    Pumping at night sometime between 12 am to 6am! I never knew that, im gonna try it. Right now i am pumping every 2 to 3 hours and my supply is VERY slowly increasing maybe if i add 1 session at night it will truly increase. I dont BF anymore, and do 90% formula and im ok with that, i just need more milk for my bby bc she likes breastmilk better than formula.

    I am relactating!!! I'm excited!! I stopped breastfeeding due to low supply. I got discouraged and stopped all together. I believe my supply got shorter due to lack of nutrition! My baby was a jaundice baby and was introduced to the bottle first instead of my nipple because she wouldn't latch due to her being too tired. But thanks for the tip about watching something happy and thank you for giving the proper time frame to pump!❤

    Hey Veronica! i stopped breastfeeding for 20 days due to stress but i feel so guilty and want to go back again. i'm so glad i came across your video. my question is, how long of a break did you take and how long did it take for you to get your supply back? i'm really nervous that i screwed up and won't be able to breastfeed.

      Hi there! So glad you found my video helpful! Breastfeeding indeed can be extremely stressful... Personally, I never stopped breastfeeding, just didn't do it sufficiently and ended up with a very low milk supply but it never dried up completely... After I started pumping ~9 times/day, I was able to rebuild by supply within 3 weeks. However, I heard women manage to re-lactate even after a month after stopping bf... I think as long as you are able to get at least a drop of milk, you should be able to rebuild your supply. Honestly, no matter what, try not to feel guilty, you are doing your absolute best for your child! Really, you do! Some babies have milk, some have formula and that's alright. I was a formula fed baby myself and I am just fine ;) Just do what makes you and your little one happy, nothing can be more important!

    Hi Veronica I am currently trying to relactate I exclusively breastfed for 3 months and my supply slowly started to decrease I'm assuming due to stress and not eating/drinking enough. My son is now 5 months. I stoped for 2 months. I found myself staring at my baby instead of taking care of myself as well!! Loved your video it is very helpful and just what I needed to hear. Im looking forward to your next video about pumping!!

      choy oliquiano I can imagine your frustration, i was in the same predicament... unfortunately the only way to re-establish a milk supply is through direct stimulation - pump and/or baby. If you have very little time maybe do just as much as you can, even a 5 minute pump session is better than none! Try to get your baby to feed, that is even more effective than any pumps out there! Hope this helps! Sorry, when it comes to breastfeeding there are really no simple answers 😔

    • @northboundwithwarmth7990
      @northboundwithwarmth7990  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that's more of a personal preference. I heard manual is more labour intensive, never owned one for that reason. I used an electric one and found it very helpful

  • @AndieBabie
    @AndieBabie 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    careful about pumping too much in the first 2-4 weeks because yes some extra is good but if you create too much of a deand you could end up with a huge oversupply which can lead to clogs and mastitis. it is easiest to adjust your supply in the first 12-16 weeks.

    • @northboundwithwarmth7990
      @northboundwithwarmth7990  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are absolutely right! I think that is why is most important to get professional help when it comes to breastfeeding issued. In my case, I was never even close to getting too much. I was always just extra 20 oz and not a drop more

    • @northboundwithwarmth7990
      @northboundwithwarmth7990  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, thanks for watching! Moringa is thought to promote breastmilk production, my lactation consultant suggested I try it. I am not sure it made much difference or not. When it comes to nutritional supplements, it can always be a placebo effect... But I liked the taste and so drank it in my tea. I believe any hot drink helps milk release since it relaxes you... Above all, supply-demand is the biggest factor in breastfeeding

    I’m 23 days postpartum. Since the beginning I had problems with my baby wanting the breast and latching, it was so painful so I just stopped but my mistake was I didn’t have a pump so I didn’t breastfeed for weeks nor pumped. Now I bought one and started pumping a few days ago but I barely make drops each time. Any recommendations? I want to be able to feed my baby with exclusive pumping and have a stash

    • @northboundwithwarmth7990
      @northboundwithwarmth7990  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are getting any amount of milk at all, even drops, in my understanding there’s still a chance you could get your milk back. It’s very hard and time consuming at this point in time tho. The only thing I would do is keep at it - pumping every 1-2 hours and during the night. A lactation consultant might give you even more tips or prescribe milk inducing medication... best of luck!! ❤️

      Branching Balance thank you! I’ve been doing that for a couple days with power pumping a couple times the day and already saw an increase, I’m leaking a little bit already!

    • @northboundwithwarmth7990
      @northboundwithwarmth7990  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keila Alvizures that’s wonderful! Very happy for you! It took me about 3 weeks to get the amount I needed to exclusively breastfeed. Most effective was when I was pumping at night 12-6am window and was keeping a positive mindset while pumping, thinking of my baby etc... that what seemed to give a strong boost to my milk production
