I put the Denmark piece back because the mark was modern, not because it was from Denmark. There are some really great pieces that come out of Denmark-sorry I didn’t clarify my thought process in the video!
Those of us who watch you regularly figured that out, LOL. Vintage is good vintage no matter where it comes from!

Tape on painted surfaces, permanent marker on wood items, price stickers over makers mark... 😡 Oh the madness!!! lol
Yes! So annoying, and my other pet peeve is stickers on the front of vintage record albums. You can't get them off without peeling part of the picture on front with it!

As an aside- they really should just use a shrink wrap machine to keep items together rather than packing tape that causes such damage to pieces!
I was surprized the cockerspaniel was missed also
They need to use packaging saran wrap instead of tape. So many ruined items

We should suggest the thrift store use saran wrap not tape.
amanda baker my thrift stores generally do use wrap instead of tape. I just won’t buy taped pieces I’ve been burned too many times😢
That would be terrible for the environment. My mom and I say no tags. Make all same price.

I always make homemade Boston bake beans. I'm originally from New England and now living in Texas.
I wish they just put the price stickers on the side or top, not the bottom. I think they do that just to aggravate us.
I now use my instant pot to make home made baked beans. Time saver. Once you have had home made, canned will not do.

I saw that lamp and thought it would be perfect for you so glad you found it. I had no place to put it or I would have gotten it. I passed them up also because of the gold coming off. I think the lamp was beautiful. The more I see that lamp I am so glad you got it. Wished I had room for it.

The LAMP 😍😍😍 !! And I love the Halloween witch is sweet! Since you aren’t attached to the saucer plate you could has a pretty under plate for your indoor plants, a small planter but still a cute way to use them.

The lamp is to die for girlfriends, I think it is so beautiful. It is going to look simply stunning with the right shade and finial. Wish our GW got lamps even half that nice. Ours are pure junk. I went yesterday and at least was able to finally get a matching lampshade, to one I already have, that I had been needing. It wasn't a bad price at $2.99 so I snagged it. My best score however was a couple of miniature blown glass pieces. One was a stemmed little wine glass the other a little pitcher. They are a swirling white glass with a dark blue accenting swirl. The pieces are Kosta Boda made by renowned Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman-Vallien. They are marked Kosta Boda and signed Ulrica HV and numbered on the bottom by the artist. GW had put them together in a plastic bag, run packaging tape all over it and marked it at ninety nine cents. I just managed to see the signatures on the bottom and nearly had a heart attack for glee. These are very collectible pieces and highly sought after. Some have sold online for $50 - $80 dollars. Sometimes GW misses things and when they do it's awesome. I've noticed they don't pay attention to art glass out here at all.
