For all her legacy of music, creative artistry, activism, advocacy and philanthropy-I’m way beyond judging her by her age and physical attributes or whatever else she wants to do-it’s her body, her life, her choices-and really is nobody else’s damn business. I almost find the interviewer abusive to Madonna. He forces her to answer questions and sometimes responses to questions for her self, and on very personal subjects. The more I watch Madonna's interviews the more I understand her attitude and how she had to stood up for her self all these years. He was playing devil's advocate and challenging her on her opinions/choices. That's what a good journalist does. The result was some stellar answers from her. It only made me respect her more. When you challenge your subjects, you get better, more interesting answers. I'd much rather an interviewer do this than what they do now, which is essentially kiss the celebrity's ass.

But in the Larry King interview from around this same time with dark hair she looked chic and sophisticated and younger than she does here.
