    The air conditioner unit system is actually installed very firmly behind the Center console . I know becos I send my 2020 Yaris for Car audio upgrade. The installer open up everything on the middle panel....I saw it . That's y that isn't any opening space near the upper cup holder console there. The blower seems to be so close to the panel .

    Hi bobby..great content as always! Would like to toyota chr the spare parts of it is it much expensive than honda hrv and proton x50? Some said proton x50 is most expensive for the spare parts.

    If I was looking for a car in this segment, I would buy without a doubt! Maybe even consider as a spare car. I remember how features like these were scarce back during the days but this time, the Yaris pushes the limits. I do agree about the awkward space below the console, it could've been given more exposure to create a bigger compartment, but I guess they opted for solely cup holders, sad. However, they made it up by putting that wireless charger which will surely save a lot of lives haha

    • @brajvictor

      Definitely one of the best in its class, because the E and G spec Yaris comes with an acoustic windshield, so it definitely helps alot in the NVH department.

    • @BobbyAngmalaysia
      @BobbyAngmalaysia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Surely the first thing you will miss will be the start and go characteristics of these B segment hatches. Lightweight, small engine, smooth transmission and no frills. In the city, the F10 won't be able to out run the Yaris because these cars can go pass rough roads and bad patches or speed bumps way better than the F10, which you will have to slow down, brake harder, sayang the car etc but on highways, longer distance drives the beauty of a D segment large RWD sedan shows - if it is serviced properly la. The F10's seating position is more comfortable, the way your legs and your torso's angles are completely different from the Yaris, so it is a totally different type of car. Whether you should I leave it up to you, because you are going from a yearly RM500 maintenance car to possible year RM5000 maintenance car (assuming it is reasonable but not superb restored 10 year old car)

    Realistically with the latest updates to the facelifted Myvi, what are you actually getting in terms of upgrade when you go for a Yaris? Is it a purely psychological price upgrade ?

    • @brajvictor
      @brajvictor 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ultimately, a secured sense of safety and a much much better overall ride feel. There are reasons why they are priced so differently. You can never get that "I'm safe while driving" feeling in a myvi. Don't get me wrong, the myvi is an excellent vehicle for its price and offers great value to most b40 people. Just curious, have you tried them out individually?

    • @duaneyeoh4283
      @duaneyeoh4283 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@brajvictor tried the vios and Myvi but they both don’t offer the planted big car feel for me. The Vios/Yaris still rides on the 2008 Vios platform, and the Myvi on the first gen 2005 platform. I don’t think safety is “assured” while I’m driving either 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Honestly, Yaris is better than City Hatchback?
    Yaris:
    - Rear Cross Traffic Alert
    - Blind Spot Monitor
    - Around View Monitor
    - AEB and Lane Departure Warning for almost variants
    - Good design
    - Reliable
    - Cheaper than City Hatchback
    City Hatchback:
    - No Rear Cross Traffic Alert
    - No Blind Spot Monitor (LaneWatch but only side)
    - No Around View Monitor
    - No AEB and Lane Departure Warning for almost variants, except for RS
    - Boring design
    - Unreliable including Earth Dream Gearbox
    - Expensive than Yaris

      Well, both are pretty good on the road. I would give the City Hatchback the edge for its better engine performance and practicality. The safety features both manufacturers boast is just on the veneer. It is the driver's experience and his connection with the road.
