I find it easier to pound in the pvc, if you cut the bottom at a 45 degree angle instead of straight across. The sharper point make pounding it in easier.
Great ideas! Looks gorgeous and I love the narrator's voice, so calm and easy listening, and the little added enthusiasm makes it sound like he really enjoys doing this! Reminds me of Mr Rogers!
I've been doing this for a couple of years now - it's really fun! I've made a gingerbread house, two sets of gifts, and this year I just finished making an igloo for my penguin. Wish I could share pictures - they all look really awesome!
Her house is so beautiful!! I would've done that technique with the garland on the columns instead of an arch. That carpet would be a trip hazard and the arch would need to be raised for taller people.
I feel the arch would look better if it was taller and didn't circle around to the ground. Just leave it straight down the side columns. As it is it looks like a Hobbit door. 😊
The first one got better once it got wrapped around the like the garland. To each their own, but I will never really like rope lights. They look kinda okay when on but so tacky and out of place when off.
Hi there. Hey i want to encourage you to make several channels. Make a news channel and a story time channel. Just read and pretty much anything and make long videos. You can make clips of the longer vids for shorts to gain followers but.. your voice has a certian smoothness that many people would be happy to listen to. Doesnt matter really what you read or say, people will listen because your voice for whatever reason is soothing loke the older radio ahow host that many people would listen to and fall asleep at the sound of the radio show host soothing voice.
Grow ya a mustache and your finally ready to cruise neighborhoods in your panel van and lure the unsuspecting to see the inside of that van with creepy monotone voice!
DINING TABLE LOOKS ELEGANT, YOUR HOME IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT, THAT ARCH IS NOT FOR INDOORS.. MAYBE PUT A GARLAND N MISTLETOE INSTEAD.. THAT ARCH IS TOO LOW, EVERYONE IS GONNA HAVE TO DUCK LOW , OR TEASE YOU AND ACT IF THEY ARE PLAYING THE LIMBO..
When Aunt Susie come for dinner in her electric wheelchair its gonna come tumbling down on that elegant table and might flip Aunt Susie and her wheelchair over. For Real, that's very dangerous.
Can’t find spay paint :( J/k! The arch was very nice, I would of tried to cut the button, and lift the arch about 2 ft. Maybe some lights in there as well. Great idea.
Absolutely beautiful ❤️. I love this idea. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄🎄⛄🎋🎍 Not a fan of the indoor arch . It's a trip hazard. Decorating the doorway would have been better...just my opinion. The first one was absolutely beautiful.
Yes PVC pipe cracks when hit by a hammer. Any tube, short of thick metal, will crack, bend, snap or be crushed when hit by a hammer. To help “prevent” this from happening simply place a piece of wood, a 2X4 or 1/2” plywood for example, on the top of the PVC pipe. Now hammer the wood not the pipe. It’s that simple
The indoor arch turned out pretty but it appears to be quite short. I am imaging many friends and family would be crouching very low to get through. Concerned about the tripping potential as well.
They are both so beautiful, I enjoyed watching them both set up the decorations. I like the indoor arch very much, I probably would have added white lights for ambiance and maybe turn the lights down at the table. It’s beautifully done! Have a Merry Christmas 🎄
What would add to the indoor decor is hanging some shiny balls from the dining room chandelier at different heights with ribbon. If you have any more greenery, you could put it around the top of the chandelier with another of your plaid bows.
We did this for several years to make it more stable we hammered rebar down the center of the pipes about a foot or so in the ground. That did the trick. It didn’t move.
