I was not told anything, I joined prolapse groups on Facebooks and learned a lot from women who had surgery. They have been angels with tips and support. I laid rather than sit, all last week was a problem sitting. Thank you

Omg 🎉🎉🎉 Thank youuuu so much for this video. I’m 12 days out from stage 4, complete reconstructive prolapse surgery, and “fire vagina” set in a few days ago 💥 plus general pain in sitting. You gave some amazing tips. Thank youuuuu !! 🫶🏻
I am at 5 days post operative. I cannot sit or stand for long. Having excruciating pain when i have to go to the loo for number 2. Just frustrated. The pain is unbearably. I never thought of that. I thought there was nerve injury ?? But i giving it time
I’m so sorry! Are you in contact with your doctor about it? I found I had to be very forceful to make them listen to me, which I hated, but it was necessary.
I’m 2 weeks post op and still in a lot of pain. @taylerjensen how many weeks did it take to fully recover. I’m definitely ordering a few of the things you recommended. The sitting down is no joke. Thank you for all your recommendations.
@@cristy1rocha it took me more than 6 weeks to feel remotely better. My doctor refused to listen and I ended up with a revision surgery for mesh poking through the site. It was a nightmare.
@@TaylerJensen OMG! No matter how many different things I’m trying to have a bowl movement, it’s not helping much. I called my doctor and was told to continue what I was doing if it doesn’t improve I need to visit the ER. I’m not straining hard, but just the slight push I can feel the pain on the muscle they attached the sling. I’m glad to hear you’re doing much better. I’m regretting getting this procedure done, not my hysterectomy.
@@TaylerJensen😢😢omgg they are still using mesh??😮😮 scheduled for my prolapse in 30 days at the Mayo Clinic. I have been postponing this for the very reason of not wanting the mesh. My doctor at MAYO says they use human cadaver to make a sling. Mesh is no longer used. I would advise you to look into the long-term ramifications of mesh if you’re already having problems, I know there have been many lawsuits and documentaries about this subject. All the best and blessings for your Godspeed healing.
I've had 2 prolapse surgeries and they both failed. First one they used my own tissues to cinch up my bladder. It failed within 2 months. They then used a xenograft, failed within 8 months. So depressing.
I'm sorry to hear that both prolapse surgeries failed. What is your doctor telling you now? I had prolapse surgery 5 months ago and it failed at 2 months. I've had constant pain since then . I don't know what to do at this point.
It couldn't sit without a donut cushion for like 6-8 weeks. NOTHING like tearing after birth. That said, my surgery ended up being much more involved than expected, so I'm not sure what's "normal."

Laying is smart. I was on a donut cushion for about 8 weeks.
Is sitting getting easier? I couldn’t sit without a donut cushion for nearly two months 😳

Omg. I'm not watching anything and I should be. Scary. You are so brave.
I didn’t watch anything either. And I’d do it again, but there’s so much I wish I’d known going into it.

So thankful it's helpful! How are you feeling now?
How are you now 4 months later?
Thank you
So glad this was supportive!
Thank you so much. What medication did you have? I missed the name. Azo and?
Basically just the prescription version of AZO. The one I used was called nitrofurantoin.

This this for rectocele recovery?

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry! I have a bladder sling, but I'm told the surgery likely won't be effective forever.
How depressing, how there is another option.

I’m going on my 2 week post op
How are you feeling?
When my doctor told me that she can go in through the vagina, to fix the prolapse I did not think about the the cut in the perieneum !!! OMG!
