How bout making a video of removing the unit, such as removing the screen from the radio, if you decide to sell your vehicle but keep the KENWOOD radio and put the factory back in

It's amazing the level of personalization built into the unit but unless you know what you're doing, it's best to leave to a qualified car audio shop like yours to get it right. Do you know if it this unit had volume control for XM too? Also the lack of optical out is very disappointing for a high end stereo. I would love for you guys to do some bench testing to see the actual voltage output and distortion levels in the future. Thanks!
The screen is way too big for your car.. You would've been better off with something smaller. it Covers your AC vents to much. I'll stick with my pioneer.. Thanks for the help
If you get the RR or RR2 module, right after you flash it, you can print a set of instructions, which include a detailed wiring diagram. Keep in mind, when you get the RR or RR2 you will also need the T harness for your specific car. In my case (f150) I needed the FO1 harness. You may also want an HDMI port. I got one on Amazon. You drill a hole, side of through and lock it into place with a nut on the backside. You may also want a usb adapter, if your car has a usb plug like mine. So my Ford Sync plug now is the radio's USB port.
I just installed the DMX1057XR in my 2005 Toyota Tacoma. I installed a new air bag that is designed for steering wheel controls. I was able to install steering wheel controls from a 2006 Toyota Camry, to find out I need to change my steering wheel clock spring, to plug the control in. My question is, do I need to install a new clock spring from a Toyota Camry also?? if so, will my Toyota Tacoma wire harness be compatible with the Toyota Camry clock spring?? Or what brand of clock spring do I need to install to make the stereo controls work? Thanks for your time and any information.

Preferably a OPTICAL OUTPUT with volume control...I had to search the internet for my Clarion nx708 with optical out and volume control...But i wish more manufacturors would build units with optical out...because yeah 2020...
Is the screen tilting capable of handling off-roading abuse? Like will the screen tilt position adjust on its own by the forces experienced when off-roading?
2020 wrx with Harmon kardon. Dnr1007xr, Maestro rr2, su3 harness. all audio sources randomly disconnect and reconnect. Also happens when locking doors. I have swapped with replacement and same symptoms.
Hi . I just bought a 2016 f250. I have to update Garmin map. The screen is not tilting forward so I can get at SIM card. Should I be forcing it, or do I need to loosen some bolts. Thanks:)
Looking to see if any of these floating screen radio's can use a extension cable to remote mount the screen- great for older cars to avoid cutting the dash. Right now, Pioneer seems to be the most obvious to offer this feature, but would love to know if any others do.

Even the CAM button doesn't give me the feed of the rear cam. However, when i put reverse gear rear camera feed comes on the screen. Can you help to resolve the issue

Hey. I hope you guys still respond to comments. I have this radio, well, the DNR1007XR, idatalink maestro RR2 and escort max 360c in my 2013 lincoln MKX. Everything works fine, except for the rear view camera is stock, and i get a lot of noise, fuzzy lines going through the screen when in reverse. Also, my radar detector, following your instructions, is in the right interface mode, but when I turn the car off, and turn it back on, the radar no longer works. I have to go through the radio and reset the maestro, and then it works again, til i turn the car off again. It will continue to work, if I power off the radar detector before I turn the car off, but it's inconvenient. Can you guys help with both my issues? Great videos btw. I actually used this video to help me install my kenwood lol.

I agree. The PAC kit would be a lot better with this radio. I think he likes the one he has based on appearance and some functions. Personally I think this kit is kind of ugly, especially with all of the exposed external connections. The only functions you’d lose with this radio and the PAC kit is the temp.
Does anyone know how far the screen comes down past the double din opening at its highest setting adjustment? Don't want to buy it to find out it hits my air con knobs below. I've got about 20-25mm of room below the opening. Thanks in advance.
Hey guys love the videos. I have one question about those head units like that. With the unit being mounted in front of th cars ac and heating vents. Is there any problems with over heating of the screen when the heat is running through the vents behinds the screen? I know when I have my phone mounted with a vent clip it shuts off when I have the heat on.

I have it in a '95 Bronco (fits perfect and doesn't block anything). It doesn't move or wobble at all.

I'm experiencing the same with the phone but I guess with this just make sure your vents are pointing upwards....
