I love using the propane system in my 1977 GMC. Fridge cools great on propane, furnace keeps us warm all night long, and cooking on gas is SO NICE.
We use only 2.5 gallons for an entire weekend trip. Thats $8 of propane. Cant beat it. I dont understand why anyone would ever want to go without it...

I'd love to have one of these coaches, 1978, completely rebuilt.
But there is one thing I've noticed that does concern me.
That is, there's only 1 entrance/exit. The main door.
Unless the windows pop out easily, I haven't seen an escape route should something catch on fire anywhere near the door.

What should I do about my full tank?

We took ours out a year or so ago. We are using the tank for our outdoor gas firepit until it's empty then we will see if anyone in our local GMC group would like the tank.

A shop that services propane tanks can drain it for you.
Some propane places that provide propane to the home can do it
