- Sprayed Raptor Liner over my homemade wooden duck boat after the paint and wood started cracking from sun damage. Easy to use product and hopefully will help my boat last years to come.

Good video. I built the same boat but used marine grade plywood which was difficult to set screw heads to proper depth. Hopefully marine grade material holds up to elements. Raptor liner looks like the right choice for repair.

My liner you add color to the bottle before you spray. You could go green then camo. Im doing research on this for my 1965 drift boat that i just picked up. Thank you putting this out there .

So far it’s holding up great. Been taking a beating this duck season especially going through all the flooded timber we have this year. Sticking really well and so far no sun damage at all.

I commented on another of your vids, DIY wood boat ? What plans did you use for the boat ? would it handle 2 guys a dog and decoys ?
How is it holding up in the heat? Any peels fade? I’m thinking about doing my plywood camper when I build it. Might seal the wood with kiltz first.
The heat hasn’t been an issue and so far no fading.

How long is this boat I’m thinking about instead of carpeting my bass boat using this product it’s 17 ft
It’s 16’ 7”, you can make it longer or shorter if you’d like just depends on your ability to work with wood. Plans are fairly easy to follow. Good luck and stay safe!
I just reread your question. You were talking about the raptor liner not the boat itself. Yes the boat is just under 17’ and the liner is very easy to apply. You could put multiple coats on your boat and even down the road if you feel you want it thicker you can just spray more over the existing liner. Hope this helps.
How heavy would you say the boat is
Not 100% but I'd say close to 300lb. I made my boat with 2x4s not 1x4s to make it more sturdy.
How has it held up over all these years now?

How many litters did you use total?
I used the entire kit on it. All 8 bottles and it allowed for about 3 coats.
Yes it’s perfect for two men and a dog. I carry a couple dozen decoys and a few mojos. It’s from gator wood boat plans I think.
