Good review. Bought myself a vios in Feb 2021, and faced some of the problem:
1. Aircond filter smells bad whenever I switched on the aircond. Brought back to service center, they mentioned that i drive very less and as such, mold has started to grow in the filter? Whatttt?
2. Car windows started to have watermark. Despite using soft99 to clean, the watermark came back shortly after.
Overall still a decent car in terms of comfort.

Close one eye for the "ugly stuff" , its actually a very good car 😊👍
Suggestions. First is the manual hand brake. Now days cars come with electric parking brake like Honda Civic FC, Mazda CX3. Please change the manual parking brake to electric parking brake. Second is the center front arm rest which occupy the rear passenger legroom. Please change front center arm rest which do not occupy the rear passenger legroom. Also the arm rest can sue as console box for storage.
Please do more videos like this for other cars , the infos given was useful for new buyer. Especially the bad parts...cause most people do video also talk about good ones only

Can relate very much to your desire for an improved version of the Yaris. First drove a Tercel in 1978 and it was a wonderful car. Just wished Toyota would learn from other car manufacturers like the Honda City Hatch, which is miles ahead in terms of space utility, ride and handling. Performance wise, both Honda and Yaris are pretty good. Useful review for the meticulous car buyer.

Hi JR. Can you do pre collision test? Test it and put video regarding how effectively it works. Just curious since people been saying it doesn't work efficiently.

@@im_jrsong yes I prefer it very much to myvi. I will die if I bought the myvi. But so far Yaris is generally good reviews with you giving the bad parts which is good to know. But on the whole it is a solid car looks good feels right ❤️
@@Thverse2263 so far driving it is good, its after looking at Honda City/Hatchback and you realize "why the Yaris interior so much fail" but then already bought so can't do much but make a video complain on TH-cam 😅

My 15 years old Altis does have remote control to unlock the car boot through my car key………..should install 15 years old system on Yaris…….why not ????
Love the video. Been driving yaris as a daily driver about a year plus now. I love it when im taking corners in manual mode, i totally forgot everything i hate about this car 🤭

Yaris so many in putrajaya..
Also the lack of adjustment of the headrest driver and front passengger only got one level adjustment, kind of annoying 🙃 and no teh tarik hook at back of the passenger seat and driver like myvi really turn down the mood eventhough have teh tarik hook at the boot. Lastly the lousy centre console and arm rest that doesn't play the part of usable 😂 That's all my complain for now not to forget honorable mention of the front windscreen defrost function that leave the button of the climate control like kosong slot for button and lack of paddle shift haiya 😅
Quite many complaints there 😆 Maybe can look at Honda City Hatchback 😎
@@im_jrsong City hatchback only "RS" specs got all the best thing. But honda now just a logo not an reliable car like toyota. I also got bad experience with honda so no turning back to the brand that gives problem to me. Eventhough i hate all those crappy things, but I take toyota all the way, just live with it and stick to it 🤣 hate and love relationships I guess 😆 Because there's no service that offer like toyota, even honda or nissan. Peace of mind with toyota now, eventhough the technology are bit outdated compare to other's that take time to be implement to their product. But I fine with what they offer now, value for your money and more sexy design 🤪 Yaris from back like caldina meh 😍

I've seen the Honda City at showroom. Walaweh very nice car. I don't like the exterior, vios is better. But the interior, so much space. Even got rear aircond and cruise control. Why toyota whyy. 😭😭

Can u check Toyota Msia(UMW) have Design Dept ka?? If exist,what are they doing there..Customer Centric?? Hypocrite philosophy...New Yaris came with old low spec Vios interior..can say no improvement..mostly just carry over old features.. is it remaining cost means to remain the old design or u cannot make improvements..can we say what a rubbish Toyota Msia...
