It's too bad that you're in CO. I'm in a recently built building in NYC. The GC and subcontractors left all my Mr Slim and ceiling cassetes running during construction. The amount of drywall dust and filth in my units is absurd.

What was your amount of time on site? I have 2 cassettes in a small/mid size kitchen that need stripping and cleaning, hardest part is the scheduling to lessen the impact on their business. I know production of the video adds some time for camera repositioning and narration.

Dude, that is black mold. So nasty! How often is this kind of cleaning necessary?

The frequency of cleaning an indoor unit depends significantly on its surroundings. Given that this unit operates in a garden environment, which tends to be tough on Mini Splits due to increased soil and humidity, more frequent cleaning is usually necessary. This unit was manufactured in 2014, not sure when it was installed, or if its ever been cleaned before.
