  • In this video we show how to hang Christmas Lights from the Goat, Ladder, and bucket truck.
Hanging Christmas lights on a steep roof can be dangerous if you do not have the skill set or proper equipment. The most basic PPE is "cougar paw" boots. We also use the "goat steep assist" tool and the "Ridge Pro" with harness and lanyard.

I hope that your Landscape friend reciprocates and gives your company some work. That's a great way of building a great working relationship and getting some additional business in the future. The best arrangements are win-win. GL.

I’ve done this before on 12/12 roofs. It’s a miracle no one fell off, we sure could’ve used a bucket lift. Glad to see you’re organized and safe👍

Great video thank you. I'm just curious...why you didn't use any safety gear with that Goat? Especially with such an extreme pitch. You've shown how easy it is to do gutters safely, was surprised to see this. I know it saves time but it just takes one unfortunate slip/mistake, just not worth it for me.

Has anyone made a video about how to do jumpers? And how to start the line? Like how do you start the first line of wire?

Is there anyway we can reach out and ask a few questions on this and how to get started? I’m with Prestige Power Washing and we have multiple homes this year that are wanting their Christmas lights done.

Going rate in my area (central NC) is around $500 for the companies that provide the lights and $400 for roofers to come and hang the lights that your provide. Standard size house in a subdivision - about 45’ of lights needed on the second story.
