This will be Madonna's last tour before the introduction of the giant video screens. And while they certainly add another dimension to a stage show, Girlie Show is good reminder what can be achieved with old skool theatrical elements.
You are so right! Now, 30 years later, it still fills me with joy watching the Girlie Show, and it also makes me sad at the same time, because this was the last tour in the old fashioned way.
Back in the day this show was deemed as “x-rated”, “too hot for the audience”, and some headlines even read “calm down grandma”. Madonna was only 35 and at the peak of the entire Erotica era. I’ve seen men reacting to this show and collaborating to these reviews. It’s refreshing to see two women seeing the beauty Madonna meant to convey with this concert, bringing lots of positivity about this show. Of course it’s still the first act, there are 3 more to go and it’s a journey, trust me. But from this beginning we can see how much the combination of Madonna, Nikki and Donna solidified into the mind of fans. This performance of Rain is referenced by us to this very day. The emotion Brenda is feeling is something we can all relate to. By the way, love Emily’s new hair!
Thank you so much! And thank you for the hair compliment as well! ❤️❤️ We can definitely see why this performance of Rain is so loved by fans - Absolute magic! ❤️❤️
This was an amazing concert! The dancer that opens the show is Carrie Ann Inaba, one of the judges on Dancing with the Stars. She is an incredible dancer, as are all of Madonna's dancers....Look forward to part 2. Nice job ladies!
I'm embarrassed to say this, but I get very emotional watching your video reactions. Not only are you reacting to one of the few artists ever who speaks to me and makes me feel valued, but the quality of your relationship is what I always craved but never received from my own family. Sad, but true. Your channel should come with a trigger warning: Affirmation, validation and entertainment may result. Proceed at your own risk. I'm being facetious, of course, but I do so look forward to every video. Thank you both!
You're such an incredibly sweet person - Thank you for that! ❤️❤️ If we could crawl through the screen and hug you now, we would. Just know that we're sending so much love your way, and we're very grateful that you're here with us. ❤️
I mean who literally burns up the stage ? This woman is just one of a kind. The topless pole dancer was once again Carrie Ann Inaba. The Fever performance was phenomenal, totally different from her TV versions. All about that flame 🔥 even when the men removed their shirts they turned them into swaying flames. One thing with Madonna as a live performer you can feel her joy and love for her audience in your soul.
Thank you guys for taking this journey. There's something extra special about watching you two unfold her amazing career compared to other Madonna reaction videos that others are doing (or have already done). And I was right there with you in tears during "Rain", especially after that beautiful harmony into the instrumental. This is why so many consider her one of the greatest live performers ever, and why she is still the best-selling female musical recording artist in history 👏
Madonna's first time here in Brasil was back in 1993 with this tour. No need to say it was a complete phenomenon and stopped the country! She came back many times with her tours, but this one made Brasil even more crazy in love with her!
I love your reaction to Rain. I think Madonnas greatest talent is her emotional delivery and her vulnerability. I think the entire Erotica album is about intimacy. Physical intimacy, emotional intimacy, romance and friendship. I think the album is incredibly well rounded, innovative, and misunderstood. Niki, Donna, and Madonna together always does it to me. There is no better accompaniment for her vocals and performance style. This particular performance is so glorious and moving and wonderful and joyous. Happy new year ❤❤❤
Rain (here, in The Girlie Show tour) is one of the most perfect vocal Madonna`s performances for her 40-year career. But of course Donna and Nikki are great too! It sounds so clean and soft! Great job from the Queen!
No need to say this is my favorite Madonna tour! I have the DVD and watched it too many times! She delivers a wonderful powerful performance in every song! I can't pick a favorite!
I had to watch again just for Vogue and Rain. Just perfect. I’m so excited you’re on this journey. You’ll see when you review Drownd World, Sticky&Sweet , MDNA , Rebel Heart . The meaning behind every word and movement gets more intense each show not to mention the crowds get bigger, stage and production get bigger and her vocals get insanely better I mean I think she always sounds amazing but after her Evita training she showcases her cords on Drownd World!!! Thanks again for this.
This was the best Rain Performamce just mindblowing! And i love these tours when she did songs with Nikki and Donna. The 3 were harmonizing fantastic together! I think she included the 2 even in the 2000s shows, till the Confessions Tour! Cant wait for your reaction in this tour with later Songs like Deeper and Deeper and In this Life and Why its so hard.....you will need tissues again believe me😊 Those Erotica Songs had deep themes like Aids, Queer Love or Self Empowering...One of her best Albums ever!
