Yes, this is absolutely possible with the parking brake engaged and an HDMI input and a source capable of viewing TH-cam (some copyright restrictions may block videos with this method) Another possible method is mirroring TH-cam videos from a compatible Android Phone with Mirrorcast feature. @@w8lifter21 No, the receiver does not support that type of video conversion. HDMI provides a Digital signal, and AV provides an analog signal. Basically, they are two different types of video input/output and just are not compatible with each other. Thanks!
Having this unit placed in my car by a certified kenwood dealer. They said a 360 birds eye view system cannot be placed in a $1200 unit I am not knowledgeable enough to know if that is true with this unit if it is possible how can I relay that to the installer. And what accessories would be needed to make it work.
You can add cameras to the Rear, Front, Left or Right but there is no 360 "Birdseye" feature. Currently, you are limited to 4 camera inputs with on-screen control to view one at a time or reverse when triggered and the front camera will come on under 5mph. Thank you
Steven, We have not verified fitment in that car. Looking up available parts for your Mitsubishi and it looks like there are aftermarket Dash Kits that fit a double din receiver, which is what the Receiver chassis requires. Thanks

The DMX1057XR is going to have Audiophile Grade components, X Brace Chassis, 5V preout, 3 way crossover control, Parametric Eq, are the Key differences. There are some cosmetic differences as well. When using the HDMI source input, can you send the video signal out of the Video Out to the rear monitors?
Julian, there is no rear HDMi output, but the receiver does offer rear source output from analog video in, and USB, as an alternate option. Thanks!

The receiver has built-in HDMI will which allow you to mirror the phone that way!
