I still love how half of the sprites here look just like the SNES version, only downgraded to three colors, and the other half looks like it came straight out of an awful Mario fan game from the early 2000's.
I think this is one of your best videos in a while, not just because I helped you with parts, and not just because it’s SMW nes redux, I just genuinely think this is a good and well thought out video. You did a good job on beating the whole game, especially with it’s original physics. I’m so glad you finally made this video, and I think this video goes to show how good your channel has gotten over this past year.
the original bootleg is still really impressive. pretty much everything was recreated from scratch with non-existent documentation and primitive tools for a system that was outdated by that point. hummer team was insane for what they pulled off
Bowser is pink because im guessing he shares a palette with the princess. I don't know why they couldn't use the palette from the clown car and have him be green. Not an NES expert.
Would really really enjoy SMW ported to the Sega Master System. Just because it has a little more color. More vibrant colors. And just out of curiosity.