So glad you finally made it to The Girlie Show. I saw this at Wembley stadium in London it was a great night and it was also recorded and played the following night on Radio 1. (They wouldn’t broadcast live again after the Blond Ambition Tour broadcast controversy!) can’t wait for part 2 👏🏻
Happy New Year to you both!!!! I got emotional too, but as a 40yr fan, it’s hard not to now, looking back on the artistry of this amazing woman and how truly thankful I am, to have come through my teen years into the mid 50’s,following her career in real time. I was so looking forward to your reactions to the tour on a whole, but especially her new look with short hair and the beautiful Indian inspired performance of Vogue. She used the same flavor on the last tour, with Like A Virgin. 😊❤
i was there on this night, friday 19th nov 93. this was not just a concert but an event. i was 15 and my parents let me go on my own (those were the days) i spent the day out the front of her hotel. i watched her work out in the hotel gym. i was on the news. there were 45,000 people there. you can see me on the film later on. it remains the best night of my life. btw the dance piece at the end of rain was choreographed by none other but gene Kelly. love u girls cant wait for part 2.
Thank you - Sending so much love to you! ❤️❤️ And wow!! What an incredible story. Can't imagine what it must've been like to see yourself on the film!!! Just amazing. ❤️
I think the pixie blonde haircut looked really good on Madonna and really fit the show. Carrie Ann Inaba was amazing in the opening, she later of “dancing with the stars.”
What a treat to see you ladies react to this wonderful concert. I too had tissues when I saw this live with another 52 000 fans in my hometown of Montreal Canada! The ride has just begun!! Can't wait for part two! 💖💖
Oh Ladies! This show was magnificent LIVE, I had center stage seats for Detroit. Just so enjoying your take and love for this Blonde with Ambition. #MegaMichiganMFan84
I’ve been super excited for this one!! If I could go back in a “time capsule”, this would definitely be the Madonna show I would go and see!! Loved your reaction on pt1❤Awww Brenda, bless you… it’s such an emotional performance isn’t it!!! Not meaning to plug her brother Christopher after he sold a book on her, but there’s a lot of references about The Girlie Show as he designed the stage. He said that each night Madonna would be super nervous waiting on the lift for Erotica. I was always shocked by this as you would never tell that Madonna gets nervous before a performance. But, she’s only human after all 😊
I didn’t get his book when it came out but got the audiobook about a year and a half ago. I think the book is marketed as a tell all on her and he certainly does air her out a bit but rightfully so. She was the one with power in this dynamic. But It is his story and I do so love to hear his voice again and I’ve always loved him and his contributions to her artistry and i Miss them together. It would be amazing if he was one of the guests on her tour! ❤❤
I was anxious to come back home after work and watch you, girls. Lovely reaction. Madonna concerts "kick ass". I was also amazed by Madonna Voice here, in RAIN, and her range changes OF course, DONNA & NIKKI always add that extra spice ❤️
Great job again ladies. I am always eager for your next reaction as they are so genuine and heartfelt!! The Girlie Show is such a great concert! Im glad youre getting to enjoy it... the next section tells a real story. i think youll love it! Different in feel to the first part but just as wonderful❤
This precision and this aesthetic research taken to maniacal levels: making oneself a work of art. I completely agree with Brenda, the body was the center of everything and Madonna's face are the expressive means to create something that had never been seen in a stadium show: music represented by moving paintings. Thinking about it, it's a madness, the details could only be seen with a telescope. It is interesting that Madonna always starts from what she likes, her references are always in the history of art, in this case Edward Hopper's painting "The girlie show" and other paintings in which the mask seen at start of the show. It is a real shame that the artistic and human relationship with her brother Christopher is over. Much of this show is due to him.
I want to see this tour again in a big screen. Together with the Blond Ambition, i think it's one of her best tours. This was a bit more intimate and she went to special countries that she hadn't gone before, like Mexico, Turkey or Argentina. But has a special quality in it, the closest Madonna has come to doing musical theater on tour. I love the strength of Fever's performance and the appearance of the harlequin throughout the show throughout the night, as in this case in Rain. I am quite fond of this show, it is a pleasure to revisit it with you, who make some very interesting and accurate analyzes. Kisses 😍😍😍
Aww, thank you ! ❤️❤️😘 Although we haven't seen the rest of her tours (yet!), this definitely has to be one of the best. Just incredible on every level. ❤️
Ah I await your videos every day I love following you ladies on your journey of Madonna. This will always be my favourite tour and unlike anything else . Keep up the amazing work
Loved your reaction once again. I’m getting addicted to these videos 😊 This concert was amazing and she even contacted Gene Kelly as an advisor on some parts of the show. As you could see at the ending of Rain. A reverence to Singing In the Rain. And later on at the homage to Marlene Dietrich…. Am looking forward to part 2 !
