I'm happy that "Begin Again" was mentioned, TTW and Begin Again are easely the best way to enjoy those games, feels more like a remake than a remaster, also consider adding "Titans of the new West" and removing PAVE, this will give you the power armours that truly feel like tanks.
4:59 simply uninstalling previously modded fallout games does not get rid of everything. u gottah go in the file directory and delete manually and/or use revo uninstaller

PSA: If you are like me and are going at this without a Nexus account, know that it will take around 2 hours just to line up all the downloads. There are 460 that you have to manually click download on, then wait 5 seconds. Wabbajack handles everything else, but just the clicking and waiting takes a long time. My downloads were capped around 15mbps using a free account.
The problem is not lining up the downloads, but the capped speed. Wasting 2 hours manually clicking the download button is nothing compared with the many hours that will take to download everything at 1-1.5MBps. However, it still saves you many hours in comparison with having to do everything manually.
@@Kazekoge101 Fallout 3 is a Bethesda studio game, it being remastered tells us nothing about the potential for a FNV remaster. If it is something they want to do, wouldn't they remaster it before Fallout 3? Fallout New Vegas is the far better game and the main demographic for any Fallout remaster agrees. It also needs the remaster more anyway, given the state it's still in. The point about the show is irrelevant, if it's even true.
If you play fallout 4 and want to install creation club mods stay away from the CC power armor skins and the gun skins. On console those CC pieces of content give you the 0 KB glitch. It basically breaks the game because when you try to save you can't because it says you have 0 kb of space left. And it's caused by the gun skins and power armor skins. The skins for other armors like metal armor etc basically any armor that's not power armor is fine. Just stay away from the gun skins and power armor CC skins if you're on console. Hope this helps anyone getting into fallout 4.
Don't forget to always max speech, perception and luck at start of the game to get the silver tounge run... If you like to charm calming everyone or convince anyone deeply into being friendly.
Its not about who should do it. Its more about who can do it. A Better approach would be to hold the producer/financing department under check and make it mandatory for them to have developer’s say first regarding any important decisions in games especially the development related decisions and ofcourse those related to monetization etc.
Unions are just as corrupt as the suits who run the show now. What is a better future for gaming is the increase in dev controlled studios in the indie scene

Bro what a coincidence. Last night I downloaded fallout NV to my legion go and purchased fallout 3 on it. Just woke up and got recommended this vid. Definitely going down this path.
Just installed Fallout TTW on my Legion GO and have been loving it, it's so nice to be able to lie in bed all the modern fallout games on a handheld. Something 12 year old me could only dream of.
Played fallout 4 lost world for the last year with 300 + mods. Playing vanilla is actually quite refreshing with only a few mods off the menu. Looking forward and hoping the next gen update improves some things
Steam Deck user here, getting these games running alone on the Linux based OS is relatively simple they mostly work fine but mods can be finicky though they do work yes, stability is an issue but if you mod these games it kinda comes with the territory

Playing my 4th play though of Vegas and Oml I swear this game get better everytime I replay it, the things you can miss on multiple play throughs is crazy
Holy sh*t! A quality IGN upload. Just a point that was missed and is essential. Both Fallout3 and NV MUST be installed outside of the default Steam directory, Program Files(x86), either on another hard drive or the same drive with the help of an additional downloadable tool.

Fallout 4 is getting a next gen update in 6 days. So the guide will be broken in a week. Hopefully, some of the broken engine problems will be fixed in that update. Fallout 4 is 8 years old, after all

The reason this is mod noob friendly is because it's a single location for all the mods you need. you just need to go to the page as he said and follow the list, but it will take hours without premium. Just don't over think it and begin the download grind or buy premium.
You really should mention stuff like only the Steam version of New Vegas is acceptable, and that this isn't anywhere near as easy as you state and also may require you to download unknown 3rd party software to correctly prepare your pc for installation. Wasted about $50 today trying to get this to work
Tried to follow this guide and this Wabbajack programme is the most user-unfriendly garbage that spits out endless errors about hashing. Trying to get a modlist to work with these ancient games is such a huge waste of time.
They will let ai remaster it and it will come out dogshit just like the gta remasters. When you do a big game like this or gta there is so much to do that it’s obvious they need to take shortcuts.
My favorite fallout mod is XRE Cars. Seriously, it provided me with so much enjoyment back in the day, if you havemt yet tried it, give it a whirl, takes a little setting up, but damn its fun
Make sure to put your acf files in "read only" before the update or most of those mods won't work and who knows when all of those mods will be fixed. The acf file for Fallout 4 is 377160.
Been modding new Vegas for years, this is the best / easiest way to mod. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, and someone is always willing to help on the discord
We need a Fallout remaster for consoles too, no joke Fallout 1+2 as retro pack edition 30$, than Fallout 3 + New Vegas pack as Steel Edition for fullprice, me = day 1💪.
You have to sign out of nexus through wabbajack client and then sign back in. Hit the settings in the top left and sign out then sign in. The downloads won’t fail after that.
Fallout New vegas does but Fallout 3, not so well. Read the negative reviews, many people are having trouble with F3. And IF you buy it, please use the key from MMOGA.
Please dont tell new Fallout gamers to mod Fallout. Thats a whole pandoras box theyre gonna have to open. And old Fallout gamers already mod the game till it breaks
@@Anubis-pm4tm wabbajack installation takes an entire work day to download all 300 mods and install them 1 by 1 and make sure they work. Nothing puts off a new player more than "you need 3 other 3rd party programs first before you play, and then spend 6 hours downloading addons and trying to get them to work together".
@@theobell2002 No you dont, there's only a few bug fixes and visual fixes that are worth installing for a pure vanilla experience, but they are entirely unneeded.
To anyone watching. HIGHLY recommend Tale of Two Wastelands (Even if you don’t get the full Begin Again pack). Running through new Vegas, it’s the best version of fallout 3 that exists hands down.

You can actually mod the PS3 version but it is very limited since the hardware isn't the best.

Nothing puts off a new player more than "you need 3 other 3rd party programs first before you play, and then spend 6 hours downloading addons and trying to get them to work together".
@@theobell2002 No you dont, there's only a few bug fixes and visual fixes that are worth installing for a pure vanilla experience, but they are entirely unneeded.

They're actually incredibly easy to install unless you don't know how to use a computer.
To anyone watching. HIGHLY recommend Tale of Two Wastelands (Even if you don’t get the full Begin Again pack). Running through new Vegas, it’s the best version of fallout 3 that exists hands down.
