Historical National Anthem of South Africa - « Die Stem van Suid-Afrika » (Rare Version)

- The other day I was Webbing a bit when I accidentally came across a beautiful old 1926 recording of Die Stem van Suid-Afrika. This rare version was the first time Die Stem was ever recorded, at the time what was then known as the Union of South Africa didn't have a national anthem yet (If you don't count God Save the King) and it was only until 1938 when South Africa had a song of their own.
By the way, the woman you are hearing singing, her name was Steyn, Betty
and only the first and third verses of the song can be heard.
Note: I don't care if the anthem is considered racist, you either listen to it for educational sake or you get out of here.

If you look at the lyrics, they are VERY similar to the ones of Nkosi sikelele iAfrika.
Also, the NP won the elections in 1948 and apartheid was instated in 1961 so this was actually recorded before apartheid and two years before the adoption of the oranje-blanje-blou as national flag. And till some years ago the whole lyrics were on the ANC website so I do not think it is considered racist. Specially given it is part of the actual anthem.
