Thanks Jim for reposting my video
Jim bounds is a straight baller.
Jim's hair makes me want a soft-serve ice cream cone. I'm diggin' the swirl.
I would like to recommend hydrotek BS1088 plywood for the ceiling and walls. It is a marine grade plywood using type A glue. It is water resistant and has good tensile strength. It comes in 4mm x 4’x8’ and sells locally for about $66. I did find a source for Russian birch but it is only available in 60”x 60”x.125”.
As always, thank you Jim for helping the GMC community
That the only contact adhesive that I use in my upholstery shop. Great video
i would have never thought about locking those pieces together like that.
Great information!
Killer video.... congratulations
Epoxy-based bed liner? Painting the Luan with it before covering in cloth/leather etc?
do you have any thoughts on tearing out all the old insulation from the walls and replacing it all with spray foam?
Jim - Is this the channel you use? CRL ALUM-H14A-VCP-1 Satin Anodized 1/4" H-Channel (1" wide x 12' long)
I wonder if kydex a heat formed plastic usually used for gun holster's. might work well.
Kydex 100 Acrylic/PVC Sheet I think would work but it is pricey. Retail for me is $500/sheet. We are going with hydrotek bs 1088 It is still expensive at $65/sheet but is is a marine grade plywood that is water resistant.
Jim - What is the brand and part number of the bed liner you use? White, I suppose.
