I couldn't help myself and developed a theory. The theory is that Beast Wars Silverbolt is the reincarnation of Starscream. Some would say that is not true because in an episode Starscream posseses the body of Waspinator while Silverbolt was a protophorm in a stasis pod but keep in mind that Starscream travelled back in the past so in other words time travel shenanigans. Why I'm saying because the creator of this Netflix possibly hinted and retconned. The relationships that Black Arachnia has with Dinobot,Air Razer(kissing her for saving her,a callback to BW Silverbolt) and mainly Starscream.Yes is true that she is using him but in this show their relationship is emphasised especially when she notice that Starscream's episodes/visions manifest while they are in the Ark/Teletron.Another thing to point out is that in Beast Machines Silverbolt was reformatted into Jetstorm, general of aerial drones vehicons who's personality was similar to that of Starscream.Another callback/subtle hint is when Starscream ask Dinobot if knows about his heroic deeds whereas Black Arachnia tells him she knows but it was a lie.But that is my thought tell me what you think?
This trilogy seems to be a correction to the 80's Transformers: The Movie problem. In the movie, the Matrix is what destroys Unicron. Well, the problem with that is the Transformers show was based on toy sells and not a real story line. The lore for The Matrix of Leadership has changed from being able to destroy a planet size Transformer to being no more then a key to the Allspark that can transform anything, even the Ark turning into a transformer. So this trilogy is a correction to the 80's movie where in the new 20's Transformers movie be Unicron vs. Cybertron in the biggest Rock'em Sock'em Robots you ever seen! The biggest change so far is Humans being removed completely is a major improvement!
My favorite part in Kingdom was Starcreams Arc. It's kinda refreshing to see this character have an epiphany and despite he's totally scared as the coward he is, he still tries his best to chance the future for all. It is a strange way how you can make a coward take brave actions without making it a character assassination. I mean he hasn't chanced personality wise he's still the same Starcream yet he somehow is way more heroic in his own way. Like I said this was rather refreshing for a Character we have seen so many times in the transformers franchise.
Agreed, they did it perfectly. Just wish they could've got the voices right for beast wars Optimus and Megatron, it was distracting in such a weird way. That's my only gripe, otherwise I loved every moment!
@@c.glazercrush3994 Really when was this brought up in this serie? I must have missed it. Even you are talking about G1 Transformers the Movie scene. I sadly have to say that's a different universe not timeline. This is because in Transformers War of trilogy there are some characters that have appeared that don't exist in G1 and I'm not talking about Beastwars because that Show and G1 exist in the same Universe.
They really should have let him live for future series, this is the third time we see Dinobot die, again! He only got three episodes of screentime so his death wasn't as impactful as the original Beast Wars. To be honest I did not expect this series to include so many characters from across different iterations of Transformers lore. It was so much fan service I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed seeing them divide Megatron's emotions so he's just a little more than a power-hungry villan. Optimus kinda got on my nerves at times, but still I overall enjoyed the show and may actually rewatch certain episodes.
I almost cried when Elita One apeared as a spark ghost and talked to Prime before joining the allspark. I like how this ended, except for the cliffhanger with Galvatron, unless they make a continuation of this show.
Not only he sounded terrible. He is a different character than BW. Beast Wars Megatron was the equivalent of Megatron and portraying him as servant is nonsense. Not only a huge disappointment but the biggest waste of the season.
I was expecting Waspinator possessed by the ghost of Starscream interacting with Starscream… but I think it was too specific for general audience. At least his ghost was mentioned…
There was a scene, where the Autobots and Maximals were looking at a hologram of mountain valley. It was where they determined the Allspark was. The valley itself though was shaped like the flying island from a classic Beast Wars episode. Was I the only one who noticed that?
back when siege started i didnt think this would be as good as prime but its pretty decent or good but i am so glad that the new series (cyberverse and woc trilogy) didnt focus on humans as they are set in the prehistoric era i think
The multiversal singularity idea was gotten rid off years ago during transformers prime, now there are multiple versions of Unicron and the Primes through the multiverse
I think it was a great series overall, but the original voices for the characters not coming back was a bit of letdown. Not to mention the voice actors that were used seemed to be actually reading the scripts as they did their parts, which was another turn off.
Is no one going to mention how Blackarachnia helped Megatron steal the golden disc here, but was actually a Maximal in a stasis pod on the Axalon at that time.