That indoor arch at the beginning is too short... Tall people will have to frequently stoop. The arch is cute, but doesn't seem to take into consideration tall people.
Sadly, I didn't like either. The square arch did nothing for me and the one in the house is too clumsy and intrusive. As someone else said, I would have decorated the columns and forgone the archway entirely. It seems to be more an archway to do balloons on, not garland. But this is my own personal taste. If they love it, great. It's just not for me.
Great, more landfill plastic for a cheap decoration you’ll use once and make another next year. How about give your kids/grandkids the gift of a future 🌎
I was trying to make a circle with half inch pipe 20 foot long .i had a 20 foot piece of chain link top rail and put 20 strings of lights down to the big circle of pipe but as I almost had it where it was about to connect it sounded like it was going to break. My neighbor was sitting at his gate watching and got out and came over and said son why don’t u put 1 end in your tail pipe and warm it up. Why didn’t I think of that. Is was freezing when I did this and after I did that it just went together so easy
Its gorgeous and I love it… but…2 balls are a little bit funny and so unbalanced… I learned that its having odd numbers such as 3, 5, 7 to make it Fung-sway… but for sure will make my dumpy old single wide trailer much more festive
Hometalk these are repeats, we should be seeing new videos each year! Iv been watching you for years and it's all what we've already seen. I also think the arch greenery looks really tired. Time for some new Decorations! How about investing in a rectangle frame? 😊
Nice, however, this isn't technically an arch. It's more of an square, arches are more rounded in the middle at the top. Aside, from that, GREAT JOB. GENIUS IDEA.
Very nice 🎄 Looks like a lot of work you say "Genius!!" They never work this HARD 😂😂 I Procreated a couple of star children 😆 My daughter said chicken wire goes a long ways 😂😂
I don’t mean to offend others creative projects, because at least he attempted to do something. But yeah, that’s a big MEHHH for me. One small gust of winter storm weather here in the Midwest and that plastic is going down! I thought at first he was going to run the LED’s in the PVC and stick them out of holes drilled into the PVC pipe. 🤣🤣
I find it easier to pound in the pvc, if you cut the bottom at a 45 degree angle instead of straight across. The sharper point make pounding it in easier.
If anyone is interested in making the 1st arch should remember that they make GREEN zip ties.
It's like this. Not my style, but if my hubby even halfway attempted doing this for Christmas, I'd be thrilled!!😮
Pretty arch, but needs to be high so you don’t have to duck down to walk through, great idea, and good job.
Your voice is so soothing! Bob Ross Vibes
Clever and Creative
Great ideas! Looks gorgeous and I love the narrator's voice, so calm and easy listening, and the little added enthusiasm makes it sound like he really enjoys doing this! Reminds me of Mr Rogers!
The arch would be really cute outside.
I Absolutely Love that Man's voice. So soothing and he's so soft spoken. I love his craft ideas. Praying for his shakes. 🙏
Is that indoor arch for oompa loompas? It looks tacky with that ramp and carpet. Decorating the columns would be so much classier
I've been doing this for a couple of years now - it's really fun! I've made a gingerbread house, two sets of gifts, and this year I just finished making an igloo for my penguin. Wish I could share pictures - they all look really awesome!
You should do a video on them! People would love it
Great idea. Yes, family did right by wrapping lights -- gives it finished look. Thanks!
Her house is so beautiful!! I would've done that technique with the garland on the columns instead of an arch. That carpet would be a trip hazard and the arch would need to be raised for taller people.