Luv how Madonna envisioned this Erotica era tour and how brilliantly she put together all the artistic staging elements to produce this tour. She aptly named this tour after Edward Hopper’s erotic 1941 masterpiece painting-Girlie Show-of a seductive, middle age burlesque theater performer who in her artistic show imparts a sense to her audience as “desirable but untouchable, to be observed safely and admired from a distance”. Traditionally with a traveling burlesque/cabaret theater, there is a clown figure, here Madonna chose a masked “sad” clown character known as a “Pierrot” who originated in 16th century Italian comedic theater, became popular in France in 17th century theater, and in the modern era became “a silent, alienated observer of the mysteries of the human condition”. She brought new life to Vogue with a choreography and costume influenced by Balinese/Siamese traditional dance moves which depicted multi-armed Hindu gods/goddesses in their poses. I’d give the House of Madonna another 10 in this Vogue number. The Rain number was superb that ended with a video interlude of umbrellas twirling to hints of Gene Kelly’s 1942 classic “Singin’ In The Rain” theme song. One of Madonna’s early influence she admired, she convinced Kelley to choreograph this interlude but she eventually had to let him go as reportedly he clashed with the other artistic tour directors as he objected to the show’s “heavy sexual overtones” and he questioned that the dancers were selected more based on their “personal qualities” than dancing abilities. Put simply, Kelly was too conservative for Madonna’s artistry. I think Madonna, in her drive to break taboos and confront her critics, she opened and infused this tour with more artistic eroticism and sexuality in the choreography, and she did it with supreme confidence, tongue in cheek, a wink and a naughty smile-most likely causing her religious critics and prudes to squirm, get more annoyed and irritated. That’s the rebellious punk in Madonna. ❤your beautiful reaction here, specially to Rain. For her fans, she offers her bond of intimacy, vulnerability and appreciation of the arts.
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️ We really appreciate the background info that you shared regarding the tour inspiration (burlesque and cabaret). And the Gene Kelly story... So interesting! Truly love the artistry she applies to everything she does. Nothing is random - It all serves a beautiful purpose in telling the story. ❤️
Hello! I've been following your channel for just a couple of months or so and have been enjoying your Madonna reactions. I've been a big Madonna fan since I was in about 8th grade, around the time of the Blond Ambition tour. Fun fact about the performance you just watched: The dance interlude after "Rain" was actually a recreation of a scene from the musical "Singin' In The Rain" and "Vogue" was a recreation of the Broadway musical "The King & I." Madonna depicts and recreates several different Broadway musicals in this show - NO SPOILERS but see if you can spot any! Also, the sound from the concert in your video is really quiet. I had to turn up my volume full blast to hear it. I hope you can turn it up just a notch so that we can enjoy it with you. Great job on your channel and best of luck to you in the new year!
Aww, thank you - And best wishes to you in the new year too! ❤️❤️ We'll definitely keep our eyes open for the other musical references! Thank you for sharing that (and we'll see if we can determine the issue with the volume). ❤️
Madonna is the only artist whose concert tours are never the same. Other singers (Janet & Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Britney, Lady Gaga, and others,) have been doing the same choreography from decades ago. For something to be "Iconic" is has to be special, done once and let it stand on its glory. If an artist is still doing the same dance moves from a decades old music video, it shows 0 growth, creativity and lack of imagination. In every tour the look, sound, staging and costumes are never the same and that's what makes Madonna the greatest ....
Hello, little curiosity about this part. The dancer who was on the pole was hired by Madonna in a club where he saw her dancing on the pole and I think she was incredibly good. Fred Astaire had been hired as choreographer for the finale of Rain but the final result did not convince Madonna and had him relieved of the task by his brother Christofer. If you pay attention, you can hear the notes of singing in the rain at the moment of rain solo dance
I think it was Gene Kelly that Madonna hired to choreograph the video interlude at the end of the Rain number as a homage to his classic 1952 film song/dance performance of Singin’ In The Rain. He left the production after he clashed with Chris Ciccone and Madonna over the artistic direction of the tour.
