A persons Guilt or Innocence should never be determined by how they look. It should always be determined by the evidence, or lack of evidence.

The defense did their best to create doubt, but it came off as desperate, spinning out of context, and badgering witnesses to get frazzled answers. The main body of evidence is indisputable. There is no reasonable doubt in it. I'd vote guilty on the second charge of vehicular homicide while intoxicated, and for leaving the scene.

I remember coming into this case once upon a time prob siding more with you and thinking and saying similar things about the pro Karen supporters. I’m talking early on… I’ve been engaged to this since well before the trial began. I didn’t shift my opinions until the trial and midway through it.
I am fully convinced this is a non-case. An incomplete case at the very least. The jury clearly feels the same way but this judge isn’t letting them get off with a hung jury. They prob just want out of it at this point because they sense to much going on that isn’t being shown or shared…. No one wants to convict the wrong person or have an incomplete picture and this all feels incomplete. Even with all the trial…. The truth wasn’t shown or revealed and def not proven. This will end in a hung jury or innocent.
Anything else will only heighten the likelihood that some shady stuff is going on behind the scenes.
Someone is dead here and it’s a shame.. but the worst thing you can do in attempting to get justice for that person and their families is get it wrong and shatter more lives. Once someone’s convicted, our system is designed to make it almost impossible to get out from. It takes YEARS… at the minimum.
Getting it right is better than putting someone, anyone, away for it.

I guess you weren’t listening to the last hearing - it was the other way around. That’s where they had to have an entire day of voir dire at the end of the trial, because the defense didn’t offer the dog lady or the other two as witnesses until weeks into the trial.
That they couldn't/didn't comprehend all of the scientific and expert evidence by defense. That they didn't see instantly and clearly, the prosecution witness testimony discrepancies...enough to see more than reasonable doubt, is concerning.

Although not evidence, I find it concerning that her father gave an interview well before the trial saying Karen told him she thought she hit something that night; however, the AARCA experts were all that is needed for not guilty on all charges. There was no evidence that her vehicle hit JO except for the testimony of Trooper Paul and he was unbelievable and not credible.

John Okeefe is the most important part of this trial. Jurors responsibility is to voice a verdict for him. The jurors no doubt can not agree if Karen Read premeditated or accidentally hit and ran. No matter how much money is spent on spinning this case in the media, sooner or later truth prevails. We have the best justice system in the world.

She confessed at the crime scene "I him hit" to 4 people who testified under oath.
All 12 people who were in the house testified under oath that John never came inside.
John's phone can be traced from the bar to the house and the phone stopped moving in front of the flagpole.
At that time, Karen's EDR from her car shows her in reverse and backing up for 62 ft at 24 mph, 74% throttle.
Although she intended to hit him, it was probably only to knock him down because she was angry, jealous, and drunk. I would vote for a guilty on the second charge.

Karen's Guilty. We all understand that victims of head injuries can sometimes get up and fight like hell no matter what condition they look like they're in or how long they've been knocked out for. Why would Brian Albert let everyone leave the house so fast? Brian Albert is very slow and obese. I'm certain that there's victims of head injuries even worse than John's that got up and escaped. He would have needed at least another man to stay there because maybe John gets up and breaks Brian wife's neck or hits Brian in the head with an object. It could have easily happened because John died after 6am. John had alot of life still in him after Karen hit him. People with head injuries get up on their feet again all the time whether it takes 45 minutes or over an hour even. Surely, Brian would have demanded another person be there the whole time.

Read is sooo guilty. She knew what she was doing. She hit him purposefully because she was angry. Read thought Mr. O’Keefe was seeing someone else. If there is a God in heaven she will be found guilty.

It will be a hung jury. The prosecution over shot the top indictment and the lesser charges. Hard to say whether they will try this again. If the money is run dry, no but if the money is deep in this jurisdiction, they might want to
replace the D.A. in this case. Manslaughter should have been the top charge. The puncture marks on Johns arms do add up to reasonable dog bites. You don't get those from a tail light on a SUV.

You must have missed the fact and the evidence recorded by her very own SUV, the ERD which actually recorded her backing up 63 ft at 24 mph hitting O'Keefe at 12.30 am.

Not guilty of what? Her vehicle recorded her reversing back 62 ft at 24 mph hitting O'Keefe. She is responsible for John O'Keefe's death-She hit him with her SUV, took off and left him in a seriously injured state to die a horrible in the freezing sub zero cold.
She told the paramedics this is all my fault, "I hit him", "I hit him" "I hit him" because at this stage Karen desperately wants them to fix him and make him all better-undo the horrible thing Karen had done earlier.