When time travel and paradoxes get involved in a story, viewers are expected to get their brains in full mode to comprehend things...and if these are still used for the next trilogy, I hope there will be interactions between the Dinobots and Dinobot!
Great video but I’d like to correct you on one thing. Yes Unicron was once a multiversal singularity as in literally every incarnation of the character from the original 1986 movie to the original Marvel comic and even the early 2000’s Unicron trilogy cartoons are in fact the same guy just traveling in different universes. The same goes for Primus the god of Transformers and the original Thirteen Primes. This was a really cool idea made by Fun Publications when they had the License for the official Transformers convention BotCon. They attempted to make every continuity in the Transformers so far connected into one overarching multiverse story. However as new cartoons, comics, and storylines came to be such as the Transformers Prime cartoon and the IDW comics, there was a lot of conflicting ideas that made the whole one Multiversal being thing look confusing. So Fun Publications and Hasbro decided to release a story in the comic strip of the Transformers collectors club magazine where they showed some weird Crisis on Infinite Earths level of retconing. Essentially they retconned it so that now every Unicron appearing in any media that is another continuity or universe is his own being. So by this time the Unicron that appears in this cartoon is his own being separate from the other Unicrons. Thank you for coming to by Tedtalk.
I enjoyed this and it was great to see so many different Transformers mythos in one place. I wish this was turned into a whole series because we have so much to touch on
Really glad to get a summary because I wanted to know how it ended without actually subjecting myself to the weird voice acting choices constantly being made in the series
I have been wanting Transformers to use the time crisis plot FOREVER because I've always imagined characters from different transformers shows being able to interact...think of all the new FRESH stories we can get if Hasbro & Takara Tomy continue where WFC has left off...no more reboots, no more trilogies where we can easily guess the outcomes, the ability to keep giving us the same toys esthetically...🤞🤞
I'm expecting to see hotrod or rodimus show up from another timeline. I love big bot bit I think having hot as the one to use the matrix and defeat unicorn would be fitting.
Unicron's name is derived from the two words, "uni" which is Latin for "one" and "cron" which is Greek for time, so his name implies that you have only "one time" or one opportunity to defeat Unicron, or he will bring about your destruction.
I actually really liked this series, it was super nice to see a Transformers series or just Transformers in general without humans (that was the best part of this hole thing)
Im a lifelong G1 fan and I think they did a good job with this. While I do think it was a bit confusing, some fan favorite characters didnt get much to do, and some of the voice acting was questionable, I feel your 7.5 rating is spot on. Thanks for the videos! Cheers!
Didnt think it was possible to get worse voice acting but bw Megatron takes it to another level. Enjoyed the show for what is was. The code of a hero ep was still no match for the original but was fun to see
With all the rightful criticism of She-Man and other reboot abominations, Transformers is not getting enough attention much less credit for doing it right.
I liked it for the most part. Only weaknesses were the voices of Optimus Primal and Megatron (T-Rex). I'm mot sure how the ball was dropped there, contract issue with voice actors or something else, but that was my biggest issue.
The only real complaints that could be had about this trilogy are about some of the voice acting choices. Everything else is just people bitching for the sake of bitching and refusing to acknowledge that there are more fleshed out cannons than G1 and Beast Wars.
Bruh I went into the 3rd season COMPLETELY blind and was sidelined (IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY) when they slowly started revealing the Maximals. I am disappointed that the original voice actors weren't used but I can deal. I'm going to binge this and come back to watch this!
I would love to know the software used in this animation, they should also do a reboot of beast wars in this fashion as it is better than the one in the original version (obviously due to technology advancing).
"Transformers: War for Cybertron - Multiverse of Canon-Madness" 1. The story is kinda bad, timetravel & alternare realities, just another "easy" solution to do stuff, but the storytelling & worldbuilding is quite good, some of the characters are very well done, very respectfull 2. Pretty sure there will be more, maybe "Rise of Cybertron" or "Revenge of Unicron" 3. The more serious tone is intriguing, especialy the Unicron scenes, it's kinda Lovecraftian, Cosmic Horror, which fits nicely 4. Now, how is it possible that 2 animated, modernised 80s shows, "Transformers: War for Cybertron & Masters of the Universe", both on Netflix, can be so different in (not) respecting the original source materials? 1 shall stand, 1 shall fall... Can you imagine what abomination this might've become if Soylent Blob would've been involved in "Transformers"?
