    I had so much visceral fat after quitting alcohol and in less then 2 months of walking everyday and eating clean it melted off. I believe the key is consistency. For anybody reading this, keep going, do not quit.

      I'm finally losing fat because of Dr ekberg, dr fung and other Dr's on u tube. Insulin resistance is the root of stomach fat and diabetes amount other issues in the body. Please check these 2 Drs out . Good luck to you

    The #1 thing is planned and structured diet, because the only way for your body to burn fat is to use it as energy. Basically, you need to eat below your energy maintenance level (in terms of calories) and your fat cells will be used to compensate the missing energy (calories). That's how your body works. There are other things to consider as well, such as hormonal status, diseases... but caloric deficit is a must. You have a lot of online diet planners and calculators: Next Level Diet for example. Losing/gaining weight is just a simple math, really...

    I was all always taught you cannot focus on areas of fat to lose. When you lose fat, it takes it from all areas of the body.

      I already do 30 minutes of fasted cardio in the morning, and an hour of weight lifting in the evening. My belly fat is not going. I dropped 10lbs, and can't see it. I am 163lbs, so I am not even overweight.

    *Hey, here's a time saver*
    - Burn more calories than you consume (caloric deficit)
    - Prioritise strength training but also do cardio (HIIT is great)
    - Eat less crappy foods, eat more healthier foods (Don't be dumb, you know what they are)
    - Trust the process of hard work and consistency - *there are no quick-fixes*
    - And most importantly, stop watching Dr Oz and his bullshit.

    One thing that will help is intermediate fasting
    8am-9am -breakfast
    1pm-2pm-lunch
    5pm-6pm - dinner(no desert)
    This really helped me ,if you accompany it with a diet and light exercise (cycling)
    It does wonders

    I lost weight by walking. I was 267 pounds in April 2022. I got to 164 in December 2023. I am now at 190 ish pounds. Just over the overweight threshold. 25 BMI. Even when I was 164 pounds I still had stomach fat, I was skinny fat. I am 6’1 by the way. I want to lose stomach fat again but not look skinny fat anymore

      @@mist4926 I've done pretty much everything the past 20 years to lose the weight. Walking does seem to the best exercise for weight loss, at least for me. It sure isn't swimming.

    Strength train and eat in a calorie deficit! The more muscle you have the more calories you will burn at rest. Cardio is also great too BUT HIIT cardio is better.

      Jenny long - I would throw in intermittent fasting too for guaranteed results. I personally was a bit overweight for 20 years before I set it right- I ran 5 miles daily - 2 of those were hiit

    The pot belly or so called beer belly in middle aged men, is not fat. There's intestines in there. As the skin ages, it loses strength and tone to hold in the intestines, and this is what causes the so called beer belly

    Legs are the biggest muscle in the body & walking is a resistance exercise. Do HIIT in walking, walk as fast as you can for 30 seconds then slow down or stop to recover & start again for 20 to 30 minutes. 10minutes of walking will burn more calories than 500 crunches. Squats & Deadlifts are another way. Once the lymph(carries fats) carries the fat to the liver it will burn it.

    The demonstration didn't correlate with the recommended method. It was if a substance you eat liquefied fat, on the belly area and solidifies it in others. Cure. Walk around. 🤔 im confused but okay. 😁

    I don’t know about this video. Belly fat is not impossible to lose it just takes time . I was 194 lbs and had a waist size of 38 . Now 165 lbs and my waist size is 35 waist cold . I know that 35 waist is not where I want to be . Belly fat is the last place fat comes of the body . I just have to keep training and losing more weight . My diet is on point and my training is on point . I am only 5’8” so I can lose more weight no problem and won’t look skinny. My weight loss has been 5 months now . To lose the belly fat that took years and years to put on will not come off in a month . It might take a year . There is no shortcut. It takes very hard work but my goal of a 30” waist is achievable. Don’t listen to people on the net .there is no miracle.

    Interesting. I'm not sure if I believe it though, because most professionals say that when you lose weight, you lose it equally through your body. What I experienced was, I gained fat mostly on my belly. I don't usually do cardio, just yoga. So I got stronger, but gained fat at the same time because I started eating more. Recently I've been walking more often and I'm gonna start doing cardio though, let's see what happens

There are videos by Dr. Greger about the harmful effects of eggs, and the only study about capsaicin in hot foods stated that no one could stand how much hot peppers you'd have to actually eat to briefly cause thermogenesis to slightly "boost" your metabolism.

      @@therootandvein Well, I got my certification as a fitness nutrition specialist and have studied nutrition since I was a kid, and potatoes are ok on a plant-based diet without all the butter, cheese, bacon, sour cream and of course in moderation like everything else. Overall carb count can matter depending on genetics, age, hormones, etc, and I just started keeping my count after fiber to under 100 grams due to all the above and it's worked. But zero carb is just really too dramatic and unhealthy from everything I've read/researched. Not to mention practically impossible LOL

    NOOOOOO walking is not going to burn fat if you are not eating in a CALORIE DEFICIT. You HAVE to know or at least have an idea of how many calories you are eating per day so you can eat LESS. It's that simple. It's not eating metabolism-boosting food, not putting frickin salsa on your eggs in the morning, its CALORIE DEFICIT!!!

      @@Thatboystupid I would strongly advise walking, but here's the context no one gives you. Your legs are the largest muscle group in your body and are always able to handle the greatest load. I always shrugged the walking advice because my brain couldn't wrap itself around the idea that something so simple would help. I advise watching your favorite TV show/influencer/anime and walking for an hour a day. Start with 30 minutes and build from there.
      There's calorie deficits too, but I'd advise tracking EVERYTHING you eat and drink, no processed food, and intermittent fasting. Since you're young, I wouldn't fast for more than 12 hours on a regular basis (I'm not sure about the limit for minors) All minors should either talk to a doctor or do a TON of research before getting into intermittent fasting. I lost 40 lbs doing nothing but intermittent fasting. It's nice because you see results everyday (on the scale) which is very motivating.
      Since you're so tall, if you weight train, you could have a future in sports.
      Even if not that, the ladies love tall, built men. 😉

BUT REMEMBER! CHEAT DAYS DONT MAKE YOU GAIN WEIGHT!!! if you feel guilty after having a pizza one day or something, then don’t!! life’s too short!! and eating something higher fat and calorie one day does not make u gain weight.

      Intermediate fasting is one of the best things you can do to detoxify your body and improve overall health search it up. Been doing it for over 5 years and if I began to list all my health issues I’ve healed and improved It’d be a book. Of coarse you’re not going to starve yourself for days on and on but trust me when I say it’s one of the very best things you can do for yourself.
