- I hope these games & projects will inspire you and show what is possible with the Godot Engine.
This is the SEMIFINAL ROUND of the Godot Game of the Year Tournament. Vote for your favorite *THREE* games to move on to the semifinal round.
**Cruel was included due to my error in the numbering in Round 4. Vote was close enough to include it.

#godot #godotengine #godot4
I vote for 9 (Road to Vostok) because it's the game that really showed me that it's not the engine, it's the developer that makes a game look good.
I vote for 6 (Engine Roar) Because it looks cool
I vote for 1 (Cruel) Because I love retro themed games and it looks fast and hectic, just how I like my shooters
I couldn't believe my eyes that how good was road to Vostok looking and it was made in Godot.
I vote for :
1. Cruel
8. Boss Scene Demo by Devmar
9. Road to Vostok
Riad
Road to Vostok?
@@Deliveredmean42 I know, I'm just some random person on the internet fulfilling their obligation to point out spelelling errors to other random people on the internet. Care to join me?
1. #3: Mechanic 8230 -- the artstyle is so beautiful and i'm a sucker for that style of adventure games lol.
2. #9: Road to Vostok -- it's premise gives me S.T.A.L.K.E.R vibes, love it.
3. #5: Runa & The Chaikuru Legacy -- the South American inspired aesthetic is really cool and I dig what looks like a mix of puzzle/action/3D platformer elements.
(honestly all of these games are so cool and glad there's so many in Godot being developed)
I will vote for #1 Cruel, #3 Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot, and #6 Engine Roar
Oh, awesome! Thank you for including Of Life and Lands in the list and showcasing Godot games
Great work!
I don't care who wins, the fact that there are so many great games made with Godot is so inspiring on it's own!
#1 #7 and #9. Cool competition, thank you StayAtHomeDev!
#1, #4 and #9 please. I love the diversity and quality of all games presented.
Also special thanks to you StayAtHomeDev for making this "competition".
3, 8, 9.
BTW, according to the last Patreon devlog, Road To Vostok is now 85% ported to Godot from Unity. The dev is totally committed and a true professional.
#5, #6 & #8 The Boss scene demo just can't be beat but I hope we see a full game from them
4, 5, and 9. all visually impressive and polished.
#5 Runa & the Chaikuru Legacy
#7 Of Life and Land
#9 Road to Vostok
Congrats to every project that has been listed!
Thanks for showing Object Wars ! Unfortunate not to have posted a more recent video of the game given the number of updates made in the meantime.
I vote for:
#1- Cruel
#5- Runa & the Chaikuru Legacy
#9 - Road to Vostok
#4, #5, #8. there is so many fps games out there so its become a mainstream genre, and i couldn't even tell the difference between this and that. but number 4, 5, and 8 is a niche genre and gameplay. u can really tell the game name by seeing the gameplay or visual art
so, number #4, #5, and #8 is more creative than fps or racing genre
I vote for #5. Let’s go Runa!
Amazing games! Thanks for sharing them with the community and spreading the word!
My votes are:
2. Object Wars
8. Boss Scene Demo by Devmar
9. Road to Vostok
My votes:
1. Cruel (gameplay is dense asf)
8. Boss Scene Demo by Devmar (not a game...yet!)
9. Road to Vostok (closest thing we have to AAA quality fps in godot)
Cruel #1, Devmar #8 and Road to Vostok #9 have my votes.
#4. #5, #9 are my picks for sure.
all of these look absolutely awesome, but i would vote #1, #2 and #9, though if you were to ask on which i'm also interested in (i won't vote for) then #4, #6, #7 and maybe #8, though it does look severely unfinished
I vote for 3, 4 and 6. All of these games are incredible
#3, #5 & #7 for me.
#7 Of life and land, #9 Road to Vostok, and #4 Cassette Beasts
I vote for #2 Object Wars, #4 Cassette Beasts, and #9 Road to Vostok.
Edit: Also, this one was a lot easier to choose from, with the audio explanation of the games.
Mechanic 8230 looks absolutely beautiful 😍
My votes:

Cruel, Road to Vostok, and cassette beasts!
#1, #4 and #9 for this group.
Compared to unity's more elaborate rendering version or unreal, godot can still look pretty good but it looks like it has its limits graphically - I wonder what the main reason for that is 🤔 maybe no global illumination? I don't know enough to make guesses
#9, #1 and #7 are my votes!
Thanks for making this great content to showcase Godot😀For what it’s worth, the name is pronounced like “go doh” and not “god oh.” Using the correct pronunciation is a small detail that will improve the quality of your already excellent work.❤
3, 4, and 7 are my picks.

I've decided to start game development this year and was interested in Godot. Does anyone know if it supports native Console development for like PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles or just PC Steam and such? I am going to use it i want to make sure im making a game that i want to be able to put it on consoles as well and not just PC. Thank you for anyone who responds.
