      So because he was used in the Dahmer case he should be treated like the president of the United States? Trust me it seems like he could’ve used help but no one is going to come help you without you reaching out and informing them of your need. Even then it probably won’t come. Help comes to those who seek it. I wish him the best of luck and if he’s innocent I hope that is discovered.

    It's funny how often the police will only give you a lie detector when they are sure you're lying, but never when they genuinely think it might eliminate you.

    • @rcchristian2
      @rcchristian2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lie detector tests are not admissible in court. So they are useless to prove or disprove someone.
      They trick people in to taking one and then the test is used as a leverage tool, to get a confession. As long as you keep your mouth shut, you're fine. You can even take a lie detector test, fail it, keep your mouth shut and you're fine.

      I think he just knows the system and was trying to convince the officers by telling the detectives his made up story as adamant as possible. He just got all of the possible misunderstandings from witnesses out front so he can just deny what they saw, even then he had to backtrack the story multiple times.
      Lie detectors cant actually detect lies, its just an interrogation technique that makes the suspect unsure if they could pass it. And therefore "pass" the interview. They still go back to questioning regardless of what the test says. Relying on video evidence is pretty solid but with the caveat in this case that its up for interpretation in Tracy's opinion.
      Other than that if you are truly innocent you would act this adamant about your story but its not gonna help you. Never talk to police without a lawyer present.

    There’s a good chance he’s telling the truth:
    1) He’s leaning forward the whole time and emotionally proclaiming his innocence until the end
    2) Offers to take a lie detector multiple times (likely isn’t smart enough to know it can’t be submitted as evidence)
    3) Says “good” without hesitation when he’s informed there were cameras
    Dude probably took the plea when facing 25 years vs 1 year and can’t afford a decent lawyer so didn’t want to take that chance.

      What part of the video gives you the impression that he wouldn't be smart enough to know that lie detectors are not admissible? Knowing that information wouldn't really require one to be smart, just informed on court procedures.
      Just because they're not admissible, that doesn't make them irrelevant. They use them to help push the DTs in the right direction when doing questioning.

      @Jaycee yeah I personally don't buy his story. Cameras don't lie. Secondly, they didn't just pick his name out of a hat. By him saying, "I'll take a lie detector test", that means nothing. Can't be used as evidence in most states. When he says good to cameras, it could just be reverse psychology, especially if he is, in fact guilty. I've also seen multiple cases where people have thrown victims both bound and untied, into rivers, and other bodies of water via a bridge. And if the bridge is high enough and the water is shallow, not gonna matter much if the victim was alive before you threw them over the side. I could be wrong too of course. I just think people have gotten alot better at lying today and when you have some time to actually concoct a story and an alibi, its even easier. Who knows.