Ok, I'm going to reserve this spot to make comments since my short-term memory is gone, I'll forget by the time the video is over. This is my fave tour from her, Blond Ambition broke, well, everything, but this one has a special place in my heart. I have the choreo in my muscle memory. That shimmy during fever was how I basically cleaned my house after seeing this. A feast for the eyes. Ummm, I got lost in the sauce watching, per usual...so no more thoughts, lol.
An amazing review ladies. I saw this show two nights in a row, and on the first night, I was late, and I missed Carrie Ann Inaba coming down the 50 foot pole! I love when she came stomping down the steps and peeled off the mask! So fierce! I knew Brenda was going to love Rain… It’s ok girl, emotions are good!! Next is the studio 54 segment. It opens with a gigantic disco ball. 🪩 You’re going to love it. You’ve noticed the high heel boot she’s wearing, just so you know, she only tours in heels now. Probably why her legs look like buttah!! See you soon for part 2! Have a nice night! ♥️
Thank you! ❤️❤️ And two nights in a row... Wow - What an experience (at least you got to see the pole on the second night 😉)! Have a wonderful evening! ❤️
Oh excited for this. Very interesting concert! So many different styles and emotions! She really stepped up her game once again compared to all tours before imo. You two look absolutely stunning. So lovely to see you. We are having so much fun with your channel :)
Happy New Year ❤❤ Great reaction! Rain is stunning!! M can do massive production but here it’s toned down and is just magical . The blend of N&D with Madonna is a match made in heaven. I had goosebumps on opening night in London.
Way better than the Blond Ambition Tour even though this one doesnt get the credit it deserves. Another awesome reaction from you two. Keep it up. You are the best.
Love it! Been waiting. This is one of my favorite tours of hers and it was a nice extension of what she started with Blond Ambition. The performances, the theatrical presentation, the staging. It's all great. Even had the Great Gene Kelly give input on one of the numbers. Enjoy! PS(I tear up during Rain too) lol It's an amazing performance with her and Nikki and Donna. They say Madonna cant sing.... I think this shows she's quite good at it!
Hi ladies happy new year from Scotland. Love this tour so much. And Rain O.M.G was so emotional too, always gets me. The mix of Rain and singing in the rain was inspired. She showed it to Gene Kelly apparently a d he loved it....faaabb, roll on part 2...70's disco here we come, p.s will need hanky for the next part too
What a beautiful reaction ladies. Thank you for it. You’re both fantastic reactors to M. You get her. She really does take the listener and viewer on an emotional journey. I think that went and still does go over a lot of peoples heads. Maybe one day they’ll see it. For now, it’s wonderful to relive all of it with the two of you. I saw this show in NYC and it was incredible. Especially with no spoilers and no cellphones and no social media. The excitement was unbelievable. I’ve been lucky enough to see her 7 times. Hopefully I’ll see The Celebration Tour. I’m not sure that it will pan out though, but you never know. I’m excited you’ll be getting to go. I’m excited for you. 😊 I’m looking forward to your following Girlie Show reactions and your continued M journey. Thanks Again.
Aww, thank you so much! And we're so happy you're reliving your experiences along with us. ❤️❤️ Congratulations on seeing her 7 times - Our fingers are crossed that you'll make it to The Celebration Tour as well!❤️
Hi ladies! What a joy to follow this journey through the Queen’s career! I was looking forward to seeing your reaction to the grand, sexual and romantic "Girlie Show"... together with you I feel like I'm watching the show for the first time!!! thanks!❤❤
I love the Girlie Show, one of my favourites, no doubt! it's so theatrical...and in the second part comes the big party! BTW Happy New Year, and hope you keep your fabulous Madonna trip in 2024!
Oh yeah Madonna definitely worked out alot for this tour. Her thighs aren't usually this muscular. She worked her butt off for this show so when she performed on stage, it looked easy to do all the extensive dancing and singing live at the same time.
Love this journey so much..your reactions are so authentic and mirrored mine...i saw this concert live and was blown away from start to finsh .rain has always been a fav of mine ..there are some incredible moments coming up..the theatricality and performance art presented here is beautiful, and at turns poignant and provocative ...love our lil agent provocateur...
Brenda, you have such an open heart and artistic soul, it's a blessing! I'm sure you will have an amazing time when you see her live in April. :) Seeing you emotional, made me emotional :D
MDNA TOUR (2012) please!! She was fire there! With 54 years! Also Stick and sweet tour live Argentina she was 50 there and it was totally fireeee ❤ Love from Argentina!
