I bought the training for the contracts. Ended up watching half the course too. It’s great value
I just use the IOV for contracts. I also get some legal backing too. Trouble with contracts like this, they are basically toilet paper that a clued up client will sign (and laugh at)
Just because you think you know what a contract is, doesn't mean you actually do. In this case, you don't really know what you're talking about and that's clear. I hope it doesn't bite you on the ass.
Hey dude, sure people could spend hours looking into learning all the legal stuff and/or spend $$$$'s on a lawyer, but that's not really helping people who are just starting out with no money, is it?
We've had no issues with our contracts when they have been 'tested' (on the odd occasion 😂).
I'm definitely not a lawyer at all, far from it but this basic advice will help people have a better understanding of how they work and how they can use it as a template to have some form of protection/ agreement between 2 parties 👌
@@RossWelch or they could go to the IOV. A trusted and accredited resource that will provide free legal templates and help should you need it.
Do you mention in the video that without public liability insurance in place a contract between a videographer and client is null and void? I seemed to miss that part.