🎄🍬⛄Love The Christmas Arch Ways , So Creative🎄⛄🍬
Really nice. Thanks for the video!
The same cadence and use of soft voice as Bob Ross.
Happy trees. 😄
The second archway is a wonderful idea but I will use green tape or spray paint the arch green to help hide the white more. Thanks for sharing.
I love this! 👍👍
👍👍 🥰 🐾
I like ponding in the ground 😅
Yes, rope light looked tacky, until it was wrapped around pvc.
The first one got better once it got wrapped around the like the garland. To each their own, but I will never really like rope lights. They look kinda okay when on but so tacky and out of place when off.

He needs to create his own DIY channel because he has some great ideas often
@@Danajanene He's also a pretty cool guy 😀
Grow ya a mustache and your finally ready to cruise neighborhoods in your panel van and lure the unsuspecting to see the inside of that van with creepy monotone voice!
@@ryguy4life138sounds like you've got creepy down pretty tight with that suggestion. By the way its "you're"not "your". Get it right guppy.
I agree! Your voice is very nice to listen to! Good luck with your TH-cam journey!
Instead of zip ties you can get green wire ties in the garden section of the big box home improvement stores.
You can also use PVC with a shop vac to vacuum your gutters

Amazing 😄👍
Thanx HomeTalk 🖐

Basic idea is solid but definitely could use some tweaking. I’d be embarrassed to put it on TH-cam
Good idea...but the finished product looks tacky....but nice try🤔
I love men who can decorate! 🎄😊
Lol his family redid it. It looked better too. Thanks fam🤶🎅sorry dad. I thought u did a great job for a guy.
You can also spray paint the zip ties to hide them in the garland.
SO BEAUTIFUL
Anyone else more interested in that GINORMOUS tree she has in her living room??? Lol
It's pretty for sure, but would need to be at least 7 ft tall at my house. I have tall Grandson's.
Tension Rods are great for doorways.
YOU ARE VERY RIGHT.
Beautiful ideas!
Arch came out decent but if you have a tall guest, it might not work
This guy sounds like he could be a character on Family guy 😂
I would use a real archway for the second and make it taller. The circle is making me feel like I have to bend down and I'm 5'1".
Nice share

Dude sounds like he's a Bob Ross fan...hehe
Don’t quit your day job buddy!!
Great idea for the archway, but I'd go some conduit to bend easier.
That lady made a nice archway, but she must not have cats..
Very pretty. Thank you.. where did you purchase your table and chairs. I love them
The indoor arch turned out pretty but it appears to be quite short. I am imaging many friends and family would be crouching very low to get through. Concerned about the tripping potential as well.
Ha ha. I can just imagine. 😊
They are both so beautiful, I enjoyed watching them both set up the decorations. I like the indoor arch very much, I probably would have added white lights for ambiance and maybe turn the lights down at the table. It’s beautifully done! Have a Merry Christmas 🎄
Hit the pvc with a hammer & 2x4 . Great idea there
"It looks great"
😂🤣😂🤣😂

This is LEAST, "new" way people are decorating for xmas since the invention of the driveway. 😂
So beautiful ❤
Good luck pounding that pole in the ground during winter. Depending where you live.
What the name of those lights
Matches the curb appeal of this house
When you confuse Christmas with Halloween.
We did this for several years to make it more stable we hammered rebar down the center of the pipes about a foot or so in the ground. That did the trick. It didn’t move.
Great ideas thanks guys. 😊
I would like to know more on how to make that beautiful bow
That indoor arch at the beginning is too short... Tall people will have to frequently stoop. The arch is cute, but doesn't seem to take into consideration tall people.
First gust of wind would knock over the outdoor one.
Beautiful . ♥️🎄

🎉🎉It's Beautiful I love it 🎉🎉🎉
Put a fitting on the end when you're hammering the pipe in the ground. It will protect the pipe.
Where can I buy the rope light? Please post a link.
Anywhere that doesn’t have taste and sells tacky items.
Now I think you just hit the jackpot with this..Good going!!+ Love Hugs and a Merry Christmas Barbie 🤶 🎄 😊
Gorgeous ❤

One strong breeze or ice,,and that's a goner,,,we should use the cheap metal pipe,or wood joints🎉,,nice gloves😂
Pipe cleaners are a very good idea.
He's giving Bob Ross

how to do those light like flow
Unique ideas 💡❤
BEAUTIFUL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE A BLESSED HOLIDAY REMEMBER JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS THE REASON FOR CHRISTMAS👑🌹👍💯👈
Nice, however, this isn't technically an arch. It's more of an square, arches are more rounded in the middle at the top. Aside, from that, GREAT JOB. GENIUS IDEA.
That was cute but kinda tacky indoors. Not something I would do in my house. I can just see folks tripping on that.
Agree !
Agree. Too low and missing lights
I didn't like it either.
The "tripping over", that part
I can just see Aunt Susie trying to cross through with her electric wheelchair or Uncle Bob with his electric walker 😮
Very nice 🎄
Looks like a lot of work you say "Genius!!" They never work this HARD 😂😂 I Procreated a couple of star children 😆
My daughter said chicken wire goes a long ways 😂😂
The weather we get here in Buffalo, it wouldn't last long.
Who is ASMR voice guy in the beginning of the video?
It's a secret 🙂
Please play with the Garland and fluff it up.
Where did you buy that rope light from?
Where can I get some of that green spay paint? Lol
Great job! You must have a really short family..
How many feet was the light strip?
She used a rug to cover the bottom of the arch so it wouldn't be a trip hazard.
I'd probably trip on the rug while hitting my head on the arch and bring the whole thing down. 😂
Well, if thats what you like. 😊

The arch is wacky tacky. Hard pass on that idea. 👎
Nice ornament, but I would do it higher
Is the indoor arch tall enough.
What do you cut the pipe with?
Sorry, but that indoor arch was looking a little out of place. Would be great for a grade school Christmas party.
nice 😊❤
The gloves...lol