24:12... RAIN is one of HER BEST LIVE VOCAL PERFORMANCES 😊 1. RAIN (THE GIRLIE SHOW TOUR) 2. RAY OF LIGHT (THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW) 3. LIKE A VIRGIN (THE BLONDE AMBITION TOUR) 4. TAKE A BOW (AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS) 5. CRAZY FOR YOU (THE VIRGIN TOUR) 6. FEVER (THE GIRLIE SHOW TOUR) 7. LA ISLA BONITA (GIRLIE SHOW TOUR) 8. PARADISE (NOT FOR ME) (THE CONFESSIONS TOUR) 9. BAD GIRL ( SNL) 10. SOONER OR LATER (THE GIRLIE SHOW TOUR)
I’m living with you your journey throughout her career, and revisiting her work. She is not only a (good) singer, she is an holistic artist, pure art So glad to find you ladies, ready to continue with you! Regards from Barcelona! 😊
Madonna not only has the best dancers (imv), but she always lets them showcase their unique talents. The opening performance with the semi-nude pole dance is Carriei Ann Inaba, who came to be one of the original judges of 'Dancing With the Stars' and a daytime talk show host.
I couldn't agree more with you both on your thoughts on this tour. She radiated pure joy on this one, and it is - in my opinion - her greatest tour. I believe it had a very limited run, with only certain US cities and a European leg. With brother Christopher on artistic direction and tour vision, the aesthetics created here by this dynamic brother/ sister team are legendary. And Brenda, you were spot on with your take on the specific movements, the physical discipline, and the beauty of it all. Madonna proved you could be overtly sexual and not have it feel exploitative, gratuitous, or dirty. She had an abundance of cultural currency at the time, so she could afford to take risks and she did so - brilliantly. Those who gasped in horror and the perpetually offended are not in on the joke, anyway, so let them clutch their pearls. That just leaves more M for the rest of us who DO get it.

Thank you for expressing this so perfectly! Well done! ❤️❤️
The entire "Girlie Show" was inspired by the painting by Edward Hopper of the same name, depicting a burlesque dancer. Vogue was a tribute to 'The King & I' and the movements and hand gestures are spot on.
I miss Donna and Nicki. I wish they were touring with her now on her 40th anniversary tour. It doesnt seem right that they are not, since they were with her for a large portion of her career. 🙂
Once again, great reaction. I would love to share a coffee or a beer with both of you and have an extended conversation about Madonna, the only problem is that I watch you from Chile, lol…. Un abrazo!
The only show, besides the virgin tour (America only) I didn't see live. Still regret I didn't get tickets for this show in Paris, but I watched this DVD over and over again. One of my favorite shows.
Oh, I knew we were going to have a blast watching Rain live after the official video reaction 😊 And yeah, we're going to see many more M, Nicki and Donna moments but Rain is the most special one for me. They're still singing it together nowadays (without Madonna)
The two of you are the least anxious people I've ever seen. Unless you hide it well... If so I need your secret. 😂 Okay, no offense at all coming from me. I was watching you today and all of a sudden I got this weird notion that you reminded me of something or some people that I've seen before and all of a sudden it popped into my head that you remind me of the two ladies who played the NPR radio hosts on the SNL skit with Alec Baldwin and then Betty White. If you know what I'm talking about then you know what I'm talking about. If not look up NPR SNL skit with Alec Baldwin. Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon speaking that quiet very chill voice and it just reminds me so much of listening to the two of you and I laughed but I'm not laughing at you I'm just laughing at the fact that there are actually people like those women that were being played on SNL hahaha!😂
She never looked more happy than in this tour. She was smiling throughout the whole show.
❤️❤️
My opinion.
It’s by far her best tour.
Everyone had so much fun
This performance of Rain is one of the best performances of Madonna's career, so simple, raw and full of meaning
Hands down!
This will be Madonna's last tour before the introduction of the giant video screens. And while they certainly add another dimension to a stage show, Girlie Show is good reminder what can be achieved with old skool theatrical elements.
And I love the intimacy of it all.
So true!! This production is incredible. ❤️❤️

Nobody puts on a show like Madonna. Her tours are incredible. ❤
We agree! They’re amazing!
This was an amazing concert! The dancer that opens the show is Carrie Ann Inaba, one of the judges on Dancing with the Stars. She is an incredible dancer, as are all of Madonna's dancers....Look forward to part 2. Nice job ladies!
She also choreographed the entire tour.
Thank you! ❤️❤️
@@rowanmayfair9249 That's factually incorrect. Alex Magno was the main choreographer for the Girlie Show.
