I am currently using a VHS to DVD Converter unit to copy the VHS tapes over to a blank DVD. Then I take the DVD and rip it to my PC. It's one way to get the job done. I am now skewering web to see if I can upscale the video to a better quality. I have found an inexpensive program ( WinxVideo AI ) (See link below) that does a pretty good job of upscaling but the downside to No Surprise is it takes HOURS to transcode. AVCLabs also seems to be good but its subscription based and to buy it outright is crazy expensive for no more than what I would be doing. I have thought about using a capture card to copy straight to my PC to eliminate the DVD process. Though with my current method I have my tapes backed up to a DVD already. At the time of me writing this comment I have yet to watch this video. I am eager to see other ways to transfer tapes to a digital format. I want to see if there's a better way to take on the project. Would love to see what others are doing. Came across your video, and here's a question: bought a small-ish amazon camera bag that houses all of my lenses and camera body, so, could I bring that small bag inside a much bigger one that also has other gear as well, hard drives, etc? Or what would be the way to go here?

Was able to get 2 refurbished from the official website for $70.

I found it difficult to use as comparrison reference since the picture witch wasnt compared the same... too many differendt variables. Comparing a picture that was not madniffied and then magnify and not do the same for the other photos.. just spins my brain... i would have liked seeing all images not magnified and compared and then a magnified comparison... or something consistant like that...

How far away can you get away with lighting your subjects. Do the photographers usually not mind when you setup these lights? I'm a new wedding videographer and am going to start introducing my own lighting for the first time.

I have just bought a cine-lens, IRIX 21mm to my Canon EOS R6 Mark II. However, my camera won´t take any picture or even make a video. I guess there should be some kind of settings, but what settings should i do to be able to use my cine-lens? With an ordinary Canon lens there is not any problem at all to take pictures or make a video. Does anyone have a tip what i should do, maybe what kind of settings?

The misgivings from manufacturers about GiB and GB is done on purpose. It's false advertisement from the companies. They could just easily write 30 Megabytes per second.

IF YOU HAVE ONE DONT UPDATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They reduce voltage on motors to "reduce motor wear" but we all know why they did it..... completely destroys the DJI Ronin S and makes it feel like your gamble is made out of rubber bands. its basically trash now. I'm so pissed off. I'm never trusting a DJI product again.

Great video but a lot of people need to realize that it's very very very risky when buying used gambles because most the time the motors are completely crapped out because the previous owner didn't know how to balance it, right

Great summary but don't forget to check out these AI programs that can clean up REALLY old films like your Dad's videos. An also backup your precious files on "Archive" discs because they literally last forever. like 1000's of years. They only hold 100GB a disc an cost $25 each but never trust precious files you can't replace to Hard drives an SSD's have the worst "bit rot", only archival discs work for long term storage.

I ended up using my second cine lens as a photo lens on my cheapo b cam, totally overkill - but mainly because despite the price of a cine lens, it’s still cheaper than a cine lens + photo lens. Also lets me change t stops on the lens itself instead of the awkward touch screen and also kind of neat for scouting a spot, you can match settings later when you bring the cine body around I suppose