How did this not respect the original content? It was loaded with iconic moments from the Beast Wars, Fall of Cybertron game cannon, the IDW comics and the G1 series? The only real complaint that could be had about this trilogy is some of the voice acting choices. There is a lot more than Beast Wars and G1 and fans of the other stuff deserve to have their cannons respected as well.
@@zakkmylde1712 I realised just now I forgot to mention a specific detail, the 2 new shows I meant are "Transformers & Masters of the Universe", that's why I said Soylent Blob (Silent Bob), meaning Kevin Smith... I'm correcting this!
@@eldritchmorgasm4018 I gotcha. I haven't watched Masters of the Universe yet so I don't have an opinion on it. I think the War for Cybertron trilogy is getting way too much unnecessary hatr though. Like unsaid outside of voice acting choices that show did an amazing job respecting all the stuff that came before it. It was definitely made with hardcore transformers fans who know the deep cuts.
Its so funny you uploaded this an hour ago as I just finished watching it. As a huge G1 fan and lore fan this series was absolutely fantastic for creating a cool multiverse with so so much good lore
I think multiversal singularities exist everywhere, but can only focus on one universe at a time, and serious damage to their avatar in one universe prevents their ability to project in that universe. This is why Primus is all Cybertrons, and Unicron can continue to ravage the galaxy even though he became a blackhole in Cybertron. It also explains why Multiversal Singularities have different appearances.
You don’t think that nemesis and Galvatron will be back? The last moment we see them unicorn is already reconfiguring them. The line drawings they become look different and bigger than the ones they are. Also, lower decks?
They leaked a New Repaint of an Optimus Prime called Black Convoy and it has the Mercenaries Logo From what i know that Logo appeared only in the Netflix Series' Siege Trilogy & Cyberverse
I was sad about Dinobot and Alita One's crew. I really liked Jetfire in this series as well. I didn't like how certain characters were killed off and pushed to the side but overall I thought it was really good. Major fan service in this show that only TF fans would catch. This show is only for fans and ppl who will watch it and wanna learn about transformers and become fans and that's how any type of remake should be! I'd rate this a 9/10 only because the fight scenes were lacking. Other than that this was an awesome series. Can't wait to see if there's a sequel. BTW Unicron is no longer a singularity. They stopped singularities in the comics to give writers more freedom when writing certain characters.
Loved this season of Transformers. As a G1 fan and Beast Wars fan it was great. Can't wait for more. Its like an unofficial Transformers the movie remake and I'm loving it. This is how you do it Kevin Smith. 🎤 ⬇️
I loved this season although I was confused because I thought it was a prequel to the G1 show but my favorite part in all 3 shows was when Nemisus came out of the smoke it was awesome
This series was the best, it was soo damn neat with all those organic-beast modes and it had a damn gothic'dark style. Beast wars and beast machines was one of the only ones I could take seriously. They appeared more grounded in reality.
I really hope part 4 gives us the sacrifice of Optimus and him handing his Matrix of Leadership to Optimal Prime which turns him into Optimal Optimus. A new toy of him would be great.
At the end, Nemesis and Galvatron were broken down into their digital wireframes just like how Unicron made Galvatron in the movie. I'm betting that they will be reformatted into new (not yet made yet) toys for the upcoming Transformers toy line (I think it's called Legends).
The grid lines on galvatron and nemesis at the end are similar to the ones on Megatron and the Decepticons in the 86 movie before they get reformatted into galvatron, cyclonus, scourge and the sweeps.
I am a big transformers fan, I went back to rewatch the old gen one cartoon while waiting for the last season of this new show and even though I am sad to not be able to see all of my favorite autobots and even upset that some of the ones I loved did die, I agree that this was a good series. I only wish that it wasn't as short as it was but all in all a very good show!
I liked it for the most part. Only weaknesses were the voices of Optimus Primal and Megatron (T-Rex). I'm mot sure how the ball was dropped there, contract issue with voice actors or something else, but that was my biggest issue.
I’d like to see a show/movie about the origins of the seekers! Why they look the same how starscream, thunderchacker, and skywarp met! And a cool twist would be that starscream WASN’T the first seeker!
i wonder if for the 4th season , they're going to take characters from Transformers Prime. That show was good IMO even though it was based off of the life action movies. Since unicron can grab characters from the multiverses, be cool to see him grab those versions of the decepticons.