I love this concert! I wish I had been allowed to see this. 😂😂
@rodrigodalcin2915 Yes, I saw that. If you look it up, some say she did. Others him. Thank you! I forgot to correct myself.
I'm embarrassed to say this, but I get very emotional watching your video reactions. One of the best concerts ever!!! Madonna best!! Off the chain amazing!

You said it!
Could not have said it better on all counts!
You're very sweet- Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
That was 35 mins and 37 seconds of total bliss. Cant wait for the next one. 😁😁😁
You're very kind - Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Watching your emotions when she sang 'Rain'.... so sweet....
It's such a beautiful performance... ❤️❤️
Madonna's first time here in Brasil was back in 1993 with this tour. No need to say it was a complete phenomenon and stopped the country! She came back many times with her tours, but this one made Brasil even more crazy in love with her!
Love that! ❤️❤️
So much influence from old Hollywood in this concert it’s like a broadway show!!
Wow what a fabulous concert from beginning to end ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
this show I ❤ the most
Madonna is a legend ! this show is pure art ! French kiss from Paris !
❤️❤️😘
The Rain performance is one of my favorites absolutely perfection ❤
Saw this live in Brazil . i did spend a whole night in front of her hotel before concert.
The free soundcheck was EPIC.
She IS A REAL QUEEN.
Sounds like an incredible experience! ❤️❤️
This and confessions and reinvention…❤❤❤
I love your reaction to Rain. I think Madonnas greatest talent is her emotional delivery and her vulnerability.
I think the entire Erotica album is about intimacy. Physical intimacy, emotional intimacy, romance and friendship. I think the album is incredibly well rounded, innovative, and misunderstood.
Niki, Donna, and Madonna together always does it to me. There is no better accompaniment for her vocals and performance style. This particular performance is so glorious and moving and wonderful and joyous.
Happy new year ❤❤❤
Thank you - Happy New Year to you too! ❤️❤️
And yes, this performance of Rain is just on another level...❤️
Rain (here, in The Girlie Show tour) is one of the most perfect vocal Madonna`s performances for her 40-year career. But of course Donna and Nikki are great too! It sounds so clean and soft! Great job from the Queen!
Absolute perfection! ❤️❤️
No need to say this is my favorite Madonna tour! I have the DVD and watched it too many times! She delivers a wonderful powerful performance in every song! I can't pick a favorite!
where other artists do the same choreo for their huge hits Madonna's Vogue always gets a completely different performance...outstanding
So true! She's such a creative person. ❤️❤️
Always a delight to rewatch those videos trough your eyes, you are very classy ladies.
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
The “Rain” performance is majestic! Better than the album single.
She asked Gene Kelly to consult on the choreography for this tour!!!
Fired after a week because Madonna was not satisfied with his work.
❤️❤️
This was the best Rain Performamce just mindblowing! And i love these tours when she did songs with Nikki and Donna. The 3 were harmonizing fantastic together! I think she included the 2 even in the 2000s shows, till the Confessions Tour! We loved the Erotica album, and we're really loving this tour so far! ❤️❤️
Although we may need to buy more tissues...
I was there London the show was amazing been a fan 38yrs the Queen of pop xx
What an amazing experience that must've been! ❤️❤️
Thank you for ur reaction. I love seeing women support Madonna and any female artist. What you are doing is rare and wonderful. Thank you❤
Aww, you're very kind. Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
It must've been amazing to see this in person! ❤️❤️
Happy New Year to you too! ❤️❤️
Love her short hair (and loved watching the metamorphosis of it throughout the Erotica album!)! ❤️
i was there on this night, friday 19th nov 93. this was not just a concert but an event. i was 15 and my parents let me go on my own (those were the days) i spent the day out the front of her hotel. i watched her work out in the hotel gym. i was on the news. there were 45,000 people there. you can see me on the film later on. it remains the best night of my life. btw the dance piece at the end of rain was choreographed by none other but gene Kelly. love u girls cant wait for part 2.
Thank you - Sending so much love to you! ❤️❤️
And wow!!
I’ve been loving you ladies enjoying se Madonna for a first time. I’ve each time
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
What a treat to see you ladies react to this wonderful concert. I too had tissues when I saw this live with another 52 000 fans in my hometown of Montreal Canada! The ride has just begun!! Can't wait for part two! 💖💖
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️
Will definitely need many more tissues!
