If you compare it to a washing machine, then the price would be an issue. Especially that robo vacuums that can mop has no connection to water source and drainage either.
Those are people that their time isn’t worth anything. If your time is worth putting towards your grind rather than mopping your floors $1500 for a machine that does both is one of the best deals you ever have
People undervalue their time. It's the most precious thing in our lives. I'll gladly buy once and cry once again to save the few hours a week I typically have to run a wet swiffer pad to keep up with my dogs. Worth every penny. Blows shark out of the water. @@BMoney77 no, my dogs just go somewhere else once it approaches them. My toddlers on the other hand love to push all the button and make it go crazy 😂
Me being the person that wants to put every waking moment into my grind $1500 for something that mops and sweeps my floors is literally pennies compared to what I could be spending that time, putting my effort into. Once your time starts to become very valuable, it’s something you start to treat with respect. This machine is literally an investment for your time. People that don’t understand that will just claim it as laziness and a waste of money.
the newer ones like this one is pretty much set and forget. you have to still empty the bag but once or twice a week and in exchange you have a consistently mopped\ broomed house
This isn't even a joke.I once got hacked and one of the thins that happened was my wifi robo vacuum one day went crazy,I guess via the mapping data who ever this was started just randomly chasing me around the house and posting about it on my facebook..it was insane and lead to me taking internet security alot more seriously.
A robot like the one from iRobot would be amazing, cooking, cleaning and doing other tasks etc, if we can do this in my lifetime or not is anyones guess at this rate.
I suspect the next big thing will be robotic lawn mowers. There are a couple out there but the cost is very prohibitive. Once the tech matures and is fine tuned we will see them everywhere.
@@j0c1988I actually didn’t find that except for a mention of not doing it where you place your toothbrush. I did, though, find a warning not to do it in toilet in case an item gets caught in there. This also lead me to a note not to pour into storm drains. I’m learning today! Lol
I bought the Deebot T20 from EcoVac. I had a masive amount of trouble from the software and decided to return it. One of the things I did notice with the "self-cleaning mop pad is that it wasn't actually doing a good job. After about 4 days, I checked the docking station and found there was low standing water and floor sediment. It actually smelled in the station. So then I popped up a pad and smelled it and noticed it smelled pretty bad as well. Even though my station "washes and dries the pads" this still happened. I'm not above cleaning the station and changing my pads a few times a week, but I was surprised to see how nasty it got within 1 week. Now I am looking at upgrading to the S8 top model and wanted to know if you have any similar issues. With your S7. The deebot app is horrific causing constant software problems and the robot would lose its mind constantly and begin plowing into walls when the software acted up.
That’s amazing! I have an older model roomba 690 and I love it! I just nove it from room to room and it does all the job. :) I was not sure if I would use it or not but it makes the cleaning so much easier. While I clean and cook, Roomba does the vacuum cleaning. It’s a team work! 😎
I am about to buy my 4th robot vac. That is a problem, because I have only been using the things for around 4 years. Once was the initial sale and the next two were me thinking that Roomba was going top put out a better product with it's subsequent new "top tier" offerings. They tend to last as long as the one year warranty before they require some expensive repair that makes buying a new one the smarter move. So this time I am going with roborock. The purchase will be made when I get paid next week. Here is hoping I do not hate them a year from now as much as I hate iRobot (roomba) now.
Personally what I don’t like about it is it can’t get in the hidden spots where the dirt actually build up at so u just spend $800+ to still finish the job😂😂
It only works on 2g WiFi. I have tmobile 5g which I cannot manually switch to 2g. Hopefully I will save someone the trouble of having to return theirs like I had to 😢

Ok brother. I am looking for one for my 80 year old mother who hasn't even sent a txt in her lifetime. She hates tech and will never learn to use it. Am i able to set it up so she doesn't have to be involved with it's use at all?
