Hey there! Do I absolutely have to have a lawyer/attorney write up a contract or is this something I can do on my own and it still have some “legal standing” if something were to go wrong. I don’t have the funds for a lawyer yet and I just want to know if I’m at least somewhat safe from issues.

Good question! I write my own contracts for various projects, however if you find yourself struggling to write a strong contract or have questions or concerns, you should consider consulting with a licensed attorney for help. It’s not required but sometimes the money you invest for an attorney to look over it for you could potentially save you legal trouble down the road. Hope this helps!

That’s also my question! I was wondering if a self-written contract is eligable, like not presenting it into ‘government’ issues. But it does make sense consulting a lawyer so they can help you construct it.