Oh Ladies! This show was magnificent LIVE, I had center stage seats for Detroit. Just so enjoying your take and love for this Blonde with Ambition. #MegaMichiganMFan84
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
I did also! 😁
Oh ladies you had me tearing up during “Rain”. Love watching your Madonna reactions ❤
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
And we would love to get into that time capsule with you to see this live - What a show so far!! ❤️
I can’t wait to watch part 2!!
Wow!!! Thanks for this!!! What a great reaction! So emotional! Please, Paaaaart 2!!!! :)
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
I was anxious to come back home after work and watch you, girls.
Lovely reaction.
Madonna concerts "kick ass". I was also amazed by Madonna Voice here, in RAIN, and her range changes
OF course, DONNA & NIKKI always add that extra spice ❤️
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Great job again ladies. I am always eager for your next reaction as they are so genuine and heartfelt!! The Girlie Show is such a great concert! Im glad youre getting to enjoy it... the next section tells a real story. i think youll love it! Different in feel to the first part but just as wonderful❤
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Sounds great - We can't wait to see it! ❤️
Love that you expressed this as "music represented by moving paintings." Such an incredibly beautiful way to describe it. ❤️❤️
Although we haven't seen the rest of her tours (yet!), this definitely has to be one of the best. Just incredible on every level. ❤️
I enjoyed this. You ladies owe it to yourself to see her this current tour. The celebration tour
Thank you! ❤️❤️
We're actually seeing the current tour in April!
The girlie show is great❤❤❤❤❤
Madonna introduced the stripper pole before any rap artist did… Madonna always does it first…
The opening female dancer on the pole is Dancing with The stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba
Watched the first night of this tour in London. I was only 13, but loved it
Ah I await your videos every day I love following you ladies on your journey of Madonna. This will always be my favourite tour and unlike anything else . Keep up the amazing work
You're very sweet - Thank you for coming on this journey with us! ❤️❤️
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
And yes, this concert is just next level. ❤️
Love the new haircut!
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️
We really appreciate the background info that you shared regarding the tour inspiration (burlesque and cabaret). And the Gene Kelly story... So interesting!
Truly love the artistry she applies to everything she does. Nothing is random - It all serves a beautiful purpose in telling the story. ❤️
I always feel like it’s Christmas when I see you’ve posted an update!!!! So excited for you to see her on the celebration tour.
Aww, that's so sweet! ❤️❤️
We'll definitely keep our eyes open for the other musical references!
@@briandubois-gilbert8182 yes you're right, I was wrong, I had Fred in my head
Ok, I'm going to reserve this spot to make comments since my short-term memory is gone, I'll forget by the time the video is over. This is my fave tour from her, Blond Ambition broke, well, everything, but this one has a special place in my heart. I have the choreo in my muscle memory. That shimmy during fever was how I basically cleaned my house after seeing this. A feast for the eyes. Ummm, I got lost in the sauce watching, per usual...so no more thoughts, lol.
Love this!! Completely relate. 😂❤️❤️
You’re going to love it.
You’ve noticed the high heel boot she’s wearing, just so you know, she only tours in heels now. Probably why her legs look like buttah!! See you soon for part 2!
Have a nice night! ♥️
Thank you! ❤️❤️
And two nights in a row...
Aww, you're too sweet - Thank you! ❤️❤️
Happy New Year ❤❤
Great reaction!
Rain is stunning!! M can do massive production but here it’s toned down and is just magical . The blend of N&D with Madonna is a match made in heaven. I had goosebumps on opening night in London.
Thank you so much - Happy New Year to you too! ❤️❤️
Way better than the Blond Ambition Tour even though this one doesnt get the credit it deserves. Another awesome reaction from you two. Keep it up. You are the best.
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️
Agree with you. I like this more than BAT
Thank you! ❤️❤️
We've loved everything so far, but Rain was just... absolutely beautiful. ❤️
Hi ladies happy new year from Scotland. Love this tour so much. And Rain O.M.G was so emotional too, always gets me. The mix of Rain and singing in the rain was inspired. She showed it to Gene Kelly apparently a d he loved it....faaabb, roll on part 2...70's disco here we come, p.s will need hanky for the next part too
Happy New Year to you too! ❤️❤️
And thank you for the heads up on the hanky! 😉
I’m looking forward to your following Girlie Show reactions and your continued M journey. Thanks Again.
Aww, thank you so much! And we're so happy you're reliving your experiences along with us. ❤️❤️
Congratulations on seeing her 7 times - Our fingers are crossed that you'll make it to The Celebration Tour as well!❤️
Love the hair
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Hi ladies! What a joy to follow this journey through the Queen’s career! I was looking forward to seeing your reaction to the grand, sexual and romantic "Girlie Show"... together with you I feel like I'm watching the show for the first time!!! thanks!❤❤
One more thing: this video is the best Happy New Year I could receive👏🏼👏🏼
I wish you a great 2024!!!
