keep up the hard work. remember everyone starts somewhere and seat time is always key to get yourself better and to learn the car! Keep pushing my guy.
Will do man, thanks! And yeah for sure, thats why I wanted to film from day one start out with a slow and close to stock car. That way I can learn the car in its original form, and slowly change and upgrade whats necessary for me to do better and have more fun! I also find it interesting to feel the difference each mod makes instead of starting out with a heavily modified car that already has everything youd need (or dont need yet)
@werhujipnksdfujpa appreciate that, man! Yeah, I'll be uploading in summer again, I'm currently traveling around in australia, haha. But as soon as I get back in may I'll be putting the turbo on and getting it ready for shotsu in june or july
Haha, no way! We're you the one that at some point tried to follow me for a few laps as well? And thank you! It's pretty basic, but that's all you need on an s13, really
@@timariddle626 hahaha, i do on my clean s13 (200sx). But here in europe that doesn't really happen often. The 240 is imported, so the dash had seen some heat
@@Tacmans thats sweet, I think it's more fun to start out with a very basic setup, that way you'll actually feel what every change does, and improve your skill and car together. I welded a bung in my oil pan already when I did the rebuild, but kept it NA so i could feel what a NA ka24 feels like as we only got the ca18det's. I do plan on turboing it next year though
Saw a tiktok some time ago with your car in it from a carmeet and always wondered who owned it since i havent seen many 240sx in Europe so its nice that youtube recommended me this video! Love the 240! I dream of owning one oneday but they are very rare in Norway
Thats sick man, appreciate it! Didn't even know they put me on tiktok haha. And yeah theres only a few around, but I wanted to give the ka24 a shot when i saw one for sale. If you care you can look me up on insta lil_ess_thirteen. But yeah they're very expensive these days unfortunately 😢
@oooooooliver it was imported through the nato base in Germany in 2014. Then it passed through a few hands without the correct papers as they never imported it to europe correctly (probably not needed for americans stationed here) and then someone spun a bearing and tried to take it apart, but couldn't fix it himself. And that's when i bought it and started restoring it
Yeah it is! Might be my favourite track since its so big and can have many different layouts. If you look up "tor Jastrząb radom" on google, you can see the full layout. Only downside is, its about 1350km away, but its a cool track with a 2 day open track event.
@nylospopculture6541 you can still buy the bumper new from nissan like i did for my other s13. But this one is just an old brandless reproduction. If you dont want to spend around 1300 euros for a real one, I'd definitely recommend Bybakits for the fiberglass version. They're known to fit well
Are those 18inch wheels? I just bought that same bodykit and I dont know what wheel size to go with, you think 17 will be good? Or the bodykit will be too low and touch the ground?
@ggf_jerry441 just welded! It was quite a simple setup. Pretty much all original bushings everywhere except for the drift works adjustable arms. And those were mainly to get rid of some camber. Some blitz (same as bc) coils and that was basically it!
@@dannovic I really appreciate it man I’ll look into the arms for sure I’ve been debating about drifting mine but wanted it to be as simple as can be you know?
@ggf_jerry441 thats exactly how I wanted it to be! And definitely the best to start out with if you ask me. That way you can improve your skills first and slowly upgrade your car along the way when you need it. Instead of learning with a bunch of handicap features that will save your ass in any situation without you noticing the problems. I dont have a fancy handbrake either, nor even used the stock one. Its all in the momentum and lines you take!
I felt like I had progressed quite a lot in just those 2 days. Definitely took me a while to figure it out, and i still havent touched my handbrake, but other than that it was a successful event. Will be doing another one in june with hopefully a bit more power
@SkUmBa9 its just a normal type x front bumper with gp sports sideskirts and rear bumper! However, I do run a different front lip now that I produce myself (it's work in progress) and want to get a HotRoad rear bumper lip instead of the gp sports bumper soon as well. These sideskirts are also a bit messed up as they fall inwards too much, so I'll have to find another set of them as well. If you'd like to see more pictures, you can see them on my instagram @lil_ess_thirteen
Yeah the prices are fucked, but there are still some deals out there if youre willing to and have space to restore them. This car had no interior and rodknock. I spend about a year and a half sourcing parts, rebuilding the engine and fixing the rust myself. But that being said, you might be better off getting a cheap 350z nowadays
@SALON_V_STILE_TRIBAL yeah same for me man, im from the netherlands. But i did buy one for 2500 about a year ago, and two others for 1300 and 2200 about 2 years ago. You just have to be lucky and immediately go and get them
Such a beautiful car to watch slide doesn't matter the power
Haha thanks you! It is getting more power this season though. I'm currently buying everything I need for a turbo setup

this car is driving great for a 150 hp sohc
