I’m from Sacramento, CA. What blowoff valve would you recommend? Was your hks loud? I want a loud one. I watch your vid but vids don’t do justice, if you know what I mean.

@@Deno530 oh cool I have family nearby there, at Antioch. I would recommend the HKS, probably the loudest and most noticeable one because it sort of whistles rather than just blows off. I loved mine it was perfect also found that the hks ran best with the car. Ran like there wasn’t a bov installed Sounded amazing too its a classic sound

@@topazplant hi! To be honest I don’t remember the link or if I even watched a video, its pretty simple tho it’s pretty much plug and play. I know some of the aftermarket side markers you do have to do some splicing but some are also just plug and play so look out for which one I get, if it does require splicing its super simple and easy you’re just wiring it directly to the oem wires. @@vast.ryan1 hi no I did not! Everything was plug and play, you could probably do an alignment but I did not and it was perfectly fine

@vast.ryan1 of course no worries! Yea go for it for me I went with it because it was the most affordable, it all just goes down to preference and lot of people are gonna say just buy a whole kit but for me I went this route because my car was brand new. My shocks were still brand new. You shouldn’t need anything else good luck! I loved mine the ride was great and I felt added response with steering after I installed it

I think this is the same user but yea here in Nevada, Vegas specifically loud exhaust is not an issue. I know cali has a lot of vehicle laws so definitely watch out but man these civics sound super good so you gotta experience it for sure

@@_d_g_o_t_ I got a 3inch front pipe haven't got it put on yet, but when I put it on I got a race straight through muffler I'm gonna put on behind the vibrant resonator in case of drone. But they said that muffler is going to reduce drone and more air flow so more power back up to the turbo

Hi! Both are safe for the car especially on these Civics so you’ll be fine, if you can’t do both resonator and muffler delete then I would do a mufflers delete you’ll notice a louder exhaust and the resonator will be there to keep the noise with a nice tone. But if you could do both then I would do both it sounds nicer in my opinion:)

Hi! I’m not sure to be honest those newer gens have a lot of new stuff to it so I’m not sure if the fittings are going to be the same or if running it with no tune will be healthy for the car.

To be honest im not sure if the fittings are all the same. Not familiar with the 11th gens at all. Look up to see if the fittings are all the same if it is then it should work but then again you might want to look into a tune, those 11th gens might be completely different

@@Anonymous-nz5xj not sure how they were able to steal it theres many ways I was informed by the cops, its crazy but theres enough technology out there to do it especially with cars that have key fobs. Took a while almost a year, it sucks but everything worked out

Hi! You’ll love it, personally I think the standard y pipe is good enough. You’ll like the sounds more it’s more free flowing and smoother sound.

@@_d_g_o_t_ Did you have any issues with leaks with the standard y pipe? I've been looking around at reviews and it seems people tended to have leak issues with the standard y pipe because its not a modular y pipe. I can agree that it sounds amazing

@@shammy7727 no I didn’t, just make sure the surfaces are clean and you can spread some sealant in between the flanges to make sure theres a good seal. Thats what I did other than that it sounded great

Was everything installed correctly? Was it the right part? I know the race intake requires a tune.

Hi not sure either but should be pretty close, you can always take the mufflers first see how it sounds then take the resonator if you want it louder vice versa

ISR was my first option actually, my friend was running that set up it sounds awesome. Miss the Z everyday

Hi! What year do you have? Is it a manual transmission? I had an intake, muffler and res delete, and the bov in this video so that might be why the pops are there I think having the manual transmission helps get the pops too because you’re able to rev it higher than automatic

Just saw your message on insta! The intake alone was loud enough you can definitely hear the difference with and without the intake so when you run the intake with the BOV, you’ll hear the intake along with the whistle noise from the BOV Hope this helps let me know if you have any questions!

Congrats on the Z! I have no idea how they took it but theres plenty of ways out there to steal vehicles especially on those Kias and Dodge’s its just a sad world I never got the car back either so I really have no idea but definitely protect yourself and your vehicles as much as you can

@@_d_g_o_t_ were your keys close to your car , cause they might have gotten the signal from your keys to trick the car into thinking they had the keys

@@Jvhkor I dont think it was close, I have seen that they’re able to get the signal even if it was far inside the house its crazy, it sucks that people even do that but I guess it is what it is

Hi! I didnt have any problems with my h pipe I only changed it out because the stock exhaust was quiet so I put in a y pipe only because the tomei was a single exit. You would only need a y pipe if the exhaust you’re getting is a single exit also it depends on which Z you have, what year is your Z and what exhaust are you planning on getting?

@@_d_g_o_t_ it's a Nismo 2016. So I can just replace the h-pipe to a y-pipe and I'll be good with a single exit? I'd like to buy a y-pipe+catback single exit from isr. Thanks!!

@alexandretherrien9374 oh okay then yes you’re correct you would have to change out the H pipe to a Y pipe for your single exit. If you get those it would be compatible to your car, that’s going to sound super nice I met someone with the same set up here in town and that’s what made me change out my exhaust it sounded so good his was tuned too

Hi to be honest I’m not sure, I wouldn’t think it would sound too much different I just know the rpms, revs, and shift changes might make it sound a little different other than that tone and everything else should be the same

@@ownitdontwasteit I switched to this one because the old one I had kept getting stuck on the open position so it kept leaking. I took it off at the end because I ended selling the car but the HKS paired with PRL intake was the best set up
