Exciting News! LUCID Has Landed on Steam! Wishlist Now: store.steampowered.com/app/2652650/LUCID/ I'm thrilled to announce that LUCID has officially made its debut on Steam, and I couldn't have done it without your incredible support! 🎉
One thing you could do for the enemies is set a small timer for each of them that changes there states. That way it counts down to 5 then walks, counts to 8 then shoots and repeats. You could also make an orbiting statement that suddenly flanks the player or a hide state that looks to avoid the player. Other then that is looks promising, keep up the good work
A big heartfelt thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave comments or even a like. Your engagement and feedback mean the world and are incredibly valuable. Your support encourages me to keep sharing and creating content. Your thoughts and insights help shape and improve what I do. So, thank you so much, you are truly amazing!
Add an option in the final game to turn the enemy sprites back to these test sprites >.< I like how goofy they look Though the buff one be kinda intimidating haha
I know its probably a wip, but for the ammo UI the rounds left in the tube/magazine should be on the left while the rounds in reserve should be on the right separated by something (think of the half life 1 UI). Also it would be cool if the bullet sprite changed to represent which round the guns fire. Otherwise looks good, I love the heart.
@@LUCID_Rokka I have been trying it out, so far I enjoy it and feel as though as there's a lot of potential, but if you don't mind I would like to ask you, where would you recommend I look for learning and getting better at it? or maybe some advice for learning. Mainly in particular I want to know how to make an fps, I am taking a course on the gquest website to learn the engine itself, but there seems to not be much on fps games.
cool! what a attractive style! Have you been doing game development before, or are you a beginner? If you are a beginner, I would like to know what tutorials you refer to. :]

The Dallas arms make the game a thousand times cooler. 👍
I recognize that Mossberg, that was a CS 1.6 model. Looks great so far.
Love the Dallas arms!

Bro this looks fantastic.
This looks awesome! Keep creating!

Looks good! Can't wait to see more.
This was exactly my idea (the prerendered viewmodel animations)
you beat me to it haha
might still try my version tho :)
Got them "AAAAGH! I NEED A MEDIC BAG!" gloves
Add an option in the final game to turn the enemy sprites back to these test sprites >.< I like how goofy they look
Though the buff one be kinda intimidating haha
This is actually a good idea.
looks sick keep it up
i know the enemies are placeholders but god if I saw that in the right context I would be shitting my pants
Man i love that, it looks so fucking awesome. How did you make the animations for the guns? Are those just 2D Animation Sprites? Keep going!
This is offering me "Blood" vibes
Those look a lot like dallas' hands and animations from the first payday game
@LuckyS7 right, but i said the first payday game
@LuckyS7 ok, that's your opinion
@LuckyS7 ok
Its your opinion
To me they look similar
looks really cool

Nice suggestions! I'll definitely keep them in mind.
Great work mate Keep it up !!
Very much appreciate it :)!
i love boomer shooters. i am so excited to see more of this.
I need a medic bag!
awesome work
This is very beautiful. In terms of the arena or environment, what style will you use? City?
this is serious sam all over again , but i still like it
Very cool. Did you make these sprites? I love how smooth the weapons are. I definitely want to see what else you do with this.
Looks really good, also the hands remind me of payday 2 for some reason.
Also what engine do you use?
Thanks :)! This is the Godot game engine, 3.5.2 to be exact. Would highly recommend to give it a try.

add pixelation by limiting the amount of pixels on the screen and disabling antialiasing, it'll look better
is it Medic Bag man (Dallas)
dope !
Wait,is that payday hand?
Did you animate the gun then render it?
Looks solid.
Thanks my men
I love the viewbob! Most modern games lack bobbing which ruins the immersion a lot
Nope….crap comment I always turn it off. Having it on ruins immershen for me
@@dongvermine what the hell is immershen
@@dongvermineimpossible
it’s disorienting but to each their own
@@bwah9481 this view bob is quite exaggerated like he's doing the so called lunges every step. He must stay fit in order to survive the evil creatures
cool! what a attractive style!

ayo I recognize that shotgun and those animations lmao 👀
punching looks a little too like knocking on a door
Nice vid
I don't want to be a bummer, but wouldn't a consistent pixel rate like a lesser sample or even screen size be more pleasing?. If not also great
cs:s shotgun, sick
Counter strike source shotgun?
did you do the fist animations (you get what I mean) in Gmod? It looks pretty similar haha.
Cool 😮
cool. I hope famas will make it to the final
weapons are looking great, i like blue color of hero's skin, but enemies are the most scary shit i ever see
is that dallas?
Weapons look prerendered. Are you using sprites or have you managed to get a good looking doom style shader to render them?
3d to 2d, easyli in blender
Its some gmod workshop weapons but without the background
Wheres the tutorial..
What resolution the game is ?
will u be able to dream
Payday 4?
The Flashlight on the shotgun elongates ans stretches when it is pumped. Immersion ruined
Payday 4
Look like payday 2 viewmodel
payday
why are pixelated versions of payday 2 models in a boomer shooter
Because I needed a placeholder :)
