- On the 21/ 01/ 2024 into the early hours of 22/01/2024, Many parts of the country was hit by storm Isha, hitting the highest speed of 99 mph up in the north east, approx 02:30 AM, i reckon at our house the wind speed was 85 to 90 mph, and unfortunately my storm Isha took out my shed behind my garage to unsafe to go in and have a look, it also took out my Clark car shelter that i keep my ride on mower and other equipment
So sorry you're going through this Nev glad more damage didn't happen ! We'll pray for clearer weather so you can make cover 🙏

Nevermind Nev, I agree, as long as your safe, it’s just a tent, good luck on the clean up and repair
Yes, all safe. I've been out trying to sort mess out but wind is still bad so it can wait till it dies down
@@tinkeringtaylor3053 yeah you can’t tidy up with bad wind Nev 🤣🤣🤣 but good to be outside with bad guts
@@STTC totally agree Steve, supposed to be another storm tomorrow 😭
wow,, that was a rough one, hopefully you can get some kind of shelter put back up for your lawn equipment.,
Just can't get anything done at moment wind still bad and we are expecting another storm tomorrow
Hi Nev. Too bad about the tent. I have a similar outdoor garage like that and last week I had to tie it down to some engines inside for fear it was going to blow away! Storms are up everywhere. If you hadn't said WIND, I was thinking this was the work of a pack of Wild Haggis. They are known to get rowdy an bust things up. On another topic, the stone wall adjacent is amazing!! What craftsmanship went into building that structure. I love old stone works like that. All the Best. A new tent will someday come along and this will be behind you. take care!
Never thought about the pesky haggis. They will be scared these days as it burns night 25/01/2024, so it's haggis for supper 😋, got my thinking cap on now on what I can put in place of the tent
Maybe there is something you can lean up against that stone wall? Boards from the top of the wall on an angle, forming a triangle of space below?@@tinkeringtaylor3053
Good spirit......a new day....and this will be behind you!
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals all ready is
Wow Nev she smacked you rather hard there! Well you Know I no what that's like! Hopefully all will work out for you glad you made it through OK mate🙏🏾
It's been a bit rough. We are a lot lucky that other people, as other people further south, I believe there has been 2 people died 😢
@@tinkeringtaylor3053 Wow! sad!
Sorry about all the damage Nev, glad you and the family are ok brother.
Hopefully you can get it all sorted soon, good luck buddy.
Thanks, John. supposed to be more high winds and rain tomorrow 🙄
Oh no, just what you need right now.
@@Big_Johns yep sure is fingers crossed 🤞 we just get the tail end of it
Sorry about your tent, I think we have another storm about to hit us. It may be worth waiting for that to pass before trying to cover anything up. We really struggle with tents and tilts due to the high winds we seem to get most winters and need to build something stronger
All electrical equipment has been put away, just the mowers left now. I got my thinking cap on what to replace the tent with
Wow the storm made a mess. It was bad here to.
Little bit mess Niel, but better off than some, just got a tail end o another storm but not due to hit top speed till later on tonight
my niebour lost his shed roof!! my wheelie bin blew over 🤣🤣 rip your tent nev sure you will get your gear covered soon bud 👍👍
That's James just leaving it at the moment more stormy weather due tomorrow, so waiting till after that
So true so true, we repair all manner of things......may as well fix the tent!
Had a price for new frame parts and it's nearly cheaper to buy a new car port 😂
I can't remember the channel name.@@tinkeringtaylor3053 . A guy who fixes mowers had Shelter Logic covers keep ripping on his garage. He went and used tarps and showed how he improved the design.
I could not tell whether your frame was going to be fixable with some added improvements or if you have to start from scratch.
Taking from the comments on your video, I gather you are going to manage in the end.
@Dancing_Alone_wRentals I am looking at a 30ft shipping container but at moment its the access as our fields are soaking wet at moment
That will be a great score if you can land one of those @@tinkeringtaylor3053. A paint job is mostly all that is needed to keep those boxes going strong for many years.
Hey nev, not good but i suppose it could be worse, stay safe and positive brother
Thank you, Jason. we have been lucky compared with other parts of the country, supposed to be another storm hitting us tomorrow so see what happens
How's she goin'? Oh my Neville. That is terrible eh. The tent sure didn't handle the storm too good. Glad to hear you are OK. Too bad about the tent though. I hope all your gear is OK too. Take 'er easy!!
Hi Mike 👋, we are supposed to have more stormy weather tomorrow, so I got all the electrical stuff away, just the mowers, so they should be OK for now
I hope you make out OK Neville. I know what it's like when a storm blows through!!! We'll be praying for ya buddy!!@@tinkeringtaylor3053
@GrampiesWorkshop thank you Mike for the kind words 🙏
Chin up.. the summer will soon be here..
Carnt wait, Mick, I have to get my thinking cap on what i am going to get or build 🤔
So true so true.......how time goes by so quickly. Spring is on the way!
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals it sure is