Aww, thank you! Love that watching it with us makes it feel new again. ❤️❤️
You're too sweet! Happy 2024 to you too! ❤️❤️
I love the Girlie Show, one of my favourites, no doubt! it's so theatrical...and in the second part comes the big party!
BTW Happy New Year, and hope you keep your fabulous Madonna trip in 2024!
Happy New Year to you too! ❤️❤️
We hope you stay on the journey with us! ❤️
@@OurAnxiousReactions Of course!
😭😭 SO EMOTIONAL 😭😭
Oh yeah Madonna definitely worked out alot for this tour. Her thighs aren't usually this muscular. She worked her butt off for this show so when she performed on stage, it looked easy to do all the extensive dancing and singing live at the same time.
She looked (and sounded) amazing!! ❤️❤️
the black dancer guy is also the choreographer of the show plus he is in the fever music video you had seen previously…
That’s Carleton in the fever video? I didn’t know that. It never occurred to me.
as i know yes…@@taintedlife2618
Love this journey so much..your reactions are so authentic and mirrored mine...i saw this concert live and was blown away from start to finsh .rain has always been a fav of mine ..there are some incredible moments coming up..the theatricality and performance art presented here is beautiful, and at turns poignant and provocative ...love our lil agent provocateur...
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
We were blown away watching this all these years later on video... Can't even imagine what it was like in person!! ❤️
EMILY- From my screen name I'm sure you can tell I'm a stylist.........just wanted to say I like the new cut!! Loving the springy curls!!!!
Aww, thank you so much! That's so sweet of you to say! ❤️❤️
Brenda, you have such an open heart and artistic soul, it's a blessing! I'm sure you will have an amazing time when you see her live in April. :) Seeing you emotional, made me emotional :D
Aww, that's such a sweet thing to say - Thank you! So glad we can share these moments together (even if lots of tears are shed). ❤️❤️
Rain: Madonna with Donna & Niki at their greatest 😍😍😍

I’m living with you your journey throughout her career, and revisiting her work. She is not only a (good) singer, she is an holistic artist, pure art
So glad to find you ladies, ready to continue with you!
Regards from Barcelona! 😊
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
And love your description of her as a "holistic artist." Beautiful. ❤️
Yes yes yes ! Oh ladies I’m so happy you get to experience this !!
We're finally here! ❤️❤️
Madonna not only has the best dancers (imv), but she always lets them showcase their unique talents. The opening performance with the semi-nude pole dance is Carriei Ann Inaba, who came to be one of the original judges of 'Dancing With the Stars' and a daytime talk show host.
We love that the dancers always have their moments. ❤️❤️

Un abrazo!
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️
Even if we can't be there in person, we are sending you much love from here - Big hugs to you! ❤️
You guys should check ✅out the making of Madonnas frozen video 📹 it's really cool 😎👌👍
Thank you for the recommendation! ❤️❤️
The only show, besides the virgin tour (America only) I didn't see live. Still regret I didn't get tickets for this show in Paris, but I watched this DVD over and over again. One of my favorite shows.
Estuve en ese concierto, en Buenos Aires cuando Madonna vino por primera vez a Argentina. Imposible de olvidar tanta energía y pasaron 30 años!!
❤️❤️
Oh I've seen interviews of Niki and Donna and they're still reminiscing the beauty of that performance of Rain 🥰
No doubt! It was magical. ❤️❤️
I miss the 90s 😢
Gracias por la reacción, esperé mucho jajajsja, pero ya está aquí. Gracias
Yes, it's finally here! 😉❤️
Oh, I knew we were going to have a blast watching Rain live after the official video reaction 😊 And yeah, we're going to see many more M, Nicki and Donna moments but Rain is the most special one for me. They're still singing it together nowadays (without Madonna)
It really was such a special performance. ❤️❤️
The two of you are the least anxious people I've ever seen. Unless you hide it well... If so I need your secret. 😂
Okay, no offense at all coming from me.
We must hide the anxiousness well then! 😂 ❤️
And you're not the first person to mention the SNL skit, so there's clearly a connection. 😂😂😂
The next part omg lol
Wink😂😉
When is part 2 coming out
Right now! 😉❤️
Surprised you didn’t do the Tokyo show many people like that one more
nowt to say
