Love the channel man, you’ve taken the same car path that I’m considering. I have an 18’ Civic Hatchback right now and I’m thinking about a Nismo 370z for my next car as well. Quick question, one thing I keep hearing about the 370Z is the visibility isn’t great. Whats your perspective coming from a Civic Hatch to the Z? Is it as bad as everybody says or not that bad?
Hi! Thank you so much for the support I appreciate you a lot. The hatchback platform is great but so is the Nismo, if you’re already considering it I highly recommend just going for it and trust me you will not regret it AT ALL I promise! I’ve been loving this car so much, one thing I love about this car is that it appeals to the younger group and older group of people so you’ll have kids compliment your Z all the way to full on grandpa’s getting hyped about your Z so it’s pretty cool to see that I also had the same concern about the visibility but to be honest with you just set your side mirrors as far out as possible to cover as much as you can of your blind spot and literally you’ll be good. It takes some time getting used to for sure because you pretty much can’t look over anymore to check your blind spot but after a while you’ll feel comfortable about it. Trust me the visibility is not a problem at all just takes some time getting used to. Personally I would say its not as bad because the Z is not a big car anyways.
@@_d_g_o_t_ Thanks for the detailed response! Yeah I totally agree that one of the best things about the Z is that it appeals to everybody. The history of the Z cars is so rich that it’s hard to find anybody who dislikes them. I’ve researched so many different cars to be my potential next one but I just keep coming back to the 370Z. There’s just something special about it that no other car can replicate. Also thanks for the reassurance about the visibility. Like you said, I’m sure once I start driving it for a while and set up the mirrors correctly it won’t be so bad. Glad to hear it isn’t a deal breaker and honestly the amazing looks of the car make up for slightly hindered visibility. I’ll definitely keep you updated on my future Z endeavors man! Looking forward to more Z content from you! Cheers.
@@tinkiewinkie6056 of course man no worries at all, let me know if you have any questions at all I’ll try to help out as much as I can! I agree with you its definitely a special car, Its always been my dream car even waaaaaay before the Civic, so I’m very grateful and lucky to finally have one and I love every single bit of it. Yea the visibility is not a deal breaker at all, if you really want visibility to not be a problem in the Z, theres ways to not make it a problem like the mirror trick, or scooting your passenger seat up everytime theres no one in it so you can look over the small passenger window to check your blind spot. No problems at all Sounds good, good luck again im excited for ya!
@@_d_g_o_t_ Same here, it’s been a dream car of mine even before I got the Civic. I came from a truck previously, so I figured I should get used to driving a lower car first before I hopped into a high horsepower RWD sports car lol. The Civic is still a great drive, love the way it handles and the turbo is always fun. I’ll probably have the Civic for about another year or so. Hoping the used car market comes down even more within the year so I can get a better deal on one when the times comes, guess we’ll see. Appreciate the advice about getting better visibility. Didn’t know about the passenger seat trick, I’ll have to remember that when I test drive it. I know there’s other things you can buy as well like the stick-on blind spot mirrors you put on your side view mirrors. There’s also a company I saw that makes full on replacement side mirrors for the 370z that you stick on to the OEM ones that are supposed to give you much more visibility out the sides. I also have one of those bigger rectangle clip-on mirrors called a Broadway Mirror in my Civic right now if you’ve ever heard of them. They’re from a company in Japan and help improve rearward visibility. I have to say it really helps out big time in the Civic Hatch. It might be worth looking into one to see how it helps with the visibility in the 370Z. You can buy them on Amazon, eBay ect.. They have a normal flat version and convex version, I’ve tried both and definitely recommend the regular flat one vs the warped perspective of the convex one. They’re super affordable and just clip right onto your OEM mirror. But yeah if you end up getting anything to help with the visibility I’d love to see a video on it and hear what you think about any improvements with the visibility, since there really aren’t many videos on that subject about the 370z. Just a potential video idea!
Yea they added Active Sound Enhancement it amplifies engine noises, you can unplug it and so thats what I did. To be honest you can’t really tell when its active or deactivated I just did it because I didn’t want it on
@@soulvent._1 yea they do, everything in that video was purely just the engine noise no enhancement and just from iphone audio which was inside the car filming. loved everything about this car
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
Finally bought an exhaust for the Z so stay tuned to find out what the exhaust is!
