fulfilling to them. For example, Jesus was once a carpenter but eventually He moved onto greater more important work, even if it didn’t financially pay more.
