2:55 When I saw that jar of mirabelles, nostalgia ran through me and tears flooded my eyes! You just cannot find any mirabelles here in the US, no fresh ones to make a tarte aux mirabelles with, like my grandma does in France. 💔
je t'aime fort ma belle mamie!
    Thanks for this wonderful video.

As an American living in a very large (but not extremely popular) city, all the cost of living is tripled. It’s so insane how expensive it is just to live now.

I also lived in the city as a student and everything there is bought. The cost of living is expensive and the pollution isn't doing good to the health, too. Glad I found this channel and this content💛

I’m glad to see more and more young people move to the countryside 💕
Pollution and traffic…I used to be stuck 2-3 hours in traffic everyday while living in the city. It was not a healthy lifestyle…

What time of the day did you film this bc when we’re traveling it’s always so crowded 😩 I live in the USA and France is one of our bucket list to travel someday. Just gotta save up more. It looks so beautiful there especially the countryside of France.

Those pictures in the beginning got me daydreaming... I'm just so stressed out and overworked, I want to have time to just take a leisurely walk to a tiny market and pick out some special fruit preserves :'(

Salut.

I love this video. Subscribed for sure. I have one question: is French spoken more in small towns? I'm planning to move to France and looking to live where I get to speak French often and become fluent. Thank you for making this video and take care!

      Hello Ovuoke,
Thank you for watching and for subscribing. I’m glad you enjoyed the video 💚
To answer your question, I believe it would depend on towns. My small town welcomes millions of European tourists a year. It’s quite common to find people in my town who speak French, English, and/or German.
However, I found that, to be a part of a community (such as sport clubs, community gardens etc.), the classes/sessions are conducted only in French. People in small towns usually take time to discuss/have small talks which make it easier to practice the language.
I use 100% French in my daily life here 😀
French is a beautiful and useful language to learn. Goodluck ✨💚

Thank you for your insightful videos. We are retired, with pensions, social security, and modest income from our rented condo in Portland, Oregon. We love the ''old-town" look of Lviv and Krakow. Where would you recommend that we begin our search for an apartment in France? Thank you!!
