Loved seeing this! My dad is about to do his first event next weekend at 60 years old in a s197! I already know he’s gonna tell me he watched this video on his own later this week haha We’re gonna go through your basics videos before he goes out and he’s so hyped!
Great video, thank you for putting it together. Here's a quick list from the video: Toe Plates Measuring Tape x2 Tote Adjustable Wrench Gear Wrench tool box Wire spool (medium size) Head Lamp Fuses & Electrical Connectors Battery Jumper/Jump Box Coolant Jack stand Lug Nuts Zip Ties Oil Brake Fluid Brake Clean Microfiber & Cleaner JB Weld Spare Relay Electrical tape Pry Bar Tie Rods Coil Packs Heim Joints Coilover wrenches Lower Control Arm Extra Axle SPARE parts (things that have broken before, Power steering, fuel pump, headlights, etc…) Tires Gas can
Before we put in the e34 m5 diff and got the sponsorship from driveshaft shop our main extras were ZFs, diffs, axles and driveshafts for renting out MIR. If you are tuning a good power inverter is a must cause laptops die at the worst times. Also I know its easy to overlook but pack some jackstands. Seen too many ppl making sketchy repairs with just a jack or even worse the factory e36 jack🤣
I do exactly the same, when I put new parts on the car for maintenance (e36 stuff water pump/thermostat/belts/pulleys tensioners/coolant hoses/driveshafts/radiator/guibo/brake fluid/gloves/ etc) all the working old stuff goes in the box as spares 👍🏽 and all the stuff you've got is in there too, not only has it saved me plenty of times also it's been nice to help out others that have had car problems at the track too
this is perfect. the only thing i would add , is a torque wrench lol . i went to a spirit event before all the madness and some driver asked me why i was using it on the wheels and parts.
"All the sockets you'd ever need" with the exception of a 10mm as you quickly put the drawer back lol. Definitely appreciate your content! You're by far the most informative (that I've seen) in regards to understanding the sport and how to get involved.
Also gonna recommend bringing a spare axle shaft (especially for anyone running a Ford 8.8 with 28 spline axles), and JB Weld Tank Weld putty is another great thing to have.
What I would like to see people bringing is a good attitude, willingness to advance their skills, an understanding of the rules/tech, and the ability to play well with others. But on the real, I think a good thing to bring is an action camera of some sort, to watch over how you are driving and progressing.
iv been criticised for bringing too many spares but too often them lads ask me for stuff that would end there day. if iv been caught or seen someone caught for my platform then i buy it as a spare. you cant rely on track support to have every little thing
Thanks for your insight, I'm going to my first drift day (beginner morning session) at Archerfield drift Park and I've seen some things that other people bring but this video is something I can keep referencing so I don't forget lol
Hi i am planning on being a race car driver of a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix i like Using Shell V-Power fuel for my Drifting events in the future it has fuel stabilizer and high octane. content and low amounts of fuel injector cleaner in it I love Pontiac's as they are a Good Company that represents Power Speed and excitement. therefore, this video is. very good I am currently still watching your video so Thanks for the great video once again merry Christmas eve. and i hope you're doing great. 🏁🏁🚘🏁🏁😄
Depending where you live if there is a motorsports shop that specializes in circle track racing or drag racing fabrication or services they usually sell them. I got mine from a small local shop, super chill people with a common love for loud stuff!

To add on I would say add two small sheets of plywood that you can place under the jack stands in case the pits are on top of grass!

Thanks so much for this! I am getting close to getting my e46 back to driving and I am hoping to go to my first drift event! This was very helpful!

True. Worth noting!

Would love to see a video about that clownshoe on the lift!
i have to take a spare diff because im a broky with a small case xD
Damn, I watched the whole video waiting for the Busch light 😏😏
great video !
Whats the scoop on that 996?
Can you do a video on how to use toe plates
are you kidding? you put them against your wheels and measure the difference front to back. you could try googling it, its as basic as it gets.
I love you thank you
What kind of jump pack is that?
Any fluid container that will fit in one, put it in a zip lock bag. Nothing like 32oz of brake fluid sloshing around in the box.
I love u father
So what's good with that 996 cup car in the back lol
Maybe I’ll do a video on it.
+tire plugs and battery air pump
🔥🔥👍
Can you be my drift Sensei please
💯😎
PSA for BMW dudes. Don’t forget your fan clutch tool 😂
