In this video we remove the gauge cluster trim panel and repair the damage mounting holes and clips. It's super common that these plastic pieces get brittle over time and unfortunately someone has already ripped this apart, but its nothing a little plastic epoxy can't fix!
Once we have the dash panel repaired it was time to install our OBS fuel tank switch bracket. I was annoyed of having to dig around in the dash for the dual tank switch and it constantly rattled on something back there. Not only is the bracket sturdy - it's super easy to install. Bronco Graveyard makes a nice setup.
I just received and installed this bracket on my ‘92 F350. I had the same worry over it’s sturdiness, but after installing it has a good firm feel. Dual takes are absolutely a necessity when hauling horses. No fun having to get off the highway and fill up any more times than absolutely necessary with livestock behind.

@@MatthewFinlay You should make your own brackets and sell them for the vw Ls fund. I don't know why they made the fuel tank selector with so much resistance, they childproofed the selector switch and forgot about the ignition. Lol
Hahaha you’re 100% correct! I actually though about that but some days I wanna go experiment and mess with stuff for a week and others I wanna bolt it in and go. You can see what I went with on this one haha
300 mile range = ‘94 v8 + (2x 55 gal gas tanks)
Let’s just go on the safe side and go with 2x 150 gallon tanks. Guaranteed it can do 1 mpg
