Very nice! I have a collection of M7’s, The Imperial is very nice! I have 3-4 Imperial, 4 BOC, 2 Colt, and a couple Germany! I got most of mine back before the price went through the roof! Two of mine are uncirculated like yours. The M7 is my favorite bayonet!
Great vid, I have a very similar knife I bought in the 70's same blade and fittings but mine has a leather handle with the rings carved into it. Cheers from New Zealand.
Depends on the company that made it milpar getting pricey of course mine was used during the war is marked on scabbard etc . Abs got to remember the Ontario still make these today new in box as they used in other countries still .
Got the same sealed m7 the box and taping r the same although I opened the box much more carefully as will b displaying in box. The number is from the repack production date is 73 also this is ment to be Sharp and double as a knife not just a bayo for sticking.
I recently got a reproduction M7 from an outfit in Michigan called “World War Supply”, to go with my “retro” AR. It seems to be correct in every detail except for the scabbard, particularly the tip, which is a separate part on the original but on mine is part of the whole piece. Other than that it looks to be a pretty accurate copy. The only weird thing about it is that it has no markings or any information on the packaging - and I looked, believe me - as to where it was made or by whom. I’m guessing China, since I suspect that the vendor might not have wanted customers to see that. It is well-made, though; the build quality is nothing to be ashamed of. Only thing I’m sure of is that it isn’t US-made, cuz if it were, it would definitely say that somewhere. Also it probably isn’t from Japan, as it would likely have been more expensive in that case. It cost me $70 bucks out the door. Maybe that’s a lot for a repro M7 but an authentic one I found online (advertised as 1973 production) was going for a bit more than a hundred bucks, and I’m not a collector, so I figured the $70 repro work just fine with my rifle. Anyway, I’m guessing the source as PRC, maybe S. Korea, maybe Taiwan, maybe even Vietnam; if the latter, that would be particularly ironic. Know anything about where these repros are coming from?
Just got the same one, imperial marked.. Was kind of surprised about the boot lace. Guess they really do come like that. I thought maybe it was used. Nice video

I just got an M5A1 for my Garand in a similar condition. I'm here because I decided my 590A1 also needs a bayonet. Thanks for the video!

No fitment issue with the m9 on the 590.
The a 1974 designation was the contract with the manufacturer and the government

Know anything about where these repros are coming from?
I’m not sure, and with no markings on it, it will be difficult to get an exact answer. You could try reaching out to the seller.
@@MNWoodland I did send them an email but they have not responded up to now.
Can I have the link where they sell them? Thank you
Awesome! Video broI have the same knife but it doesn't have a ring guard it was cut to be a regular knife
How expensive is a Conetta m7? I have one
That is a very interesting piece of history.
Bro this video is really helpful 😊
Destruction of the wrapping may have hurt the collectability value significantly.
Who was the seller. I would love to pick one up.
I checked recently, the Amazon listing isn’t there anymore. There’s a ton on eBay though, not many in the box however.
Uh, 1976 isnt vietnam era.

Thanks!
"Boot Lace" is a leg tie down.
Get the usmc okc3s bayonet
Ok
New sub here. Nice video. Would you be able to link the seller of the bayonet in Amazon? Thank you. Want to get one as well.
Thanks! Unfortunately it looks like it’s no longer available from the seller I got it from. There are other listings for m7 bayonets though.
Shouldn't that one have stayed sealed for another 50 years and be high value?
Probably not by much, would rather open it now and display it.
Also have the same one and opened it just a lot more carefully as will display with box it is also part of the item now to display..
