I painted my boat with garage floor epoxy paint and it had the same effect. With the second coat and the right roller you could get quite a bit of texture.
Hey Matt! Very Nice!
What a great looking boat!
Thank you
Great video. Where did you get the graphics wrap?
I’m considering using this in my boat with no EVA type foam. Is it slick when wet?
Why did you paint the whole top deck and not just the parts that is seen as you put hydro turf on the deck? Wouldn't the texture make the hydro turf not stick?
It’s not that textured and we had a lot of left over
Does the hydro turn stick to it good?
yup
I so want a 1652 for my electric only lake.
It’s a great hull

Can you paint this over wood?
yes
How slippery is this stuff when wet? Putting together a multipurpose boat, fishing, Bowfishing and duck hunting. Don’t want the deck slippery when Bowfishing.
Do you have any experience with how it handles sun and if it is cooler to the touch than "basic" painted metal?
Not with the black, just the white. Hopefully we will get details on this from the customer
gunwale 🙃
Nobody says it that way.
and yet it's still spelled gunwale
