Carnival Cruise owns Mahogany Bay Port and the Private Beach (Mahogany Beach) and we take you through this entire port showing you how much food, drinks and rental equipment cost so you can plan, save time and money! This beach and port are one of our favorites and is worth a visit and we believe you will agree after seeing everything available during this video.

What is your opinion on this port? Is this one of your favorite places?
Headed there in less than 2 weeks! I’ll let you know!
Thanks for the in depth video. We go on a cruise at the end of September and this will be one of our stops. I liked and subscribed. Keep the videos coming.
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a GREAT Port!
Thank you for the great, informative overview tour! My coworker & I will be there in April 2025, and we are so excited!
Glad it was helpful!
What a great video😊
Thank you! 😀
We really like Roatan as a cruise port. Yes, the port is nice. however, if you want to use a 3rd party excursion, they do not let the outside vendors actually use the port. Instead, you have to walk 1/2 mile down the road to a field where all the independent tours leave from. At the end of the excursion, they can drop you off at the entrance of the port.
The beach area is nice but is it that much different from dozens of other beaches in the Caribbean. If you like snorkeling, you are a lot better hiring a driver to take you to the east side of Roatan Island to snorkel near the reef. We paid $50 for a 4-hour tour by a private tour through Roatan Travel and Tours.
Yes. We booked a tour through Charlie's Roatan Tours. We had a private tour guide, went to the Monkey/Sloths Sanctuary and to West Bay Beach to a private resort all for $55 each. We did a video of this if you would like to see it. It's the "What to do in Roatan" video.
We went to that beach after we did our Sloth and Monkey tour . We had a great time .
It's one of the nicer ports in our opinion. Not many have an actual beach which is a plus! Glad you had a great time!
Excellent Video! How long of a walk is it from the time you exit the ship to the main port shopping area? Would you say it’s over a mile walk?
@@lennie7888 No, it's about a 5 min walk. When you get off the ship, the duty shop is right by the ship. You walk through that and the walking path is pretty short to the shops.
@@WanderingHewitts - Thank you so much!
Can you find postcards there?
They have souvenir shops and we bought some magnets at one so I would think they would have postcards.
Thank you!
Is this an excursion or right at port ?
This was all at the port. They don't have a pool at this port but they do have this wonderful beach area!