"Transforms more than meets the eye"! Or "Beast Wars"! Am I the only one who use to scream this out loud in my underoos while eating a big bowl of Crunch Berries!? 😂😂
I enjoyed this Trilogy and I'm kinda hoping the changes in the timeline make for a completely different transformers the movie. I know that's alot to ask but I'd love to see this happen.
Imo, Kingdom was the best of the trilogy. I never watched Beast Wars, but it was fun to see the various generations of TF with one another. I LOVE the character design, other than the flexible abdomen and Megatron lips. Easily the biggest negative of the show is the... LONG ... Pauses.... whenever anyone is speaking (especially Optimus Prime and Megatron). I feel like the dialogue coach was inspired by parodies of William Shatner.
Cool review, just fyi in 2015 hasbro had the tf collectors club write a story where nexus prime used the star saber to eliminate all multiversal singularities to rid themselves of any potential story constraints established in previous works.
just to clarify! the titan robot that the Ark turns into isn't Teletran! he's called The Last Autobot, but YES the toy comes with a transforming Teletran 1, btw fan theory is that the next series will be The Unicron Trilogy oh! and Tigatron and Dinobots voices sounded like they were swapped around(Tigatron has Dinobots voice and vice versa)
you know that the original voice actors weren't aired just because they were all union voice actors? Basically hasbro didn't want to pay more, just that.
Was pretty satisfying overall. I didn't like how Optimus and Megatron sounded so beat up all the time. They both talked waaaaaay too slow. Hopefully if the series continues, that can be fixed, as well as fixing all of their injuries. I also there is a way to bring back the characters that died, like Alita, kind of like how Beast Machines ended but with a more common sense approach. And speaking of the Beast Wars characters, I about hit my head on the ceiling of my place when, at the end of Season 2, I saw Dinobot and it revealed his mechanical eye. I jumped up off the couch so fast! It was great seeing them brought into this series and I'm excited to see the dynamics play out between the Autobots and Maximals/Decepticons and Predacons, as well as between the two factions.
I think unicron is going to fuse nemesis prime and glavatron together in the nxt season seeing since separate they couldn't get job done so try putting together might work better creating something new to transformers series 🤔
This take on the transformers was such a dark story. It played more on the side the darkness of war than the actual transformers. I doubt another season will come

Yea I want to see them transmetal in these graphics.
"Transformers: War for Cybertron - Multiverse of Canon-Madness"
1. The story is kinda bad, timetravel & alternare realities, just another "easy" solution to do stuff, but the storytelling & worldbuilding is quite good, some of the characters are very well done, very respectfull
2. Pretty sure there will be more, maybe "Rise of Cybertron" or "Revenge of Unicron"
3. The more serious tone is intriguing, especialy the Unicron scenes, it's kinda Lovecraftian, Cosmic Horror, which fits nicely
Man I didn't knew transformers can have this amazing story
Also I liked they tried to focus on story so much rather than action
I think multiversal singularities exist everywhere, but can only focus on one universe at a time, and serious damage to their avatar in one universe prevents their ability to project in that universe. This is why Primus is all Cybertrons, and Unicron can continue to ravage the galaxy even though he became a blackhole in Cybertron. It also explains why Multiversal Singularities have different appearances.
Megatron sounds like scorponok.
Dinobot and Tigatron's VA should've swapped instead.
But Blackarachnia sounds great though.
You don’t think that nemesis and Galvatron will be back? The last moment we see them unicorn is already reconfiguring them. The line drawings they become look different and bigger than the ones they are.
Also, lower decks?
I agree. I didn't interpret it as Unicorn "absorbing them" so much as "rebooting them"
They leaked a New Repaint of an Optimus Prime called Black Convoy and it has the Mercenaries Logo
From what i know that Logo appeared only in the Netflix Series' Siege Trilogy & Cyberverse
Was great to see the crossover! Beast Wars was what introduced me to Transformers as a kid. Dino Bot's death inspired Mankind in the T.V series.
Evil optimus should have been called Optimus Crime
Get the rise of primes version from a few years ago if you care so much. There is a updated version and a black? Primal version.
I have to say I think this was the best transformers ever made. I have the feel of the original but it blended all of the story together and was adult
I can't tell if unicron killed galvatron and nemesis or giving them new bodies
Again
I think he is resetting them for future plans. I hope they will get new looks
@@blank8278 I think galvatron might become galvatron2 and nemesis prime might become rise of beasts scorge
@@greenbean325 There's a Galvatron 2?????????
I liked it for the most part. Only weaknesses were the voices of Optimus Primal and Megatron (T-Rex). I'm mot sure how the ball was dropped there, contract issue with voice actors or something else, but that was my biggest issue.
You seem to have forgotten that Elta 1 was in earthrise she sacrificed herself to stop shock wave.
So Jetfire is gone even Red Alert?
@@drakedy2145 everyone left behind died
@@vader2766 Awww but at least Life is restored and Maximals and Predacons live together
I never expected you to do a review but this is cool! Definitely the best season in the trilogy
And thats a fact
I’d like to see a show/movie about the origins of the seekers! Why they look the same how starscream, thunderchacker, and skywarp met! And a cool twist would be that starscream WASN’T the first seeker!
You've got the touch... 🎶🎶
You've got the poweeeer! Yeah!
AMAZING! They always do something you think they won't.
Just finished it also!! Loved this one of the 3... Very nice tie ins with everything. Very much anticipating what's to come!!!
I haven't seen this new season yet but with a 7.5/10 i might have to check it out this weekend. Thanks for the quick review!
Thanks for the breakdown mate, just was waiting for it!!
will they have a sequel? because the cliffhanger is fascinating same as cyberverse
Dinobot was great in this series. And the Beast Wars character voices were great, except BW Megatron imo.
I liked the voice of BW Megatron.
i wonder if for the 4th season , they're going to take characters from Transformers Prime.
I watched all 3 seasons but I'd like to know if there's any animes before this one, like, about all the Primes, about, Unicron, Alpha Trion etc..
I really hope we see these characters again
Unicron more than likely would fight Primus teletran has no chance he's a small insect compared to Unicron
The voice actors needed to be revisited.
I enjoyed this Trilogy and I'm kinda hoping the changes in the timeline make for a completely different transformers the movie. I know that's alot to ask but I'd love to see this happen.
Absolutely loved this third season. Unreal
Unicron devouring the second Death Star is nice and hilarious pic in this video.
Man I want more of this series, but they zinged through a huge history of transformers already.
Beast Wars Megatron deserved a better/deeper voice yeeeeeesss
Such an epic trilogy. Hoping for another chapter.
Awesome! They always do something you think they won't.
4:03 they pulled a thor ragnarok here which was pretty cool
This season was awesome, got me really excited and intrigued. Went searching after watching it man i like doing research 😂 cant wait for whats next!
Nemesis Prime is like the Valeyard.
Great video, sir.
Great! They always do something you think they won't.
Cool review, just fyi in 2015 hasbro had the tf collectors club write a story where nexus prime used the star saber to eliminate all multiversal singularities to rid themselves of any potential story constraints established in previous works.
COOL! They always do something you think they won't.
Cool! They always do something you think they won't.
GREAT! They always do something you think they won't.
just to clarify! the titan robot that the Ark turns into isn't Teletran! he's called The Last Autobot, but YES the toy comes with a transforming Teletran 1, btw fan theory is that the next series will be The Unicron Trilogy
oh! and Tigatron and Dinobots voices sounded like they were swapped around(Tigatron has Dinobots voice and vice versa)
I thought this season was fantastic and it brings a lot of nostalgia to me being a fan of the 80's cartoon and Transformers Movie.
Was somewhat disappointed that they didn’t have any of the original voice cast from beast wars reprising the roles. But that was 30 years ago
They did pretty good with most characters honestly, Optimus and especially Megatron gave me a chuckle because they were so wildly different.
you know that the original voice actors weren't aired just because they were all union voice actors? Basically hasbro didn't want to pay more, just that.
Is there a rule about emulating the voice though, I could've done a better megatron if not.
It was nostalgic watching the Predacons and the Maximals back again.
I can't wait for Unicrons enyrance again but Elita's death really got me 🥲
They really should have hired the original beast wars voice actors. Especially megatron and optimus primals.
If they didn't have Peter Cullen and Frank Welker as Optimus Prime and Megatron, why would they have the original voice cast from Beast Wars?
I just finished watching it. I want more. I want to see more of Unicron and perhaps a bit of Primus and The One.
I doubt another season will come
Really want to continue this story
